Gouvernance des flux logistiques en contexte d'économie circulaire : le cas des acteurs de la filière bioalimentaire en France et au Cameroun / The management of logistic flows in the context of the circular economy : case of the actors of the bio-food sector in France and Cameroon

Edzengte Edzengte, Joseph 13 December 2018 (has links)
The complexity of the spatial dynamics of material and energy flows in a circular economy context opens the debate on the interpretation of the interacting factors in the sustainable usage of resources throughout the product life's cycle. For our purposes, the circularity of bio-food flows is reflected in local logistics networks. In this context, these networks are presented as new ways of structuring processes, flow circuits and interconnections between actors. Therefore, in order to save resources, most local logistics networks opt for a flexible organization, a minimal hierarchy, and decentralized decision-making centers with clearly established roles. Flow management is based on this structural flexibility and enable the integration of all processes, activities and actors throughout the product life's cycle. This desire to "act together" is deployed in a process of public-private decompartmentalization where the different actors mingle and interact, each one exercising in his own way a function of "manager" and having a capacity of intervention (legal, media or social).

Schmidt, Serje 16 February 2006 (has links)
In marketing history, there has been no revolution as impacting as Internet. Products whose buying decision is based on information, whose distribution can be made using the Web, whose value can be added by Internet commerce and whose clients have Internet access, are taking advantage of the new media. Among those, tourism products are typically included. Hotels that for a long time practice their commerce through tour operators, now faced the tourist directly:establishing final process, processing reservations and saving commissions. On the other hand, the hotel physiognomy that the client is facing is through the Website. Then which characteristics a Website must have to take advantage of Internet. What is the result of each characteristic to the hotel? Internet professionals advocate that a complete website will provide competitive advantage to hotels, in terms of commerce and relationship programs. But is that so? The objective of this thesis is to verify the characteristics of hotels' websites of the south of Brazil and the Balearic Islands in Spain, evaluating its relationship with the hotelier's perception of website's results. As this investigation has an exploratory and causality approach, structural equations modeling (SEM) was used as part of its research method. A measurement model was developed and validated and a structural model generated to verify causal relations. One hundred sixty seven Brazilian and Spanish hotel websites were submitted to this model, which suggested that promotion is the only characteristic that is related to the perception of website result. Multimedia, printer-friendly content, accessibility, customer relations, privacy and security as well as service promptness did not present causal relations with result perception. This presents serious contradictions with the actual literature, and suggests that further investigations must be made to clarify this issue.

Concentración y competencia en la industria turística. Una perspectiva europea

Soler Domingo, Amparo 17 November 2003 (has links)
The Thesis presents a study of the concentration and competition through a Multi-disciplinary approach. Chapter one consists of an economic introductory theoretical analysis in the field of industrial economics. And Chapter two in the field of Law, through the European Commission's practice in the analysis of the case-law, covered by the European Community Merger Regulation - Council Regulation (EEC) Nº 4064/89.Chapters three and four examine the concentration and competition in the tourism industry sub - sectors. In the airline industry the thesis study the specific problems of competition: the airline alliances, the hub and spoke, slots. The hotel industry use franchising way and distribution contracts but high segmentation makes no important problems of competition On distribution sector the tour operator follow the strategy of vertical integration and horizontal expansion that are intricately linked. The study confirms the market structure are heterogeneous on each analysed subsectors for this reason there are different types of competition. This situation gives us analytical difficulties. The tourist product is complex and the anticompetitive practices in some of its components makes effects over the whole sector. Finally, from the point of view of the European Commission and after analyse fifty nine decisions in the tourist sector under the merger control, we can concrete there is a implicit hypothesis that shows the competition in the tourist sector has its own correspondence with the competition in the subsectors. The study notice that there are not relevant competition problems. It doesn't mean that in the future is going to be like this.

East Timor's socio economic development under Indonesia (1976-1999)

Gomes, Rui Augusto January 2002 (has links)
East Timor had been a colony of Portugal for more than four centuries when Indonesia invaded it in 1975 and began its occupation of twenty-four years. Indonesia imposed its strategy of economic development, pembangunan, with the primary objective of 'modernising' this newly occupied territory which was regarded as daerah ketinggalan (a 'backward' region) - a legacy of Portuguese colonialism. According to the Indonesian perspective, East Timor would, in the end, become daerah maju (a 'developed' region) like the twenty-six other provinces in Indonesia. In order to 'modernise' the economy and society, Jakarta transferred approximately US$1 billion into East Timor during the occupation period. Much was achieved in terms of physical infrastructure such as roads and buildings. Real GDP growth rate in East Timor averaged 5.6% during the 1983-1996 p~riod. This was above the Indonesian average over the same period. This growth wa~ not without cost, however, as human suffering also increased. For purposes of companson, East Timor was the lowest in terms of the human development index (HDI) in Asia, and identical to that of the Central African state of Rwanda. The main objective of this study is therefore to analyse the New Order's strategy of economic development by critically assessing the processes and outcome of development brought to bear upon the East Timorese economy and society. Since the Indonesian development strategy was imposed upon the East Timorese, its character could not be anything other than authoritarian. The thirteen-year 'closure' period (1976- 1989) turned East Timor into a cauldron of increasing terror and suffering. However, it also encouraged rent-seeking activities and enlarged potential monopoly .rents, which ended up in the pockets of some military groups and a few East Timorese 'loyalists'. One of the major problems faced in conducting this study was to find reliable information; and unfortunately this problem also characterises our current knowledge of the East Timorese society and economy. Indeed, East Timor has become a major focus of attention for specialists in international relations, as well as social scientists, particularly after the Santa Cruz massacre in 1991. Yet, little has been written on the impact of Indonesian development strategy upon the East Timorese economy and society. This lack remains to the present day - to which this study contributes. Consequently, this study utilises data from a household survey that was conducted in Liquica, the smallest district in East Timor and one of the coffee-producing areas. To the author's knowledge, this survey breaks new ground in trying to generate data on the rural household, as well as in trying to understand poverty and inequality at the household level, which despite its limited sa.mple, might also shed light on the issues facing by other households across East Timo:. GIven the nature of the present study, an interdisciplinary approach is adopted. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part consists of three chapters: the introduction, a theoretical analysis and an overview of East Timor's colonial history. The second part, t~e main body of the study, consists of four chapters: pembangunan in Indonesia's recent history, the impact of pembangunan on East Timor's economy, human development and examination of the findings of the household survey.
