Vztah lékař a nezletilý pacient - trestněprávní aspekty / Legal relationship between a doctor and minor patient - criminal aspectsHlaváčová, Kateřina January 2015 (has links)
Relationship between a doctor and a minor patient - criminal aspects. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the criminal aspects of the relationship between a doctor and a minor patient. I chose this topic because I grew up in a family of doctors and I had listened to the problems that my relatives as doctors had to solve. This thesis is composed of twelve chapters, which are divided into sections and subsections. The first part of my thesis describes and analyzes the sources of law and basic concepts which are used in legal literature and also in legislation. Due to the specific relationship between a doctor and a minor patient lying in the fact that a minor patient must be represented by his parents in some cases, the third chapter analyzes the conduct of the child as one of the vertices of an imaginary triangle (doctor - child - parents). In chapter four, I focused on description of all kinds of legal liability, which are typical for this area of law. The main focus of my thesis consists of chapters five, six and seven. In these chapters I in detail analyzed criminal liability, firstly in general, secondly criminal liability of doctors and in the last mentioned chapter I discusses further about criminal acts in the context of healthcare. I realize that I couldn't have succeeded in covering...

Minoritní strukturní proteiny polyomavirů: Vlastnosti a interakce s buněčnými strukturami / Minor Structural Proteins of Polyomaviruses: Attributes and Interactions with Cellular StructuresVinšová, Barbora January 2016 (has links)
Even though polyomaviruses have been intensively studied for more than 60 years, the role of minor structural proteins VP2 and VP3 in some important steps of viral life cycle has still not been fully elucidated, explicitly their role in viral genome delivery to the cell nucleus and their involvement in late phases of viral life cycle. This diploma thesis focuses on the study of minor proteins of Mouse polyomavirus (MPyV) and Human polyomavirus BK (BKV). Four rabbit polyclonal antibodies against minor proteins of polyomaviruses MPyV or BKV have been prepared within this diploma thesis. Two of these prepared antibodies target minor proteins of MPyV (α-MPyV VP2/3) or BKV virus (α-BKV VP2/3), other two prepared antibodies recognize C-terminal sequence common to minor proteins VP2 and VP3 of MPyV (α-MPyV C-termVP2/3) or BKV virus (α-BKV C-termVP2/3). In the second part of this diploma thesis we aimed to study toxicity of BKV virus minor proteins during individual production in mammalian cells. Obtained results suggest that minor proteins of BKV virus might not exhibit as high levels of cytotoxicity as minor proteins of MPyV virus. Third part of this diploma thesis is devoted to investigation of interactions of BKV and MPyV minor proteins with cellular proteins and within one another respectively....

Právní aspekty poskytování zdravotní péče nezletilým / Legal aspects of provision of health care to minorsBlažková, Michaela January 2016 (has links)
AJ Health care is very important part of our lives, therefore legal regulation of providing health care deserves more attention. Specialist publications mostly engaged legislation of providing health services, without contradiction, who is recipient of health care and regulation of status minor doesn't get attention like should have. Minor has special legal status, that is why legal aspects of providing health care is specific too. Related with development of private law many changes happened, which also showed in legal status of underage patient, therefore goal of my thesis is to tender comprehensive view of legislation about minor patient status at provision health care. Thesis is divided into the five main chapters. First chapter provides a comprehensive overview about sources of regulation in selected topic and describe mutual connection some of law regulation. The second part is focused on rights and corresponding duties minor patient, his parents and doctors while providing medical care. In this chapter is considerable attention given to the institute of informed consent minor patient and conditions of his grant. Third part of my work is related to second part and is trying to outline solving of problematic situation, which can happen during providing medical care to minor patient .Fourth...

Diverzifikace činností zemědělských podniků v postindustriálním období / Diversification of the activities of agricultural holdings in the post-industrial periodEretová, Veronika January 2013 (has links)
The thesis deals with diversification of the activities of agricultural holdings. The purpose of diversification is to keep and also create new jobs in the rural areas, keep or even increase farm income and contribute to the recovery of the villages/rural communities. It may lead to the stabilization of the rural population, increase in quality of their lives and the competitiveness of agricultural holdings. Its main objective is to analyze extend and importance of diversification in the whole Czechia and also in the model area of ORP Kralovice. It also aims to determine the influence of diversification on the rural development and employment in the rural areas. Then it intends to evaluate the importance of diversification for concrete agricultural holdings in the model area and to find out which are the most common/frequent diversification activities. At first thesis defines the concept of diversification, its typology, motives for diversification and factors, which it affects. It describes the development of minor/affiliated production and diversification activities before and after 1989 in the specific environment of Czechia. The thesis also deals with the analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of non- agricultural activities. Finally the concept of diversification is...

Vítovcová, A.: Biological activity of secondary plants metabolites IV. Alkaloids of Vinca minor L. Diploma thesis, Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Botany and Ecology, Hradec Králové 2016. Extract of Vinca minor L. was separated to fractions in column chromatography. Flash chromatography, preparative TLC and crystalisation led to isolation of two alkaloids from fraction number two and number five. Alkaloids were identified by GC/MS as (+)-vincaminorine and vincorine. These alkaloids were tested for their inhibition activity towards cholinesterase (AChE and BuChe). Obtained activities IC50 were compared with standards (galanthamine, huperzine A). The most interesting activity against galanthamine (AChE 1,710 ± 0,065 µM, BuChE 42,30 ± 1,30 µM) and huperzine A (AChE 0,033 ± 0,001 µM, BuChE > 1000 µM) showed vincorine (AChE > 1000 µM, BuChE 9,75 ± 0,45 µM). His activity toward BuChE is higher than the activity of both standards. Inhibition activities of (+)-vincaminorine (AChE 746,5 ± 84,13 µM, BuChE 684,32 ± 70,66 µM) are negligible. Key words: Alzheimerʼs disease, cholinesterase, Apocynaceae, Vinca minor L., indole alkaloids

Biologická aktivita sekundárních metabolitů rostlin VI. Alkaloidy Vinca minor L. / Biological aktivity of secondary plants metabolites VI. Alkaloids of Vinca minor L.Kučerová, Jana January 2016 (has links)
1 ABSTRACT Kučerová J.: Biological activity of secondary plants metabolites VI. Alkaloids of Vinca minor L. Diploma thesis, Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Department of pharmaceutical botany and ecology, Hradec Králové 2016, 67 pages. Isolation of alkaloids was done from extract of Vinca minor, family Apocynaceae. Individual substances obtained were examined for their ability to inhibit human acetylcholinesterase and butyrylcholinesterase. The basic extract was after an initial extraction with 95% ethanol pre-purified by extraction with chloroform. This chloroform extract was divided further by column chromatography on a total of 531 fractions. The fractions obtained were, based on the similarities identified by thin layer chromatography, interconnected in a final number of 17 fractions. The mobile phase for column chromatography were mixtures of chloroform and medical gasoline, chloroform and ethanol, and ethanol itself. For further testing were used fractions number 2 and 5. From the fraction 2 was by preparative thin layer chromatography and subsequent crystallization isolated substance number 1. After analysis of this substance by GC/MS was found that it is a (+) - vincaminorein. Further was examined it's biological activity towards cholinesterases, which found a...

Miljömedvetenhet på Seychellerna : en studie om invånarnas egna uppfattning angående tillgänglighet av information om miljöproblem / Environmental awareness in Seychelles : study of the inhabitants' self-assessed awareness and perceptions regarding availability of information on environmental issuesAspenfelt, Emelie, Pettersson, Rebecka January 2015 (has links)
This study is a result of a participation in the Minor Field Study program where we interviewed inhabitants in Mahé, Seychelles, about environmental awareness and information sources and/or channels. Seychelles has a distinguished environment to preserve and protect for the sake of both human and nature and public awareness plays an important part in upholding this. Our aim with this thesis is to study the inhabitants' self-assessed awareness and perceptions regarding availability of information on environmental issues in Seychelles. Furthermore we hope that a by-product of our study will be an addition to the ongoing discussion and knowledge development regarding the global environmental and climate issues. Seven semi-structured interviews were conducted and T. D. Wilson's information behaviour model from 1996 was used as theoretical framework when analysing the material. The results show a varied range of self-assessed awareness and perceptions regarding environmental issues and the availability of relevant information and information sources and/or channels.

"Jag blev galen i den där boken" : En studie av vietnamesiska barns syn på läsning / "I got mad about that book" : A study of Vietnamese children's views on readingÅberg, Sofia January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this Bachelor thesis and Minor Field Study is, from the perspective of the Vietnamese children at The General Science Library in Ho Chi Minh City, to obtain a deeper understanding of the ways in which the reading environment of The Children's Room supports children's interest in reading and their reading experience. It is assumed that reading is a dynamic and social activity made possible by internal and external conditions. In this context limited freedom of expression is one of the external conditions that is taken into consideration. In order to obtain understanding of Vietnamese children's experiences of reading, I used Aidan Chambers' model of The Reading Circle as a theoretical framework. The methods used in this study were semi-structured interviews with Vietnamese young people at the library, four girls and five boys, aged between 10 and 15 years. The children in this study describe two types of reading experiences: 1) reading that gives feelings of excitement and joy, and makes them want to reread a book, talk about it with others, think of it, remember and analyse it. And 2) reading they describe as developing, either spiritually or intellectually, a form of reading for improvement. Four reading environments are identified that both enable and obstruct reading experiences, their homes, school, library and the bookstore. Primarily, The Children's Room enables reading.
