A relação entre a arte e a geografia pode ser estudada segundo o recorte analítico do circuito de arte, auxiliando a compreensão do processo de produção, circulação e consumo das obras de arte. Esse circuito se distribui pelas cidades e países segundo determinadas orientações que podem ser visualizadas a partir dessa abordagem, esclarecendo, entre outros, a relação entre a espacialidade e o reconhecimento das obras de arte. Considerando a peculiaridade da atividade artística, este trabalho procurará realizar uma reflexão sobre o circuito de arte, configurado por diferentes agentes, tais como galerias, casas de leilão e museus. Nesse circuito, nos deteremos nas feiras internacionais de arte, eventos que se fazem importantes por possibilitar a situação de copresença entre seus agentes e a comercialização de obras de arte em escala global. Tendo como referência a SP-Arte, primeira feira internacional de arte organizada na cidade de São Paulo, compreendemos seu surgimento associado a um imperativo de organização do circuito de arte internacional e às condições apresentadas pela metrópole paulista. / The relationship between art and geography may be understood through the analytical analysis of the art circuit, helping the compreheension of the production, distribution and consume of art pieces. Such circuit is distributed through the cities and countries following certain orientations which may be vizualized from that approach, thus clarifying, among others, the relationship between spaciality and the recognition of art works. Considering the peculiarities of the artistic activity, this dissertation aims to produce a discussion about the art circuit, configured by its different agents, such as galleries, auction houses and museums. Moreover, we further analyze the international art fairs, events that are of importance for allowing a co-presence situation amongst the art circuit agents and the commercialization of art works in a global scale. Having as a reference SP-Arte, the first international art fair organized in the city of São Paulo, we understand its emergence as an imperative of the organization of the international art circuit vis-a-vis the required conditions displayed by the metropolis.

A Tese na [da] Caixa Preta aborda o princípio de uma entidade exemplificadora de si mesma no dispositivo de arquivamento de uma escritura. Uma coleção de obras de arte contemporâneas brasileiras foi formada com o objetivo de lastrear a mediação e ação culturais tendo como base a realização de exposições e experiências envolvendo o sistema das artes entre seus aspectos formais e informais. Objetivos: Exemplificar a literalidade do papel dos sistemas artísticos formais e informais para obtenção de uma consistência entre a origem simbólica da linguagem e as variações surgidas na repetição [diferência termo de Derrida] conforme a lei do acontecimento [também de acordo com Jacques Derrida] e do poder retrospectivo de um dispositivo arquivante de uma escritura Métodos: Exercício de papéis diferentes e experimentais nesse sistema das artes: entre o pesquisador, colecionador, curador, artista, espectador, leitor e por último, o escritor [aquele que redige a própria experiência como o dispositivo que irá arquivar todos os resultados obtidos durante o processo]. Resultados: A coleção formada foi transformada em lastro conceitual para várias instalações e exposições artísticas. Os resultados da mediação e ação cultural entre os circuitos formal e informal do sistema das artes foram documentados, além da escritura de uma tese, em um DVD com o mesmo título: A Tese na [da] Caixa Preta que mostra [como matéria de prova], em três vídeos, as imagens das experiências citadas. / The thesis in [of] the black box is based on the principle of an entity that exemplifies itself in an archive scriptural system. Several Brazilian Contemporary Art pieces were acquired to form a collection which was used for cultural action and mediation purposes such as exhibitions and experiences involving the Brazilian art system in its formal and informal aspects. Objectives: To exemplify the literality role within the formal and informal art systems in order to have a consistency between the symbolic origin of language and the variations that appear in repetition [differance term used by Derrida] according the event law [in Jacques Derridas philosophy perspective] and the retrospective power of archival device of scripture. Results: The formal art collection was transformed into conceptual ballast for several artistic installations and exhibitions. A partir dos anos 2000, o Centro da cidade de São Paulo voltou a vibrar como polo atrativo de novos moradores, entre eles artistas. Favorecidos com boa infra-estrutura, preços baixos e uma (re) conexão cultural e afetiva com o centro histórico, os novos moradores passaram a se reunir em espaços autônomos de arte, onde criam laços e se influenciam pelo espaço urbano singular da região central da cidade. Tais espaços autônomos se configuram pela independência do circuito institucional e do mercado de arte, estando livres para criar, refletir e apresentar seus trabalhos no contexto da cidade. As trajetórias da arte contemporânea em um circuito independente e experimental no distrito da Sé conduzem esta pesquisa. O mapeamento dos espaços autônomos de arte na região mostra como eles se articulam no centro histórico da maior cidade brasileira, formando uma teia de relações entre artistas, espaços autônomos e a cidade. / From the 2000s, the São Paulo city downtown has once again vibrated as an attractive pole of new residents, among them artists. Favored by good infrastructure, low prices and a cultural and affective (re) connection with the historic center, the new \"residents\" get together in autonomous art spaces, where they create bonds and are influenced by this unique urban space of the center of the city. These autonomous spaces are shaped by the independence of the institutional circuit and the art market, being free to create, reflect and present their works in the context of the city. The trajectories of contemporary art in an independent and experimental circuit in the Sé district lead this research. The mapping of autonomous art spaces in the region shows how they are articulated in the historical center of the largest Brazilian city, forming a web of relations between artists, autonomous spaces and the city.
