Tal cartografia visual possibilitará um viés de compreensão acerca do papel de indício antropológico que a arte possui num mundo fluido, híbrido e interconectado. Nesse sentido, a discussão será amparada pelo conceito de Dialogismo, proposto por Mikhail Bakhtin e seu círculo de pesquisa, de forma que o respectivo conceito será atualizado por operações intertextuais e intersemióticas. As operações mencionadas, em uma relação filosófico-conceitual, se proporão em servir de rota para se compreender os processos culturais das sociedades contemporâneas. Associa-se à discussão o papel que esses processos de culturalidade trazem como desdobramentos nas sociedades da América Latina, não mais empreendendo uma trajetória uniforme e contínua, mas uma teia rizomática de apropriações, lealdades transitórias e visualidades. / The following research aims to propose a critical and theoretical reflection towards examples of contemporary art exposed in exhibitions and museums in the city of Belém, Pará. This visual guide map will make possible a comprehension look related to the anthropological signals that art has in a fluid, hybrid and interconnected world. So in this sense, the discussion will be guided by the concept of Dialogism proposed by Mikhail Bakhtin and his research group on a way that it can also be renewed to our context through intersemiotics and intertextuality operations. The mentioned operations, on a philosophical and conceptual relation, will try to provide a route to understand the cultural processes of the contemporary societies. Associated to the discussion there is the role that the cultural processes perform on the Latin America societies, not intending to pave a uniform and continuous path, but a rizomatic net of appropriations, ephemerons loyalties and visual concepts.

Discute-se, etnograficamente a produção artesanal de Guilherme Augusto dos Santos Junior, um artesão paraense, contemporâneo, e ilustra-se, com o exemplo de seu “fazer arte(são)”, que os limites entre os campos citados são construções cada vez mais tênues. Como técnicas de abordagem foram estabelecidas entrevistas na sua casa que também é o local de seu trabalho com o intuito de conhecer a sua história de vida e o seu método criativo. A teoria que sustenta a pesquisa deriva dos Estudos Culturais, porque oferece maior flexibilidade para tratar das inter-relações entre as culturas em que o artesão está imerso e são os pilares da sua identidade híbrida. Afirma-se que o ato criativo do artesão segue uma metodologia projetual semelhante à do artista e do designer, mas por ter um caráter empírico ainda é discriminada no mundo acadêmico. O estudo apresenta-se dividido em três capítulos: História de vida do artesão Guilherme Augusto dos Santos Junior; Caminhos da criação e, finalmente, Artesanato, Design e Arte. A conclusão aponta para a quebra dos conceitos tradicionais do Artesanato, colocando em xeque a validade das divisões hierárquicas atribuídas ao campo da Arte e do Design. / This study is a view at Craftwork as an important cultural manifestation to reflect upon the relations between converging knowledges in contemporary society: Design and Art. We discuss ethnographically the craftsmanship production of Guilherme Augusto dos Santos Junior, a contemporary artisan from Pará-Brazil, and this debate is illustrated with examples of his “art(isan) making”, which shows that the boundaries between the mentioned fields are increasingly tenuous constructions. The approach was to make interviews at his home, which is also his workplace, so we could get to know his life and creative process. The theory that sustains the research derives from Cultural Studies, because it shows greater flexibility to address the interrelations between the cultures in which the craftsman is immersed, which are, therefore, the pillars of his hybrid identity. From this theoretical support we were able to discuss his creative process, one that follows a project methodology similar t o the artist and designer, but as yet has an empirical character that continues to be discriminated at academic circles. This study has been divided into three chapters: Life story of the artisan Guilherme Augusto dos Santos Junior; Paths of Creation and Crafts, Design and Art. The conclusion points out to a break in the traditional concepts of Craftwork, calling into question the validity of the hierarchical divisions assigned to the field of Art and Design.
