Práce nejprve vymezuje oblast řešení konfliktů a operací na udržení míru a krizového managementu, a to prostřednictvím definic základních pojmů (bezpečnost, válka, mír, konflikt a peacekeeping), stručného pojetí oblasti ?řešení konfliktů?, jejich prevence a dále charakteristiky činností a role čtyř mezinárodních organizací (OSN, OBSE, EU a NATO) při zajišťování míru (včetně zmínky o přístupu Finska k těmto aktivitám). Dále následuje analýza finské bezpečnostní a zahraniční politiky a finských aktivit pro zajišťování míru pomocí oficiálních dokumentů finské vlády (příp. ministerstva zahraničí a obrany) a publikací finského Ústavu mezinárodních vztahů. Pozornost je věnována i činnostem Marttiho Ahtisaariho a severské spolupráci.

Milan Pokorný, Ph.D., Mathematical Institute of Charles University Abstract: In the present thesis we study the global conditional regularity of weak solutions to the Cauchy problem for instationary incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in three space dimensions. In the first section, we present an overview of known conditions implying the full regularity of the equations under conside- ration. For the sake of clarity, we expose only the regularity criteria on the scale of Lebesgue spaces, especially in terms of the velocity and its components, the gradient of the velocity and its components, the pressure and the vorticity. In the subsequent sections, we generalize four regularity criteria using two different techniques. We are able to replace one velocity component or its gradient, consi- dered in the known results, by a projection of the velocity into a general vector field. For the purpose of the second method, we also generalize the multiplicative Gagliardo-Nirenberg inequality.

The retail companies have a very conservative approach concerning IT expenses and innovations. Maybe for this reason, it is now the best time for changing an IT infrastructure and a complex retail solution. Most of the companies need to optimize their processes due to the financial crisis to achieve a competitive advantage. There are many differences among the retail companies - these differences may cause that an implementation of a software solution is tricky. It is important to be aware of such aspects when implementing the software solution. The main aim of this work is to design, extend and optimize a methodology of implementation of a complex retail solution. The new methodology is quite general - it might be used for an implementation of any POS solution. The goal of new methodology is to improve top line and margin. Finally, it shall bring a bigger satisfaction to the customer. I divided this work into several main chapters. First chapter is dedicated to the specifics of retail companies - how they work, which processes they use, how much they invest into the IT. The second part contains an analysis of POS solutions available on the Czech market and a brief description of the particular software solutions with their market share. The third part is dedicated to the RIM methodology designed by Microsoft Corporation. The fourth - and the main part of my work - contains an extension of the RIM methodology. In the final part I sum up the main achievements of this work and evaluate the new extended methodology. In the appendix, I compared some examples with the real figures to the new methodology.

Settlement of International Investment Disputes The purpose of my thesis is to introduce the basic types of settlement of international investment disputes while focusing especially on arbitration proceedings conducted by tribunals of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, hereinafter referred to as ICSID. The main purpose of the thesis in this respect is to critically evaluate the situation that currently exists in international investment arbitration due to the absence of an appellate review mechanism in ICSID system and to suggest solutions to this problem. The evaluation includes both a description of current possibilities of review and a proposal of an appellate body along with alternatives thereto. The thesis is composed of three chapters. The first chapter is introductory and concerns the basic terminology of international investment law. It focuses on defining the terms investment and investor, i.e. terms that are essential for comprehension of the nature of international investment disputes. It defines the terms using mainly the ICSID case law. The second chapter deals with the individual methods of settlement of investment disputes. Diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu pracovní spokojenosti zaměstnanců konkrétní společnosti, jejíž výzkum je ve firmě proveden zejména dotazníkovým šetřením. Na základě výsledků šetření jsou navržena opatření na zlepšení stávajících nevyhovujících faktorů, které ve firmě narušují celkovou pracovní spokojenost. Úvod práce je věnován teoretické části, v níž jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy týkající se pracovní spokojenosti. Další část obsahuje stručnou charakteristiku podniku, v němž byl výzkum proveden. Předposlední,nejobsáhlejší částí je část analytická, obsahující vyhodnocení a interpretaci jednotlivých otázek dotazníkového šetření a na jeho základě ověření pravdivosti hypotéz stanovených v části teoretické. Poslední část je věnována návrhům na zlepšení současné situace.

Práce pojednává o e-learningovém řešení postaveném na klíč se zaměřením na výuku cizích jazyků. V úvodních pasážích je ve stručnosti probrána problematika e-learningu se zaměřením na popis klíčových standardů (SCORM) a používaných nástrojů (LMS). Dále je do detailů rozebrán opensourcový LMS MOODLE. Následující kapitoly se zabývají tvorbou výukového obsahu. Tato část práce je postavena na popisu systému, který se využívá v praxi ve společnosti LANGMaster. Závěrečné kapitoly pak na případové studii demonstrují, jak lze celé řešení na klíč postavit. Vše je předvedeno na hypotetické poptávce podniku po řešení na klíč.

The Master's thesis with the title the analysis of costs in the company called Jihočeská zelenina a.s. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part prepared the basis for the subsequent practical part. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate financial and managerial accounting system in controlling costs in Jihočeská zelenina a.s. and propose solutions for their effectiveness. First was described the organizational structure of the company and its range of products and was mapped his previous work with information at all levels of management. The way of preparing calculations and their current form was solved then. A new possibility how to prepare the calculation was proposed after it. At the conclusion was written about the technical aspect of the topic. They were designed different software solutions in the existing enterprise accounting software, in application MS Excel or the possibility of purchasing a new software programme.

This thesis deals with construction modifications of communications that affect the safety of pedestrians and cyclists. It focuses specifically on the crossings, which are the riskiest part of the road for pedestrians. The first part deals with the division of transport and communications, with an emphasis on communication with mixed traffic. The work includes all legislative, technical and regulatory requirements for pedestrian crossings. In the second - practical part, there was A route in city of Brno, which was monitored and evaluated and where where was found influence of parameters in individual crossings to pedestrian safety. After finding mismatches with the requirements suggestions were made to improve the situation in these crossings, which should increase the safety of pedestrians on the route.

The thesis is focused on the current status of the object and propose possible ways to restore the house. The result is the project documentation of the old and new status. The building was carried out construction-technical survey, whose output is a description of the current state of the object. The result is a draft of the new layout of the house in combination with a modern approach and total budget of input materials.

The subject of this thesis is the comprehensive research and design of costumes for the play Ubu Roi by Alfred Jarry, including documentation of the creative process from the initial analysis of the play to the final designs. This play was written in the late 19th century and is considered to be a precurser to Surrealism and Theatre of the Absurd. The story is about the brief and tyrannical reign of a hideous, backward individual named Ubu, who comes to power by murdering the Polish king. The play is notable for its rough playfulness, ruthlessness with regard to social and cultural traditions, its open-mindedness and unique use of language. On the surface it comes across as a silly farce, but it contains many deeper undertones that cause Jarry to be sometimes regarded as a symbolist writer. This work is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the author of the play, its content and the context in which it was written, and studies how it was staged in the past. It is not the aim to offer a coherent overview of the life of Alfred Jarry, his work, or the history of past productions of King Ubu. Instead, the information contained here is intended only as a documentation of the historical and theoretical research necessary to understand this work, which ultimately had an impact on the final designs. Part two documents the process of developing the costume designs themselves. Initially it introduces the key considerations that arose from reading the play that affected the overall progress of the work. There follows an analysis of the characters and situations based on the text, and sources of inspiration. The main section describes the final designs of the set and costumes that are supported by attached images.
