Působení reklamních sdělení na cílovou skupinu / The influence of advertising messages on the target audience

The diploma thesis deals with the influence which the advertising messages have on the target audience. In the theoretical part I analyze the way in which people are deciding. I emphasize the growing role of emotions. Furthermore I describe recommendations how to create textual and visual parts of the advertising messages. In the practical part I verify how these recommendations actually influence the selected group. For this purpose I use the group interview. In addition I make interviews with professionals to clarify if the early mentioned recommendations are applicable in practise.

<p>Today we live in a more or less globalized society where borders do not pose the same obstacle as before. This is why it is interesting to examine whether different countries have similar views on how to communicate with a specific audience</p><p><strong>Purpose: </strong>The purpose of this thesis is to use the data gathered to inform businesses with information. The information can then be used to assist companies when it comes to advertising, the design of messages and the choice of media channels when communicating with people born during the 80’s. Furthermore, the investigation intends to find out if there really is a global market for people born during the 80’s.</p><p><strong>Method:</strong> The authors believe that a purely quantitative or qualitative approach is not appropriate. For this reason a combination of these two approaches is used in order solve the problem.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>When communicating to people born during the 80’s the messages should be simple and quick and the arguments used should be more of the holistic kind. When it comes to the choice of media channels the Internet and its tools are the obvious choices of today. The key is to capture the target group directly and also to engage the audience in question. There is a suggestion that it is a global market for people born during the 80’s and that communication can be standardized. The authors cannot confirm with certainty that it is indeed a global market since the spread of respondents cannot be considered to be exhaustive. However, the authors argue that Europe and North America have similar ideas when it comes to message and choice of channels when communication is intended for consumers born during the'80s.</p>

Percepción de los mensajes publicitarios durante la crisis de Gloria para la renovación de confianza / Advertising messages perception during the crisis of gloria for the trust renewal

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal analizar la percepción de los mensajes publicitarios que difundió la marca Gloria durante el manejo de crisis para renovar la confianza en mujeres de 36 a 56 años en Lima Metropolitana. Este estudio es relevante porque, aunque la crisis haya sucedido en el 2017, los mensajes publicitarios de Gloria con el fin de restaurar la confianza se han continuado emitiendo hasta la actualidad. Además, no existen investigaciones previas que aborden la crisis mencionada, analizando las categorías de mensajes publicitarios, gestión de crisis y renovación de confianza. La metodología utiliza un enfoque cualitativo. Se empleó como estudio de caso la crisis de Pura vida, marca del grupo Gloria, y se realizaron tres focus groups. La presente investigación concluye que los mensajes publicitarios del tipo producto emitidos por Gloria en la fase inicial de la crisis fueron percibidos negativamente por las participantes, afectando así la confianza de las consumidoras. Posteriormente, los mensajes de la etapa de postcrisis de tipo testimonial e institucional fueron percibidos positivamente por las participantes, contribuyendo a reconstruir la confianza. Sobre la gestión de crisis de la marca Gloria, se concluye que al principio fue percibida como improvisada; sin embargo, en la fase de postcrisis se realizaron acciones que fueron percibidas como más cercanas, siendo la etapa más recordada por las consumidoras. Finalmente, tras un trabajo a largo plazo, según las consumidoras, se ha logrado reconstruir la confianza en la marca y el consumo de sus productos lácteos se ha retomado. / The main objective of this research is to analyze the perception of the advertising messages that the Gloria brand issued during crisis management to renew confidence in women between 36 and 56 years from Metropolitan Lima. This study is relevant because, although the crisis occurred in 2017, Gloria's advertising messages in order to restore trust have continued to be issued up to the present time. Also, there is no previous research that addresses the aforementioned crisis, analyzing the advertising messages, crisis management and confidence renewal categories. The methodology uses a qualitative approach. The crisis of Pura vida, a Gloria's group brand, was used as a case study, and three focus groups were carried out. This research concludes that the product-type advertising messages issued by the Gloria brand in the initial phase of the crisis were negatively perceived by the participants, thus affecting the consumers' confidence. Subsequently, the testimonial and institutional messages of the post-crisis stage were positively perceived by the participants, helping to rebuild trust. Regarding the crisis management of the Gloria brand, it is concluded that at the beginning it was perceived as improvised; however, in the post-crisis phase, actions were carried out that were perceived as closer, being the stage most remembered by consumers. Finally, after long-term work, according to consumers, the trust in the brand has been rebuilt and consumption of its dairy products has resumed. / Tesis

How the advertinsing is intrinsically related to cultural habits and behaviour tendencies, through the study of better understanding of the signal relations which are formed by cultural interferences. The research has considered the hypotheses of the landscapes created on the advertising pieces take the privilage, from one side, the individuality as a generator concept of the unity of the automobile, on the other hand, the plurality with the idea of achieveness of exhibition. The other hypothesis is about the idea of spacial escape idea versus the simbolic run away of the urban daily life. The paper was structered in a way to make possible: identification of the present diversities in the corpus, thought about the automobile representations in the post-modern society and dialogical possibilities, base don Mikhail Bakhtin concept, among many structures existing on the advertising pieces / O estudo está voltado ao exame da construção semiótica de conceitos de animização e de superdimensionamento do tempo e do espaço, nas mensagens de automóveis de peças publicitárias impressas. Como a forma de atuação da publicidade está intrinsecamente relacionada a hábitos culturais e a tendências comportamentais, propõe-se por meio do estudo melhor entendimento das relações sígnicas que se formam a partir de interferências culturais. A pesquisa partiu das hipóteses de que os cenários criados nas peças publicitárias privilegiam, de um lado, a individualidade como conceito gerador de unicidade do automóvel, e de outro, a pluralidade, com a idéia de conquista, de exibição. A outra hipótese diz respeito à idéia de fuga espacial versus fuga simbólica da vida cotidiana urbana. В аспекте глобализации вопрос локализации рекламных сообщений для крупных международных компаний приобретает особое значение. В связи с этим, встает вопрос о создании универсальной методики выбора подходов к локализации, используя имеющуюся информацию об этнических, территориально-географических, исторических и политических особенностях страны. В данной работе были рассмотрены сущность и причины локализации рекламных сообщений крупными международными компаниями, изучены основные подходы к локализации, а также сложности, с которыми сталкиваются международные компании в процессе локализации. Был выполнен сравнительный анализ подходов к локализации рекламных сообщений крупными международными компаниями и определены наиболее эффективные подходы к локализации и их элементы в международной рекламе. Также при помощи разработанной методики были изучены особенности локализации рекламных сообщений в Катаре и проведен анализ использования элементов различных подходов в рекламных сообщениях, локализованных для рынка Катара. Было выявлено, что наиболее часто используемыми элементами подходов к локализации международных рекламных сообщений в рамках рассмотренных отраслей являются элементы территориально-географического и этнического подходов, а эффективность использования тех или иных элементов сильно варьируется в зависимости от отрасли, в которой крупная международная компания осуществляет свою деятельность. Были разработаны рекомендации по использованию подходов к локализации международных компаний-спонсоров FIFA 2022. / The issue of localization of advertising messages for large international companies is of particular importance. In this regard, arises the question of creating a universal methodology for choosing approaches to localization, using available information about the ethnic, territorial, geographical, historical and official capabilities of countries. In this paper, the main approaches to localization were considered, as well as problems arose with international companies in the localization process. A comparative analysis of approaches to the localization of advertising messages was carried out and the most effective approaches to localization and their elements in international advertising were identified. In addition, special methods for the localization of advertising messages in Qatar were developed and an analysis of the use of various approaches in advertising messages localized for the Qatar market was carried out. It was revealed that the most frequently used elements are dependent on the industry in which a large international company is involved in its activities. FIFA 2022 provided recommendations on the use of approaches to localization of international sponsor companies.
