The diploma thesis is focusing on the review of financial indicators of a selected company through the use of statistical methods. Time series analysis, interval regression analysis, and regression analysis were used to analyse financial indicators, and based on that a prediction of the development in the next two years was created. The analysis also addresses potential risks for the company and possible ways to lower them. Based on the information obtained from the analysis a complete evaluation is created and recommendations are made to improve the company’s situation.

The diploma thesis evaluates the economic situation of the company Niveko s.r.o. in between years 2011 to 2018. The theoretical part describes financial indicators, time series, regression and correlation analysis. The analytical part contains calculations of financial indicators, some of which are selected for statistical analysis, which is used to determine the expected development of indicators in the next two years or to reveal the dependence between selected indicators. The last part contains suggestions for improving the current economic situation of the company.

The diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation of the performance of a selected company operating in the food industry in the period 2013-2018. The thesis uses PEST analysis, regression analysis and time series analysis in Maple software and benchmarking. Using these tools and the results of analyses, proposals are made to improve the company's performance and also future potential development of the company is descripted.

The thesis is divided into three main parts, namely the theoretical basis of the work, analytical part and final proposals that could means improvement. The master‘s thesis examines the issue of the interconnection of market potential with financial indicators and other variables. Data from the financial statements of ABC, s. r. o. operating on the Slovak IT market are used. The dependence of market potential and other market variables was evaluated using statistical methods. Subsequently, the analysis of selected financial indicators of the company ABC, s. r. o. is statistically evaluated and the dependence with market potential is verified. Thanks to the results, the company's proposals are determined, taking into account the current situation in the world.

Speech signal is being used in the meaning of nonlinear dynamic system. As such, it is transform to multidimensional phase space, where filtration method based on time series neighbors of analysed signal is used. For embedding phase space methods time delay and false nearest neighbors are applied.

Difficult problems are tasks which number of possible solutions increase exponentially or factorially. Application of common mathematical methods for finding proper solution in polynomial time is ineffective. Signal prediction is an example of diffucult problem. Signal is represented with a time serie and there is no explicit mathematical formula describing the signal. When genetic algorithms are applicated, they try to discover hidden patterns in time serie. These patterns can be used for prediction. Implication rules are used for discovery of these hidden patterns in time serie. Each rule is represented by one chromosome in population. Rules consist of two parts: conditional part and result part. Rules in population are compared with time serie and then the rules are evaluated according to their success in prediction. After the evaluation of rules, simulated evolution is started. Result of this evolution process is a group of rules which represent the most distinct patterns in time serie. These rules are then validated on validation set. Application is implemented in JAVA programming language.

The thesis focuses on assessing economic health of Agro Zvole, a.s. company, operating in the agricultural sector, producing plant and animal production. For objective evaluation of economic performance financial analysis indicators are used, to also work with statistics, represented by timeline analysis technique. Both previous numerical procedures (methodology) are based on company financial statements for each fiscal period. To be specific, individual indicators of financial analysis from the financial statements (profit and loss account and balance sheet) are calculated for each fiscal period and these are then aligned using time lines and future trends prediction (development). The individual results are accompanied by commentaries. To create the right comments, resulting from arithmetic operations, it is useful to compare individual results with management of other corporate entities within a single sector of the economy and their respective area. That is why other agricultural companies from former Žďár nad Sázavou district are included in the research as they follow: Agria Ujčov, a.s., Bobrovská, a.s. and Bohuňov Company, a.s. Previous research conclusions based on results of comparing the management of Agro Zvole, a.s. with managements of other companies are used to discover gaps of Agro Zvole, a.s. management. Next section of the thesis is devoted to model my own proposals to eliminate or at least alleviate problematic conditions in the company's performance. It is important to find mistakes, but more importantly find a way to eliminate them. In conclusion, the thesis summarizes the results of each part of the work and its benefits are outlined for the referenced entity.

The analysis of financial statements of Norgren CZ Company based on statistical methods and comparing with Festo Company, which is one of the best competitors this concern, is the object of presented thesis. Used methods are financial analysis and time series analysis. Suggest part of thesis is focused on inventory management, cost reduction and looking for new markets opportunities. The thesis contains theoretical background needed for full understanding of the analytical part, analysis and recommendations, which after putting themselves into practice contribute to the betterment of present condition as well.

The diploma thesis deals with the current financial situation of the firm DSB EURO s.r.o. Master's thesis is focused on using statistical tools, time series and regression analysis, as an effective tool for assessing enterprise characteristics, especially economic indicators. The aim of this work is to analyze economic data, using regression analysis to assess prognosis and to draw conclusions, which should serve the company for a stable and economic growth.
