Uma solução para reduzir boa parte de seus problemas é o conhecimento de sua realidade por meio de suas características socioeconômicas. Nesse contexto, o objetivo da pesquisa é determinar o perfil socioeconômico do bairro Cidade Nova no município de Timon (MA), com o auxilio de geotecnologias. Desta forma, foi realizada uma abordagem integrada, a partir de duas dimensões da análise geográfica. A caracterização socioeconômica e a análise de sua distribuição espacial. Para alcançar os objetivos, foram usadas pesquisa de campo, técnicas de cartografia digital, sistema de informação geográfica, combinadas com as modelagens de estatísticas tradicionais e da geoestatística para a elaboração de mapas temáticos através da técnica de krigagem, numa abordagem quantiqualitativa. Os resultados e a análise espacial geográfica mostram que grande parte da população do bairro Cidade Nova é constituída de famílias de baixa escolaridade e renda, e a maioria trabalha na informalidade. A utilização de técnicas de geoprocessamento por meio da integração de dados espaciais e alfanuméricos permitiu análise dos dados geográficos de forma dinâmica e eficaz, comprovando a potencialidade dessa tecnologia no auxilio da análise de dados socioeconômicos e obtenção de informações relevantes para o ordenamento, planejamento e gestão urbanos / The problem irregular urban occupations in Brazil are one of the themes more studied now. A solution to reduce good part of their problems are the knowledge of their reality through their socioeconomic characteristics. In that context the objective of the research is to determine the socioeconomic profile of the neighborhood “Cidade Nova” in the municipal district of Timon-MA, with aid of geotecnologies. This way, an integrated approach was accomplished, starting from two dimensions of the geographical analysis. The socioeconomic characterization and the analysis space distribution, to reach the objectives were used field research, techniques of digital cartography, system of geographical information, combined with the modelling of traditional statistics and of the geostatistic for the elaboration of thematic maps through the “krigagem technique”, a quantiqualitative approach. The results and the geographical space analysis show that great part of the population of the neighborhood “Cidade Nova” is constituted of families of low education, income and most work in the informality. The use of geoprocessing techniques through the space and alphanumeric integration of data, allowed analysis of the geographical data in a dynamic and effective way, proving the potentiality of that technology in aid of the analysis of socioeconomic data and obtaining of relevant information for the orderly, planning and urban administration

nÃo hà / The purpose of this study is to analyze the survival of companies located in the State of Ceara and beneficiary of tax incentive within the Industrial Development Fund, specifically within the Industrial Development Incentive Program. Such benefit was created in 1979 and is currently the main fundraising tool of the new companies or the expansion tool of the existing companies in the State.The statistical technique of survival analysis of the nonlinear KAPLAN-MEIER nonparametric method was used, comparing the results of the beneficiary companies with the results of the non-beneficiary companies within the Industrial Development Fund/Industrial Development Incentive Program. The study took into consideration the location, the economic activity developed, the percentage of benefit and the turnover of the companies.The results demonstrate that the survival of the beneficiary companies is clearly superior to that of the non-beneficiary companies regardless their location, economic activity or size. The study also points out that segments of activity in which even the beneficiary companies present low survival indicators shall be subject to a scrutinized analysis by policy makers in the development of the State. / O objetivo do presente estudo à analisar a sobrevivÃncia de empresas localizadas no Estado do Cearà e beneficiÃrias de incentivos fiscais no Ãmbito do Fundo de Desenvolvimento Industrial - FDI, especificamente no Programa de Incentivo ao Desenvolvimento Industrial - Provin. Este benefÃcio foi criado em 1979, permanecendo atà hoje como o principal instrumento de captaÃÃo de novas empresas ou ampliaÃÃo das jà existentes no Estado. Foi empregada a tÃcnica estatÃstica de anÃlise de sobrevivÃncia a partir de modelos nÃo-lineares, utilizando-se o estimador nÃo-paramÃtrico de KAPLAN-MEIER, comparando-se, sempre que possÃvel, os resultados das empresas beneficiÃrias com os resultados obtidos para empresas nÃo-beneficiÃrias do FDI/Provin. O estudo levou em conta a localizaÃÃo, a atividade desenvolvida, o percentual do benefÃcio e o nÃvel do faturamento das empresas.Os resultados demonstraram que a sobrevivÃncia das empresas beneficiÃrias à nitidamente superior ao das empresas nÃo-beneficiÃrias, independente de localizaÃÃo, setor de atividade ou tamanho da empresa. Chama atenÃÃo, entretanto, segmentos de atividade nas quais, mesmo as empresas beneficiÃrias, apresentam baixos Ãndices de sobrevivÃncia e que, portanto, devem ser objeto de anÃlise mais acurada por parte dos formuladores das polÃticas de desenvolvimento do Estado.

Uma das modalidades de operadoras que mais têm tido dificuldade na sobrevivência são as filantrópicas, apesar de sua importância para o setor de saúde. Entre as dificuldades, a principal delas está relacionada a parte financeira. Foi utilizada, neste estudo, uma abordagem quanti-qualitativa, sendo a primeira etapa um conjunto de indicadores econômico-financeiros para analisar o impacto da gestão financeira no desempenho das operadoras de planos de saúde. Na etapa qualitativa, estudou-se em profundidade duas operadoras de planos de saúde filantrópicas. Ainda que muito se discuta acerca da sinistralidade, o custo das operadoras não representa um diferencial entre elas, tendo como principal fator competitivo e de sobrevivência a gestão financeira. Foi possível identificar que práticas como instituição de comitê financeiro, realizações diárias e definição de caixa mínimo aprimoram o desempenho da OPS. Nesse sentido, é essencial que as companhias deste segmento direcionem esforços para a melhoria da gestão financeira, uma vez que os custos estão equiparados para operadoras de bom e mau desempenho financeiro. / One of the modalities of operators who have had the most difficulty in survival are the philanthropic ones, despite their importance for the health sector. Among the difficulties, the main one is related to the financial part. In this sense, the study used a quantitative-qualitative approach, the first stage being a set of economic-financial indicators to analyze the impact of financial management on the performance of healthcare plan operators. At the qualitative stage, two philanthropic health plan operators were studied and depth. Although much is discussed about the accident rate, the cost of the operators does not represent a differential between them, having as main competitive and survival factor the financial management. It was possible to identify that practices such as financial committee institution, daily realizations and definition and minimum cash register improve health plan operator\'s performance. In this sense, it is essential that companies in this segment direct efforts to improve financial management, since the costs are equated to operators with good and poor financial performance.

My master's thesis goes in for new term neuromarketing and its specific application in a quality marketing research. In a theoretical part I will present terms like marketing, marketing research and neuromarketing. In an application part I will introduce a company Vodafone, whose campaign will be analyze from many views. Firstly I will analyze an advertising campaign with a help of its emotional and rational value and I will show all the elements which catch our attention. Then I will provide a questionnaire survey. And I will compare its results with eye tracking survey from Millward Brown agency. This agency carries out neuromarketing research in the Czech Republic.

This thesis analyses the satisfaction of employees of the Prague branch of company XY. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Job satisfaction is defined in the theoretical part. There are individual definitions of job satisfaction and selected theories dealing with this issue. The practical part is devoted to the presentation of XY, methodological apparatus and the characteristics of the sample of respondents who participated in the research. The processing and interpretation of the empirical data then follows. The work has two parallel goals. The first objective is to analyze the job satisfaction of employees of the Prague branch of XY. Their satisfaction is determined using a questionnaire and on the basis of a proposal of improvement. The second objective is to evaluate measures introduced through interviews with management and employees themselves XY year after the execution of the research. This allows an objective determination of the impact of the research and furthermore how each of the implemented changes contributed to employee job satisfaction.

The master thesis deals with the issue of enhancing the quality of providing services in the wellness centre Infinit Maximus. Nowadays the wellness centre provides high quality of services to their clients. However there are some areas that should be improved and that are described in the thesis. During the processing of the thesis I delt with factual economic, operating and technical figures connected to the latest economic activity of the wellness centre. The proposal part includes some suggestions for elimination high deviations of occupancy and some suggestions for reduction the high fluctuation of employees. Instead of the main topic I also suggest some other improvements.

This work deals with ecological design and appraisal of quality of the electronic devices throughout their life cycle. This area known worldwide as Eco-Design, becomes an integral part of all electro technical productions. This work brings out not only conception of the Eco-Design, but also next related areas with the aim to decrease limitation of negative impact on environment. At the end of the work is compared and summarized the ecological evaluation of the concrete product types.

The objective of this paper was to analyze the content of organizational culture of the chosen organization and consider it in relation to efficiency and fulfilling organizational goals and objectives. Based on the results of the completed survey the possibility of changing the real content of organizational culture to better comply with the desired content was outlined.

This master thesis focuses on information systems, describing the current state of relevant literature and terminology, defining information systems implementation requirements and proposing exact steps of IS implementation and management process. Practical part of this thesis aims on assessing the pros and cons of a set of economic information systems, selecting the best solution for a chosen company and proposing steps leading to its successful implementation.

The aim of my thesis is to: describe and analyze motivation, evaluation and remuneration of employees on the example of a successful modern society. Methodology is dividing the work into theoretical and analytical part. The theoretical part is focused on solving specific practices that related to the acquisition of the theoretical knowledge regarding motivation and it’s making effect on results of work performance of employees during the working process. The analytical part is dedicated to solve motivation in the company ROCHE, s. R. O. Solution of the research problem is to determine researching questions. Starting point are suggestions on the better implementation of motivation.
