Algoritmy barvení grafů v úlohách rozvrhování za náhody / Vertex coloring algorithms in scheduling problems under uncertainty

Hájek, Štěpán January 2015 (has links)
This thesis concerns solutions to problems that arise in optimizing fixed interval scheduling under situations of uncertainty such as when there are random delays in job process times. These problems can be solved by using a vertex coloring with random edges and problems can be formulated using integer linear, quadratic and stochastic programming. In this thesis is propo- sed a new integer linear formulation. Under certain conditions there is proved its equivalence with stochastic formulation, where is maximized the schedule reliability. Moreover, we modified the proposed formulation to obtain bet- ter corresponding to real life situations. In a numerical study we compared computational time of individual formulations. It turns out that the propo- sed formulation is able to solve scheduling problems considerably faster than other formulations. 1

Strategie řešení úloh o obsahu rovinných obrazců na základní škole / Strategies of solving problems focusing on area of plane figures in elementary school

Patočková, Věra January 2017 (has links)
The theme of the diploma work are pupil's strategies of solving selected problems focusing on area of plane figures. The theoretical part includes definitions of basic ideas - problem, area, problems of area, solving problems, solving strategies. Plane figures are classified into particular school classes. Every plane figure is presented by examples of types of the problems, which are most common in elementary schools. The practical part of the work begins with the preparation of an experiment, where the objektive of the experiment is introduced, selection of problems for this experiment, description of tested group and the way of getting data. Follows the description of realization of the experiment. It contains three problems of the area of plane figures which were solved by pupils of the eighth and the ninth class. Supposed strategies, expected mistakes and analysis of pupil's solutions are presented. Expected and obtained solving strategies are compared for every problems. The result of the experiment is summarised in the conclusion. Keywords: problem, area, problems of area, solving problems, solving strategies, heuristic strategy

Symetrický a asymetrický kontext slovních úloh a jeho vliv na úspěšnost žáků a jejich chyby / Symmetric and asymmetric context of word problems and its influence on the success of pupils' and on the types of their mistakes

Matějková, Klára January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with the connection between the way the mathematical word problems are formulated and their being understood correctly by the pupils. The main focus is on the semantic cues present in the assignment of the word problem. The thesis can be divided into two parts. The first part, which provides the theoretical framework for the whole thesis, contains the definition of a word problem. The phases of word problems solving and the possible classification of word problems are mentioned. More attention is paid to the problems with translation cues; new concepts of asymmetric context and symmetric context, called semantic cues, are introduced. An overview of several related research studies from abroad follows. The core of the thesis lies in its second part, containing a study that examines whether the pupils would be more successful in solving problems with asymmetric contexts than in solving problems with symmetric contexts. The influence had been examined on two types of problems and four age categories of pupils and students. The research was carried out through the short tests and it was attended by the total of 503 pupils of selected elementary schools and grammar schools in Prague and students of the Faculty of Education of Charles University. A higher success rate for the asymmetric...

Analýza dopadu presunu skladu na náklady spoločnosti / Analysis of the company´s expenses associated with relocation of the distribution center

Petrovičová, Andrea January 2017 (has links)
The objective of the thesis is to analyze the company´s expenses associated with relocation of the distribution centre as well as to describe the components of expenses associated with transport between company and customers. An important part of the thesis is comparison of the individual delivery routes. The theoretical part provides a brief description of Vehicle Routing Problem and its modifications as well as the different options how to solve it. The expenses calculations of truck transport are approximated to the reader. The practical part shows the real problem of Nestlé. The decreasing of the expenses is shown on real data. The reason of decreasing is the relocation of the distribution centre. The model routes are compared with the actual ones using MPL. It also shows the potential cost reduction.

Heuristické metody řešení zobecněných rozvozních úloh / Heuristic Methods for Solving Generalized Vehicle Routing Problems

Kalendovský, Jan January 2010 (has links)
The goal of the diploma thesis is to introduce and describe a heuristic method for finding a sub-optimal system of circuits in a generalized vehicle routing problem with time windows and time-dependent unit costs. Proposed method was built up on Clarke and Wright's savings method for the standard vehicle routing problem. Additionally, there has been described an algorithm for improving current solution via finding an optimal time harmonogram for a journey on each circuit within the found sub-optimal system of circuits.

Geofyzikální metody začlenění lokálních výškových systémů do celosvětového výškového systému / Geophysical methods of integration of the local vertical datums into World Height System

Buday, Michal Unknown Date (has links)
One of the main problems of current physical geodesy is the unification of local height systems and the creation of the unified global vertical reference frame, whose primary definition constant will be the geopotential value of W0 on the level surface, such as geoid. This problem encounters several pitfalls, such as different types of physical heights used in the world, ways of eliminating the effects of tides on the shape of the Earth's body. The first parts of the thesis describe the theoretical foundations concerning the description of the Earth's gravitational field, the basics of height theory and the solution of the boundary value problems used in geodesy, together with the solution of the Hotine's and Stokes' integral by convolution. Due to the fact that the data of directly measured gravity acceleration for the territory of the Czechia and the Slovakia are not freely available with sufficient coverage, these data were replaced by gravity disturbances calculated from the Global Gravity Model of the Earth. To improve the data obtained from geopotential models, so-called residual terrain modelling was used. It is a spectral combination of gravity field models with relevant Earth's gravitational field quantities, which are obtained by modeling from a digital terrain model and a height model that represents the mean value of topography. The combination of these data consists of calculating those frequencies of the gravitational signal from the digital terrain model that are not a part of the signal obtained from geopotential models that in general have a lower spatial resolution. Two methods were used to connect the local height systems of the Czechia and the Slovakia. The first method was to use the solution of Molodensky's problem. The second method used is originally a method developed to test geopotential models. Both methods were tested on a set of measuring points (GNSS/levelling points).
