Rodinné konstelace ředitelů škol / Family constellation of Headmasters

This Diploma thesis examines the issue of family constellations school directors. It explores the family constellation directors of different types of schools. Starts from the premise that school heads comes from a similar initial family environment and that there is no difference between family constellations directors of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. Basic starting point has become from research results of family constellations school principals in the Czech Republic, which uncover their characteristics.The theoretical part of the thesis starts with an explanation of basic terms, as well as maps of the individual differences-influence of heredity, family, education and environment. It also discusses the analysis of family constellations and their impact on the conduct and behavior of man. The research is based on a mixed research design. There is included both qualitative and quantitative phase of research. The entire research work is kept aim the work and research questions. They are looking for answers to what are the family constellation headmasters and if there is any similarity with head teachers and if there are differences in family constellations with directors of various types of schools. The aim of this thesis is to answer the following question: "Are school headmasters in different European countries comparable?" The author deals with the subject of further training of school headmasteres in the Czech Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany (Bavaria and North Rhine - Westphalia) and Scotland. With the help of selected research methods which were a questionnaire and interviews with headmasters he is trying to report on the opportunities of their further training in selected countries. The author finds out that further training of headmasters focuses primarily on managerial and vocational training. The necessity of further qualification of executives arises from the fact that nowadays headmasters have to meet a wide range of requirements in terms of their competence which they receive through good specialised training. The information obtained can serve as a model or methodological recommendation as in each country the managerial training follows different qualifying models. Resume Topic of this thesis is leadership. Its aim is to recapitulate theoretical frame of this subject, and to outline to what extent Czech people (for purposes of this thesis Czech internet users) are familiar with leadership concept in similar way which is presented by authors who write about it. This work is based on ideas of so-called classical management schools, and information about leadership takes not only from books of chosen Czech authors, but also from works of foreign specialists like Peter F. Drucker or John Adair. For theoretical frame are used also some management textbooks like works of Koontz and Weihrich or Vodáček and Vodáčková. My hypothesis and initiative for this work is that for Czech environment leadership still is not much usual concept. There was quantitative survey on sample of Czech population carried out. As the interviewing was done online, it is not possible to present it as fully representative however criterions for choosing respondents corresponded with representative sample of Czech population when considered demographical indicators like gender, age, region or size of residence. The work deals with Central School Association from its establishment in 1880 to its dissolution in 1951. At first it approaches social and political situation in the 80s of the 19th century, thus period of rise of national defensive organizations. After that it analyses the issue of the minority education. Subsequently it describes foundation of Central School Association and changes in its organization. It monitors activity of Central School Association in three stages and it focuses on period after 1918. In the end it shows cooperation of Central School Association with National Czech Council as an example their dispute regarding of the national stamp.

The thesis deals with the communication of class teacher with the parents in primary school. The current position of this topic within the Czech education system is examined. Educational programs and initiatives focusing on this area of teacher's work are studied. Specific forms of communication available to teachers are presented with their advantages and disadvantages. Four case studies and their final comparison examines teachers' approach to the selection of specific forms of communication and the formation of the overall structure of communication with parents. Case studies describe the forms of communication used by individual teachers. Sources of information about the possible forms of communication, as well as factors that influence the teachers are presented. Individual studies are evaluated in the context of the others and their common and different features are identified. The issue of training of future teachers in this area is discussed. Individual approach of teachers to this topic is observed.

The work is divided into two parts - a theoretical one and a practical one. The theoretical part introduces a general topic of the thesis and it is written by using an appropriate literature. It deals with the basic concepts of this topic: family, child and divorce. The practical part contains a qualitative research in order to investigate the reaction of children to the parental divorce and the changes that may occur in the area of the behaviour and the emotional experience, and in the area of the school work and the school results. This thesis describes Outdoor Sports Courses for the 2nd Grade of Basic Schools in Liberec Region. The theoretical part discusses the close topics such as activities and education at elementary schools or summer and winter outdoor sports courses. The goal of the thesis is to obtain information about outdoor sports courses for the 2nd Grade of chosen basic schools in Liberec Region, and to recommend instructions for the optimal course education. Two methods of interrogation were applied: a controlled interview with school principals and questionnaire for students in 9th grade of elementary schools. Based on the above-mentioned interrogation methods, the diversity of sports courses in nature was investigated. In addition, the issue of the course capacity or material issues and staffing at schools were investigated. The research also concentrates on the participation of students in the courses and the reasons of their non-participation as well as students' satisfaction with the selection of available courses. Based on the students' responses, the ranking of the most popular courses was created. The results of the investigation were incorporated into the overall statistics which provide a comprehensive assessment of the course education in chosen basic schools in the Liberec district. RESUMÉ V ANGLICKÉM JAZYCE The diploma thesis is focused on parts of speech in the Czech language in the lower primary school. Its aim is to chart it on the general level, to introduce their definition, their historical background and the selection into the word-classes. The theoretical section introduces the parts of speech as the common part of the language. It describes them on basis of the syntactic, semantic and morphological division. That is needed for concrete introduction and realisation of the individual parts of speech. For each word class there is also briefly showed how they are presented in contemporary Czech language textbooks for the lower primary school. The practical part focuses on introduction of new methods of teaching parts of speech mainly through games and unconventional tools. The games contain rules, time management, tools and number of pupils involved. Furthermore., there are the interviews with the teachers of the concrete lower primary school who had got to test the games and tools and summarizes their opinions. Title: Marketing communication of Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University in Prague Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current marketing communication of Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University in Prague and based on the obtained data to create proposals for the improvement of current marketing communication or suggest new instruments that will help to streamline existing marketing communication. Methods: To analyze the current marketing mix of the faculty is used a qualitative research in the form of group discussions with current students of the faculty and pre-prepared written questioning for the staff of the Marketing department of the faculty. This diploma thesis deals with factors which influenced successful Roma college graduates. It tries to reveal what are the reasons why these Roma people managed to defy statistics and get a college diploma. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part it acquaints readers with professional literature and with its resources. Particular chapters pursue factors which have a direct connection with Roma education - Roma family, which strongly determines children's value system, Roma traditions and customs, Roma language, basic legislation and famous Roma personalities. The practical part, using a questionnaire, tries to determine the most important factors which influenced Roma college graduates during their lives. The goal of the research is to find out whether and to what extent particular factors interfered with academically successful Roma people's decision making. From the research part, it is apparent that the two main factors were positive motivation from their parents and a vision of a higher salary.
