創設實用之非小說書籍平臺 / Business plan – A platform for non-fiction book summaries

The venture addresses the common phenomenon of people having no time or not being able to concentrate to read lengthy business and personal development books. This represents a dilemma for many professionals, students and many other people alike because the demands in the realms of professional and working skills surge continuously, driven by global competition and increasing social and economic dynamics. The company aims to solve this problem through offering highly condensed summaries of business, personal development and eventually spiritual books on an intuitive e-commerce web-platform. The summaries rely heavily on visualization techniques following the venture’s unique and proprietary summarization guidelines. A key feature of the summaries is their quality – think of the level of professional consulting presentations. Summaries are monetized through individual and subscription sales via B2C and B2B channels and mainly marketed to white collar working professionals and students in first and second world economies. The business model is a push model, where content is created to satisfy a presumed demand. A pull model, where users generate content on a provided platform, entails interesting advantages and elements of this idea might be incorporated at a later stage. The financial projections are characterized by two years of negative cash flows, which stem from initial investments in the summary database, building the platform and brand, followed by strong positive inflows as user numbers grow. The projected 5-year NPV in the baseline scenario and a 35,000 USD investment in year 1 is 320,000 USD at a 20% discount rate while the IRR is close to 100%. Key risks pertain to quality of summaries, relationships with key content creators and the challenge to create momentum.

建構具有語意隱私偏好保護平臺 / Constructina a Semantics-Enabled P3P Privacy Protection

為了確保個人資料的隱私,本研究期望可以建構一個在主從式架構的環境中,利用語意網技術來改善現有的個人隱私偏好平臺(P3P)。透過語意網中的本體論和規則的加入希望可以提昇個人隱私偏好平臺的正規語意,來實現具有語意的個人隱私保護規範架構,確保使用者不會有解讀錯誤的情況發生,讓網站的資料使用規範,可以更符合使用者的意圖,讓原本使用者需仔細詳讀的隱私規範書,可以透過一簡單的協議過程去加以簡化閱讀隱私規範書的步驟。 / In this study I’m going to build an environment with client-server architecture and utilize Semantic Web Technology to improve the existing platform for privacy preferences (P3P) in order to ensure the privacy of personal information. With the ontology and rules of Semantic Web hopefully it will upgrade personal privacy preferences formal semantics to achieve the semantic of personal privacy protection framework to ensure that users will not misunderstand. The usage of web site information can be more in line with the user's intentions, so that the original user were required to carefully read the privacy specification can be implemented through a simple process which simplified the steps of reading privacy specification.

O2O教育模式應用於國中補校英語教學之個案研究 ─以教育部英語線上學習平臺為例 / A case study of employing O2O education on English teaching in the supplementary junior high school -using English online learning platform of the ministry of education an example

研究旨在探討《O2O教育模式應用於國中補校英語教學之個案研究─以教育部英語線上學習平臺》為例,對國中補校學生英語學習成效及可行性。本研究採取行動研究法進行教學與觀察,以新北市立越界高級中學三年級36位學生做為研究對象。教學前、後測透過GEPT全民英檢網「全民英語能力分級檢定測驗-初級」了解學生進行O2O教育模式教學後是否有所差異;教學期間教材、教學現場紀錄、教學省思札記、錄影、訪談等多元方式觀察與紀錄學生協同學習的表現情形、參與態度以及師生的互動關係等,同時參考學生在校兩次段考成績分析《O2O教育模式應用於國中補校英語教學》教學結果,並針對教學過程、教學結果、晤談來分析《O2O教育模式應用於國中補校英語教學之個案研究─以教育部英語線上學習平臺》對國中補校學生英語學習成效及可行性,最後進行資料分析與討論。本研究結果可歸納下列四項結論: 一、Cool English線上學習平臺及教材內容適合個案研究補校學生程度。 二、O2O教育模式增加線下課程(offline)的學習效益。 三、O2O教育模式發現學習者學習動機更為強烈。 四、應用O2O教育模式在補校學生英語教學,可顯著提升學生學習成效。 / This study discusses subsidiary junior high school students’ English learning effect and feasibility via “A Case Study on the O2O Educational Model Applied to Subsidiary Junior High School’s English Teaching – by the Ministry of Education’s Online English Learning Platform.” In this study, teaching and observation were carried out by action research on the study objects of 36 third grade students of Yueh Chieh Senior High School in New Taipei City. Before and after teaching, the “General English Proficiency Test – Elementary Level” on the GEPT website was used to understand whether students are different after being taught by the O2O educational model. Multiple methods such as teaching materials during teaching, teaching scene records, teaching reflection notes, recording and interviews were used to observe and record students’ performances, participation attitudes, and interactions with teachers during collaborative learning. Two school exam scores of each student were also taken for reference to analyze the teaching results of the “O2O Educational Model Applied to Subsidiary Junior High School’s English Teaching.” Besides, the teaching processes, results and interviews were used to analyze subsidiary junior high school students’ English learning effect and feasibility via “A Case Study on the O2O Educational Model Applied to Subsidiary Junior High School’s English Teaching – by the Ministry of Education’s Online English Learning Platform.” Finally, data analysis and discussion were carried out. The study results were induced into four conclusions as follows: 1.The Cool English online learning platform and teaching materials suitable for a case study of subsidiary school students’ level. 2.O2O educational model increased offline's course's learning effect. 3.Via the O2O educational model, it found that learners have stronger learning motives. 4.Applying the O2O educational model to subsidiary school students’ learning significantly increased student’s learning effects.
