Vliv fenoménu post-aktivační potenciace na ukazatele výkonu při krátkém sprintu z nízkého startu / The influence of PAP phenomenon on performance indicators in sprint from crouch start

Horák, Jan January 2021 (has links)
Title: Evaluation of post-activation potentiation effect on performance indicators of sprint following crouch start Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the influence of post- activation potentiation phenomenon on sprinter step performance indicators following crouch start by using Optojump system. Secondary objectives are firstly - to complile systematic up-to-date review based on recently published evidence, and secondly - to compare acquired results with current trends described in this review. Methods: Fifteen (n = 15) moderate to well trained male athletes completed the experimental procol of controlled sprints (20 m), activation of post-activation potentiation / post-activation performance enhancement elicited by series of squats (3 series, 5 repetition, load of 75 % of 1RM, resting interval 2 mins). Following the activation, all participants completed 1x20 m of sprinting performance from crouch start at 5 min, 10 min, 20 min and 40 min. All measurments were made by using the Optojump system. Acquired measurments were further analyzed and statistically evaluated. Results: Evaluation of acquired data did not result in significant positive effect of activation protocol on measured variables. Furthemore, series of squats were associated with decreased peak velocity and...

Akcelerace algoritmů pro hledání triplexů v DNA sekvencích / Acceleration of Algorithms for Triplex Detection in DNA Sequences

Weiser, Michal January 2012 (has links)
Triplex forms of DNA act as main factors of some important cell functions. However, their positions within genome and their effect on cell functions are not known well. Triplex search algorithms often don't consider many of triplexs features and the possibility of occurrence of errors. In the other hand the complexity of full featured algorithms is extremely high. This paper shows the way to speed up the algorithm that considers all known triplex features. Parallel aproach allows due to CUDA technology acceleration up to 50.

Hardwarová akcelerace šifrování síťového provozu / Hardware Accelerated Encryption of Network Traffic

Novotňák, Jiří January 2010 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to draft and implement high-speed encryptor of network trafic with throughput 10Gb/s in one way. It has been implementated for FPGA Xilinx Virtex5vlx155t placed on card COMBOv2-LXT. The encryption is based on AES algorithm using 128 bit key length. The security protokol is ESP in version for protokol IPv4. Design is fully synthesizable with tool Xilinx ISE 11.3, however it is not tested on real hardware. Tests in simulation works fine.

Předčasné zahájení školní docházky u rozumově akcelerovaných dětí / Early initation of school attendance for intellectually accelerated children

RÁČKOVÁ, Zdeňka January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the submitted diploma thesis is to find and describe how parents look back on the early school attendance in their intellectualy gifted children, what parents led to this decision and what were the reactions of the neighbourhood. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with topics related to the issues of talent, developmental acceleration and premature start of school attendance. The theoretical part is divided into three major parts-the first one is dedicated to talent, its definitions and developmental acceleration and also the relationship between talent, intelligence and heredity. Some models of talents are also mentioned here. The second part deals with the gifted child, its characteristics and asynchrony in its development. The last part focuses on the initiation of education in children with accelerated cognitive development, school maturity and readiness and the possibility of acceleration in education. The practical part is dedicated to qualitative research ivolving parents of six children who started school attendance early and at the same time were intellectually accelerated. Later talent in the intellecutal area was diagnosed in all children based on repeated examination in Pedagogical Psychological Counseling Office.

Akcelerace síťových karet v Linuxu / Network Interface Controller Offloading in Linux

Hlavatý, Ondřej January 2018 (has links)
Modern network interface controllers allow the host to offload packet processing to hardware in order to improve performance. At the present time, the advanced features are utilized in the Linux kernel by offloading the Traffic Control subsystem. Since this subsystem has been designed for a completely different purpose, its usage for hardware offloading is impractical and unreliable. Furthermore, in its current state the subsystem is not capable of utilizing all hardware features, which are often poorly documented. The presented work adopts a different approach to the problem. Five high-end controllers and their packet-processing pipelines were examined in detail. Accounting for their projected future development, common traits and features were identified. The researched information was used to draft a proposal for a new Linux subsystem, more compatible with hardware offloading than the current solution. The proposed subsystem defines a sufficiently descriptive interface to utilize the majority of hardware-offloaded features while avoiding common problems caused by excessively generalized approach of Traffic Control.

Wide Area Application Services / Wide Area Application Services

Šlambor, Jan January 2008 (has links)
This thesis is trying to appraise benefits of implementation Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) in the organization. It's a relatively new technology, which seeks to answer the question, how to maintain control over the ever-increasing volume of traffic. This constant increase is mainly due to the use of new applications and business processes. WAAS should transparently improve throughput, speed and ease of use of all applications in the organization. The question is if this technology can reduce costs, improve productivity, simplify data protection, or what manner it is compatible with the corporate infrastructure. If is really consolidating and pooling application infrastructure for remote branch back into the data center best current solution, which facilitates access to remote users, in same way to which they are accustomed from the Local Area Network (LAN). The next one sections of this work will be summarized findings on the principle of Cisco WAAS. How the technology works. What is main optimizing method and how is currently use in the organization. It's weaknesses and strengths against the largest suppliers of similar WAN optimization solutions. The next one section will carry out an analysis, which showed us results to determine which applications are suitable for optimization technology and statements for the policy, which will be applied to the applications. This raises so many questions to be answered. The outcome of this work will be whether this technology is really what the organization needs, and whether this technology is applicable to all or only for certain types of applications or application protocols.

Analýza rozjezdu a vybraných manévrů cyklistů / Analysis of Selected Manoeuvres of Bicyclists

Doseděl, Jan January 2017 (has links)
Master thesis titled “Analysis of selected manoeuvres of bicyclists” in the first part deals with the history of bicycles, construction, division of bicycles and introduces–traffic accidents of cyclists and national legislation. Practical measurements with bicyclists is in the second part of this thesis. Cyclists performed deceleration on three surfaces, acceleration and a manoeuver, in which cyclist looked behind himself before changing the direction. The evaluation of all measurements and comparison with other similar works has been made in the last chapters.
