The aim of diploma thesis is design and lay-out of high pressure pumping station with plunger pumps for splash of scales from slabs of hot-rolled. Theoretic (introduction) part of this thesis contain description of formation of scales and description of ways how it is possible remove these scales. And this part contains also explication of effect of water jet on solid material. The practical part of diploma thesis is focused on design of pumping station including of dimensioning of machinery. Part of this work is also technical documentation for proposed pumping station and specification of main machines and devices.

This thesis deals with the installation of modern high pressure injection common rail system to six-cylinder tractor engine. This system replaces injection system with in-line fuel injection pump. Common Rail system installation on an existing engine is designed with minimal design changes to the engine block and engine head. It is advantageous to minimize production costs of the transition to high-pressure injection system. The thesis contains the design and stress analysis of the new component for high-pressure injection system.

This thesis covers the design and the construction of vehicle, which is powered by pressured fluid. The vehicle has driving system based on mechanical – hydraulic recuperation of kinetic energy during braking of vehicle. Her secondary part is used only by the start of vehicles. The thesis describes possibilities of kinetic energy recovery and in more detail explaines kinetic energy recovery with use of hydraulic systems and their practice use. The main part of the thesis contains a design of hydromobil with demonstration of individual options in outline. The selection of the whole hydraulic connection and transmission is described in detail as well as the construction of particular components of the vehicle.

The second part describes the design of hydromobile with emphasis on the chassis, especially the driving and braking system. Additional information on the individual parts of the chassis, that are put through the stress analysis. The final part deals with the actual manufacturing of the hydromobile and is followed by the resume of the thesis.

It seeks to define the methods of accumulation, which can be used in industrial applications and define the conditions for the use of storage systems in electric power systems with extended penetration of renewable energy sources. In the context of current developments in this field is analyzed detail one of the perspective storage systems - Vanadium Redox Battery (VRB). One of the outcomes of this work is economic and energy analysis of storage systems, which are conceived with a disproportion between production and consumption of energy.
