Alternativní způsob řešení úloh LP / Alternative Method of Solution for LP Problem

Hanzlík, Tomáš January 2009 (has links)
Linear programming (LP) stands for an optimization of a linear objective function, subject to linear and non-negativity constraints. For this purpose many methods for LP emerged. The best known is Simplex Method. Another group of methods for LP is represented by Interior Point Methods (IPM). These methods are based on interior points of feasible region of a problem, while Simplex Method uses basic feasible solution of a problem. This thesis focuses on theoretical background of IPM and brings it into relation with algorithms based on IPM. KKT system and its significance are included and the algorithm solving Linear Complementarity Problem is discussed as well. In this thesis, two algorithms based on IPM are introduced and used for solving a sample LP problem.

Úloha sestry v péči o pacienty s akutní bolestí na pracovištích intenzivní péče. / The role of nurses in the care of patients with acute pain in intensive care departments.

LINHARTOVÁ, Lucie January 2011 (has links)
Diploma thesis entitled focuses on acute pain in general, as well as on post-operation pain, which is one of the types of acute pain. The first part of the thesis deals with acute pain as such and its characteristics. The second part deals with intensive care units (ICU). The third part contains description of post-surgery pain, treatment thereof, and the nurse?s role in taking care of clients suffering post-surgery pain. Three goals have been outlined. Goal 1: Identification of the techniques that nurses use at ICUs to sooth clients? pain. Goal 2: Map the monitoring the pain of clients hospitalized at ICUs. Goal 3: Find out whether the techniques for reducing pain of clients hospitalized at ICUs are effective. A quality-oriented research was applied for evaluation of the results, using a method of non-standardized interview with nurses and clients. The results can be used as a comparative overview of the most common pain-reducing techniques and proof of their effectiveness for clients.

Význam hudby ve volném čase středoškolské mládeže v Jihočeském kraji / Meaning of music in the leisure time of high school students in the South Bohemia region

HŘÍBALOVÁ, Petra January 2015 (has links)
The main subject of my thesis is to investigate the importance of music as a leisure time activity among the high school students in South Bohemia. In the theoretical part my primary attention has been paid on music functions, the influence of music on the body and psyche, history of musical styles, music division and music subcultures. Subsequently I defined the term "adolescent" and clarified evolution specifics of this period in terms of physical and psychological changes. Then I described the concept of leisure time and characterized function, history and attitude of young people to leisure time activities. Based on the results of former researches I described the relationship of teen agers with music, role that music plays in the lives of adolescents and what are general attitudes of today's young people towards music. In the practical part I analyzed the results of my questionnaire survey, when I contacted high school students in South Bohemia and examined their relationship with music, listening frequency, musical tastes, periodicity of listening, etc.

ŠAVRDOVÁ, Tereza January 2017 (has links)
This thesis deals with the analysis of problem-solving exercises of selected chemistry syllabus topics for the GCSE exam. The theoretical part starts with a brief description of the conceptual evolution of the chemistry GCSE exam. Furthermore, the subject of chemistry in the Framework Education Programme (FEP) for secondary schools (gymnasium type) is characterized, and a list of the most common types of chemistry problems in the admissions exams for universities is presented. In the practical part, the authors compare the relation of chemistry GCSE topics at selected gymnasium schools with the learning objectives and syllabus defined by FEP. The partial aim is to analyze the preparatory problem-solving exercises for university admission exams and for chemistry GCSE exams in terms of a structure and prevailing typology of learning tasks. The authors have created a set of more complex exercises that emphasizes an interconnection of selected topics from organic and general chemistry. This outcome represents a potential contribution to the educational practice.

Úloha sestry při invazivních technikách při léčbě chronické bolesti / Nurse task when using invasive methods by chronic pain treatmet

VOJTOVÁ, Marie January 2012 (has links)
The thesis is focused on a research and the evaluation of the nurse role during the invasive methods in chronic pain treatment and on a research the patient satisfaction and expectation with the nurses approach during the invasive methods in chronic pain treatment. The basis for the thesis processing is qualitative ? quantitative research carried out in the departments of pain treatment in four hospitals, in University Hospital Motol, University Hospital Brno, Hospital České Budějovice a.s., University Hospital PlzeňAlejSvobody. Qualitative research focuses on nurses working in the department of pain treatment using a method of questioning with the technique of non-standardized interview. Within qualitative research, we was looking for the answer to the research question: What is the nurse role during the invasive technique in chronic pain treatment? It was found, from the results of the interviews and their analysis, that nurses have within the invasive performance wide field of action and their role is changing in various stages of the entire performance. In all phases of the invasive performance, it´s essential the communication between the nurse and the patient. In the phase before the invasive performance and afterwards is the most dominated the educational role, except for the nursing role. Quantitative research using the questionnaire was intended for patients in the departments of pain treatment. The following predetermined hypothesis were verified using quantitative research: H1: Patients are satisfied with the nurses approach during the invasive techniques in pain treatment. H2: Patients with chronic pain during the invasive methods are expecting especially the empathetic approach from nurses. Evaluation of the questionnaires, which were voluntarily completed by patients, can be ended that both given hypothesis H1 and H2 have been confirmed and that the targets of qualitative researches have been met. The space for improvement can be found in the patient education before the invasive performance. Therefore We created educational material for patients. This educational material is not intended to replace the education conducted by nurses, it rather serves as a basis for the questions preparation that the patient will want to clarify before the invasive performance.

Úloha sestry při adaptaci novorozence po porodu / Role of the midwife in adaptation of the newborn after the birth.

MATÝSOVÁ, Monika January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the role of the child nurse in the adaptation of the newborn after delivery. In the theoretical part we devote to the available scientific knowledge focused on the course of pregnancy, the way of giving birth (vaginal and operative), assessment of postnatal adaptation of the newborn, breastfeeding and its importance. The essential part is mapping the role of child nurse in newborn care using the NOC system to evaluate their postnatal adaptation. The Czech and foreign literary sources were used for the theoretical part of the diploma thesis. The first aim of the diploma thesis was a detailed mapping of the role of the child nurse in postnatal adaptation of the newborn after physiological and operative delivery. Two research questions have been selected for its solution. The first research question was, what Apgar values the newborns show after the physiological and operative delivery. The second research question was the success of the first application of the newborn to breastfeeding within 30 minutes after physiological and operative delivery. The second aim of this diploma thesis was to verify the classification of the NOC on the evaluation of the newborn adaptation. For the solution, a research question has been determined, what is the opinion of nurses on the use of the NOC classification system in postnatal adaptation. For the empirical part of the research we have chosen a qualitatively quantitative strategy. Observation, individual semi-structured interviews with nurses and written filling of NOC classification system forms were used for data collection. The first research group was 10 newborns after the physiological - vaginal delivery and 10 newborns after the operative delivery by Caesarean section. The second research group consisted of 2 child nurses working with neonates as part of postnatal adaptation in Hospital Jihlava. Analyzing and interpreting the obtained results, we found out that newborns born by vaginal delivery had an average Apgar score of 8.03 and newborns born by Caesarean section had an average Apgar score of 9.50. The average values of the indicators in the NOC classification system code 0118 The adaptation of the newborn showed slightly poorer results after vaginal deliveries. Two groups of newborns that we followed did not match the generally expected results. Newborns after the Caesarean section are threatened by risk factors, but due to careful nursing care and gentle childbirth, such a risk does not occur and the process of postnatal adaptation can be successful. In the NOC classification system code 1000 Beginning of breastfeeding child showed the indicators at vaginal deliveries, at least 8 feedings per day and infant satisfaction after feeding, better results. In the NOC classification system code 1001 Beginning of breastfeeding mother the average values of breast suction indicators and satisfaction with the breastfeeding process resulted better in favour of neonates born vaginally compared to neonates after Caesarean section. As regards the success of the first feeding of neonates to breastfeeding within 30 minutes after delivery, a clearly superior result was obtained for newborns born vaginally. The conclusions drawn from our research in relation to child breastfeeding by mother confirm the clear benefit of vaginal births for the successful adaptation of newborns. A child nurse undoubtedly plays an important role in the assessment of postnatal adaptation of the newborn. The research of the diploma thesis shows that the classification system NOC is very well sophisticated in the context of a newborn adaptation and it is even detailed in connection with the follow-up and subsequent provision of newborn care. Its full use in current practice in the established care system of particular healthcare facilities is not possible due to insufficient staffing of the department. The existing documentation system does not provide reserves

Vícekriteriální a robustní zobecnění úlohy prodavače novin / Multicriteria and robust extension of news-boy problem

Šedina, Jaroslav January 2018 (has links)
This thesis studies a classic single-period stochastic optimization problem called the newsvendor problem. A news-boy must decide how many items to order un- der the random demand. The simple model is extended in the following ways: endogenous demand in the additive and multiplicative manner, objective func- tion composed of the expected value and Conditional Value at Risk (CVaR) of profit, multicriteria objective with price-dependent demand, multiproduct exten- sion under dependent and independent demands, distributional robustness. In most cases, the optimal solution is provided. The thesis concludes with the nu- merical study that compares results of two models after applying the Sample Average Approximation (SAA) method. This study is conducted on the real data. 1

Videosekvence a jejich využití při výuce fyziky na ZŠ / Videosequention and their usage by physics education at basic schools

RYNEŠ, Tomáš January 2010 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to certify appropriateness of using the video sequences during the Physics lessons. The school lessons are complemented by multimedia items which are not found in traditional education and that are why pupils can verify their theoretical knowledge during the work with the video sequences. The main point is the conditions that if the theoretical knowledge and competences given during the Psychics lessons are complemented by the concrete samples, pupils will easily understand and master it. It is a well chosen educational strategy which will lead to better fulfilment of the key competences in Physics.
