THESIS Pupils' problem solving strategies at lower and upper secondary level ABSTRACT Thesis Pupils' problem solving strategies at lower and upper secondary level deals with pupils' strategies of solving mathematical problems that we can observe at primary and secondary school. The theoretical part summarizes basic concepts in the field of mathematical problems and pupils' strategies. The main aim of the experimental part of the thesis is finding new knowledge from this field at the second level of Czech education. I focused primarily on tasks involving data, addiction and statistics, including the concept of a mathematical function that is deeply linked to these educational contents. In the experimental part, there are selected tasks, expected or discovered strategies, statistics of chosen strategies and the success of the solutions and strategies found, in some cases even the transcription of pupils' errors. Diplomová práce se zabývá charakteristikou a fungováním mediace v obchodních věcech jako jednou z metod alternativního řešení sporu. ? První část se zabývá technikou mediace jako takovou, odlišením od ostatních ADR a přístupem právníků. ? Druhá část se zabývá úpravou jiných států, kde je popsáno několik variant a systémů, jak může být mediace zapojena do právního systému daného státu. ? Nejdůležitější součástí diplomové práce je popis právní úpravy mediace v České republice a zamyšlení nad její budoucností. ? Ve čtvrté části jsou uvedeny a rozebrány některé konkrétní nebo modelové situace mediace na kterých je konkrétně ukázáno fungování mediace, výhody a vztah k soudnímu řízení.

Práce pojednává o managementu rizika s důrazem na management rizika produktu. V teoretické části je popsán proces managementu rizika, který je poté v praktické části aplikován na konkrétní výrobek. V procesu managementu rizika produktu je využita metoda FMECA.

The thesis deals with the loss of customers in the subject of tourism Camping Praha Klánovice. The aim is to analyze the problem and to propose appropriate solutions of this problem, respectively to remove the main causes that cause declining attendance. The basic pillar for understanding the internal and external environment is the detailed strategic analysis, which is then supplemented by methods used to solve problems (Ishikawa diagram, Brainstorming, TOPSIS). The output of the thesis is to suggest solutions that will help again increase the attendance of this subject.

Práce srovnává dvě mezinárodní zprostředkování etnického konfliktu na Šrí Lance. První, vedené Indií v letech 1983 - 1987 a druhé, iniciované Norskem v letech 2000 - 2002. Seznamuje čtenáře s pozadím etnického konfliktu na ostrově a jeho vývojem do začátku indického zprostředkování. Detailně analyzuje průběh indické a norské mediace. Na základě teoretického rámce stanovuje determinanty úspěšné mediace. Pomocí nichž pak dochází k závěrům reflektujícím příčiny neúspěchu indické mediace a příčiny částečného úspěchu mediace vedené Norskem.

This thesis concentrates on the new role of African union (AU) as regional player in conflict resolution in Africa. Created in 2000 as heritage organisation after the not very successfull Organisation of african unity, AU took several measures in order to become a more effective actor in collective security and better suited for conflict resolution. In order to evaluate the perspectives and viability of AU as regional player in the security dimension, the thesis evaluates the case of the conflict in Darfur where AU plays a leading role in the efforts of the international community. Based on the theoretical framework of conflict resolution theory, it concentrates on the role of AU as regional player in conflict resolution and gives a glace into the topic of african regional organisations and their role in conflict resolution.

In my Master’s thesis, I want to concentrate on the problems of CRM systems. Utilization CRM is eventual solution for small enterprise in this complicated economic situation. The aim is selection and appointment the final product with the selected company and to extend and improve it further according to the client’s wishes. Efficient strategy of customer relation management is competitive advantage for each company and it's benefit for company and customer too.

( Mediator) The diploma thesis deals with the person mediator who is key and indispensable in the process of mediation. Mediation is currently an increasingly relevant topic as one of the alternative ways of resolving disputes. Its use in practice could help to reduce the number of cases that courts have to deal with. With growing interest in mediation, the mediator's profession is becoming publicly aware. The aim of the thesis was to analyze the mediator role in mediation in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into 6 chapters. The first chapter explains the concept of mediation, the status of mediator and the division of mediators into different types that occur in our territory. The mediator must meet the conditions for the exercise of the profession by law. The main one is the successful passing of the exam, which is described in more detail in the second chapter. An important role in mediation is played by fundamental principles such as volunteering, impartiality, and unbiased, confidentiality and informality. Their adherence is crucial to the profession of mediator. The mediator has certain rights and obligations under the law. Major duties include a duty of confidentiality. We study nonlinear evolutionary partial differential equations that can be viewed as a generalization of the heat equation where the temperature gradient is bounded but the heat flux is apriori only a measure. We consider this system in spatially periodic setting and use higher differentiability techniques to prove the existence and uniqueness of weak solution with integrable heat-flux for all values of the material parameter a. Under some more restrictive assumptions on a, we prove higher integrability of the heat flux. 1

This thesis deals with the design of a two-storey building in a frame wooden building system. The first floor is designed as a restaurant and its associated premises, the second floor is used for accommodation of people. Part of this work is the volume, layout and construction of the house and the drawing documentation of the building in the specified range. Part of this work is also the fire safety solution of the building, including technical fire protection report and fire safety drawings. The theoretical part describes the design of the guest house, there are calculations necessary for making the fire safety solution, and last but not least, it describes its own fire safety solution.
