The goal of the thesis is to propose an opinion regarding the accession to the eurozone supported by the analysis of the related benefits and constraints in connection with the current economic and political situation. Allowing to get an idea of what the benefits and downsides of euro adoption would be for them, the gathering of information and arguments suitable for entrepreneurs, managers and citizens is the sought outcome of the work. The issue was analysed both quantitatively and qualitatively with the help of the SWOT analysis, optimum currency area theory and analysis of macroeconomic indicators. To achieve a more comprehensive understanding, also political programmes of the political parties represented in the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament were analysed. The contribution of the thesis lies in providing a comprehensive insight into issues regarding the euro while assessing the current situation and indicating the closest possible date for euro adoption.

The aim of the dissertation is to evaluate marketing strategy of the brand Ceresit and its product line STOP Humidity (STOP Vlhkosti). The theoretical part defines fundamental concepts such as marketing and strategy, furthermore, it describes the steps of strategic marketing process. Also, the dissertation introduces Henkel, the brand Ceresit STOP Humidity and its product portfolio. The practical part involves internal and external analysis, however, it primarily focuses on the elements of marketing mix of the brand Ceresit STOP Humidity. As for methodology, particularly field research and content analysis are used throughout the study. Finally, SWOT analysis is employed to summarize key outcomes followed by author's recommendations resulting from the research.

The aim of this Master´s Thesis is a strategic analysis of the company Český národní podnik s.r.o. It consists of external and internal analysis on the base of the strategic recommendations are made. The thesis itself is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the first one there is described the methodology. The second one is built on practical analysis. Analysis of external environment is consists of PESTLE analysis, Porter´s model of five competitive forces and description of the field. Internal analysis is built on application of VRIO analysis, value chain analysis, financial and portfolio analysis. Synthesis is carried out using the SWOT analysis. Final strategic recommendations are focused on the supporting the strengths of the company based on SWOT analysis and exploit the perspective opportunities.

The main topic of my thesis is the problem of monitoring business cycles. Composite leading indicators are one of the options, how to make this monitoring. In my thesis I am going inside of the process of construction of composite leading indicator. I am comparing the methods of OECD, Eurostat and Conference Board. Special attention is dedicated to the methods of czech institutions as well. These methods are still being evolved and improved, which makes the analysis more difficult. Together with all the information about business cycle and economic policy in Czech republic between 1993-2015. I am judgeing the functionality of leading indicators for the monitoring of business cycle. Method of my analysis is SWOT analysis so the result of this thesis is mentioning of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threaths of the making and application of composite leading indicators.
