PREDIKCE CEN ROPY PRO POTREBY FIREM ANGAŽOVANÝCH V ENERGETICKY NÁROCNÝCH VÝROBÁCH / CRUDE OIL PREDICTION FOR COMPANIES IN ENERGY DEMANDING PRODUCTION

Vícha, Tomáš January 2007 (has links)
The dissertation deals with prediction of crude oil price and is tailor-made for such companies which are heavily crude oil related. The main dissertation target is to make sure that such companies can get ready for price changes and safeguard themselves against negative consequences. Crude oil prices are the main factor which affects prices of such final products as petrol. It is a well known fact that quantitative predictions are not reliable and all those who are forced to real on such vague data set for their decision-making are reluctant to use them. That’s how we would like to have at least the correct trend information. The dissertation introduces some concepts originally developed within artificial intelligence theory for the crude oil predictions. Specifically common sense algorithms and qualitative interpretation of some aspects of theory of chaos are the main contribution towards expanding of available prediction tools described by the dissertation. A systematic analysis of a sequence of qualitative solutions is the key part of the dissertation.

Nelineární modelování volatility finančních časových řad / Nonlienar volatility modeling in financial time series

Sychova, Maryna January 2021 (has links)
In this work we want to examine selected models with nonlinear volatility and their properties. At the beginning we define models with non-constant variance, especially ARCH, GARCH and EGARCH models. Then we study the probability distributions that are mainly used in the EGARCH model. Then we focus on the EGARCH model, describe the conditions for stationarity and invertibility of the model, define diagnostic tests and QMLE estimates of parameters. In the last chapter we perform simulation studies of the selected models and their application to real data. 1

Metody MCMC pro finanční časové řady / MCMC methods for financial time series

Tritová, Hana January 2016 (has links)
This thesis focuses on estimating parameters of appropriate model for daily returns using the Markov Chain Monte Carlo method (MCMC) and Bayesian statistics. We describe MCMC methods, such as Gibbs sampling and Metropolis- Hastings algorithm and their basic properties. After that, we introduce different financial models. Particularly we focus on the lognormal autoregressive model. Later we theoretically apply Gibbs sampling to lognormal autoregressive model using principles of Bayesian statistics. Afterwards, we analyze procedu- res, that we used in simulations of posterior distribution using Gibbs sampling. Finally, we present processed output of both simulated and real data analysis.

Řízení kvality v projektech / Quality Management in Projects

Kanta, Petr January 2011 (has links)
The main objective is to organize and enrich the theory of Project Quality Management, which was achieved by several sub-objectives. There was performed a research on Project Quality Management in practice not only in Czech Republic, but also in the world. This research found the most common standard/methodology for Project Quality Management and subsequently was applied in practice. This thesis also includes selection of the most appropriate techniques and tools for Quality Management. Theoretical section explains basic terms related to the topic of thesis, described the most important standards and Project Quality Management methodologies, determined hypotheses and way of questionnaire survey carried out a research related to thesis topic. Given the results of the survey is the practical section devoted to application of PMBOK methodology into practical Project Quality Management. Follows an overview of the most appropriate techniques and tools suitable for Project Quality Management also based on results of research.

Normalizace dat časových řad Landsat metodou IR-MAD / Normalization of Time Series Data of Landsat

Svoboda, Jan January 2019 (has links)
Spectral reflectance of the Earth surface, obtained from the satellite images, should be independent from the external influences and should reflect the surface properties, specifically the proportion of the radiance reflected from the object. It was proved in this paper that the time series of the 63 images from the Landsat 5 satellite were visibly influenced by the external factors even in the case of the images already atmospherically corrected. These external factors were age of the image and WRS-2 position from which the image was obtained. Age of the image was documented with the steady decrease of the spectral reflectance values of the invariant features, especially in the visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum, caused by the sensor degradation. The influence of the WRS-2 position was documented especially in the infrared bands. The western parts of the images are lighter (have higher values of the surface reflectance) than the eastern parts. That may cause the difference between values when monitoring one spot in two overlapping WRS-2 positions. The method originally used for the relative radiometric normalization IR-MAD was here applied to normalize the surface reflectance data, and resulted in the fact that these influences did not show up any more. In order to extend the time...

Systém řízení kvality ve vybraném podniku / The quality management system in the selected company

WERNEROVÁ, Petra January 2016 (has links)
This Thesis is focused on the quality management system. The aim of this Thesis is an analysis of the current situation of the quality management system. Suggest measures to improve that system based on the detected results. The Thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part presents readers the basic information about quality management system necessary for understanding this issue. This theoretical part is due to the practical part focused on quality management system according to ISO 9000 standards and also partly on integrated management system. The second practical part consists of three other individual parts, namely the characteristics of the selected company, an analysis of the current situation in the quality management system and suggestions to improve the current situation. The areas necessary to understand the way the company secures the system of quality are primarily analysed (the attitude of the company's leaders towards the quality system management, quality audit, economics of quality, quality system documentation, etc.). Main section of this part is a chapter devoted to suggestions, to improve the current situation, which in case of interest could be used by the selected company. While drafting the proposals the emphasis was focused on meeting the basic principles of quality management. All proposals are draw up with the intent to improve the quality of provided services and increase the satisfaction of company's customers.

Statistická analýza vývoje nezaměstnanosti v regionech ČR / Statistical analysis of unemployment development in CR regions

Knobloch, Pavel January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis analyzes the evolution of regional disparities in terms of unemployment in Czech Republic in the period from 2005 to 2015. The theoretical part focuses on labor market issues and unemployment. In practical part of diploma thesis, there is examined unemployment according to the share of unemployed persons in the respective regions, then also unemployment according to the share of unemployed men and women, prediction of the future development of the share of unemployed persons for the year 2016, the number of registered job seekers, vacancies and the number of registered persons per vacancy. Subsequently all regions are examined in the mutual comparison of registered job-seekers in categories according to age and registration length. Analysis of the evolution of unemployment is illustrated by tables and graphs expressing time series. For statistical examination is used arithmetic average and especially indices in time series as a chain index, growth rate, the average ratio of growth and the average growth rate. There is the overall analysis of the regions according to selected criteria in the conclusion of the thesis. The results characterize regions, which appears to be the worst from the perspective of unemployment and belong amongst endangered or regions achieving the most favourable values.
