OLAP sistemų analizė / The analysis of OLAP systems

Rukavičius, Valdas 25 May 2005 (has links)
The amount of information exchange is constantly growing. All this gathered data is a perfect material for analysis, although it is only partially used. Most common problem is the method how to organize this data to the form necessary for business analysis. Usually these functions are provided by decision support systems. These systems use functions and tool that are not flexible and cannot give the answers in real time. OLAP systems provide the ability to analyse data in all aspects online. OLAP technology includes tools and measures to transform and store information, create and execute queries as well as graphic user interface. As OLAP systems get more affordable to companies new issues are discussed. Main problems are how to choose the best OLAP products available in the marker and how to design and implement OLAP system according to business requirements. The aims of this work are to identify most important criterias and to compare different OLAP systems in product and data structure level and to design and implement OLAP system to Telecommunication Company according to the analysis results. The analysis of OLAP systems was divided into the analysis of OLAP products available in the market and the analysis of individual OLAP system. The analysis showed that the choice of OLAP products depends on software equipment and analysis capacities of the company, and separate OLAP system must be designed according to specific analysis needs. According to the analysis results... [to full text]

Možnosti analytických nástrojů v prostředí MS SQL Serveru

Mazáčová, Markéta January 2017 (has links)
The thesis compares the development time and performance of two types of Microsoft analytical models created in Visual Studio that are deployed on the local analytics servers and the Azure cloud server. Theoretical research will be summarizing business intelligence and data warehouses components, Microsoft tools for business intelligence realization and features using in-memory database technologies. The practical part introduces the AdventureWorks demonstration database, describes the implementation of both analytical models and compares both models with respect to the time-consuming development, performance and suitability of deployment.

Improving Staff Performance by Enhancing Staff Training Procedures and Organizational Behavior Management Procedures

McClelland, Dennis Martin, Jr. 07 July 2008 (has links)
The ability of direct care staff members to carry out behavior programs, specific protocols written by a behavior analyst, or recommendations made after completion of a functional behavioral assessment is an essential tool needed for such documents to actually be meaningful to patients. Since direct care staff members spend the most time directly working with patients, it is imperative that they carry out intervention procedures with reliability and fidelity. This study evaluated the effectiveness of staff training procedures as well as organizational behavior management techniques used to ensure that staff members are equipped with the tools they need and are properly motivated to carry out the proposed intervention procedures. Staff members received training on the Tools for Positive Behavior Change curriculum developed by the Behavior Analysis Services Program at the University of South Florida using a myriad of training techniques. Then, organizational behavior management techniques were implemented in order to maintain tool implementation and positive interactions with patients over time. Effectiveness of these procedures was measured using a concurrent multiple baseline across participant research design. Results showed that participants did not increase, or only slightly increased, tool use and positive interactions after being trained. However, tool use and positive interactions showed a more substantial increase for most participants after the implementation of organizational behavior management procedures.

Duomenų analizės priemonių tyrimas ir taikymas interneto sistemose / Data Analysis Tools Research and Usage in Internet Systems

Vilimas, Marius 24 September 2004 (has links)
Every day Internet sites collect and store lots of user data. For effective usage of that data, special tools are required. Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) tools are suggested for that purpose. Usage of these tools is related to usage of Data Warehousing tools. Therefore issues of Data Warehouse design, data transformation and transferring to data warehouses were discussed. In the present years there are new trends in business computer systems industry – WEB Data Warehouses. New characteristics of such systems were analyzed. OLAP tools usage is not possible without multidimensional data model. Main entities and operations with these entities were reviewed and mathematical definitions given. Data transformation process was proposed. This process flow shows how transformations can be used for transferring data from WEB site to multidimensional database. OLAP tools of Microsoft SQL server and Oracle database server (the most popular database management systems in Lithuania) were analyzed in experimental part of work. Data transformation and reviewing in desktop applications, WEB systems and office applications tools were compared and recommendations given.

Integrace data miningových nástrojů do prostředí MS Visual Studio

Dvořan, Jan January 2014 (has links)
This work contains the design solution and implementation of importing data mining tool Weka to the Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server 2012 by Managed Plug-in algorithm. In this thesis is describe, how is possible to create new Managed Plug-In algorithm and how is possible to import tool Weka into it. To use tool Weka in the new Managed Plugin Algorithm, is used the IKVM port. The IKVM can create from Weka tool new C# library, which can be used by Managed Plug-in Algorithm.

Využití potenciálu BI sémantického modelu v MS SQL Server 2012

Zelený, Jindřích January 2015 (has links)
This thesis deals with different approaches in the development of an analytical model of the data warehouse with a focus on tabular mode and its associated technologies and tools from the Microsoft company. In the theoretical part the thesis introduces the principles of Business Intelligence and also the concept of the semantic model. It also states tabular model as a new approach of creating an analytical database stored in the RAM memory. The tabular model is developed on the top of the data warehouse of a fictitious company Contoso in the practical part. The emphasis is put mainly on the comparison between the tabular and multidimensional model. The work ends with deploying both models on a virtual server with a comparison of their computing power for each of the designed scenarios.

Model metrik potravinářské firmy a jeho ověření v nástroji Business Intelligence

Klapal, David January 2007 (has links)
