This work has as central problem to analyze the political negotiations and exercised in the daily cultural arts Pernambuco from 1930 to 1945, between the painters and government policies in the state of Pernambuco. This by examining the competitive space and socio-cultural, entitled Salon de Bellas Artes de Pernambuco, created to reward those artists that met the standards required by edicts drafted according to the political position of the government in power. / Os limites que relacionam a arte com a política implicam na enunciação de territórios que interrogam a produção artística segundo sua própria potência de ação, de modo que sua existência, em diversos momentos da história irá adequar-se às regulamentações de uma certa ordem dominante. Este trabalho tem como problema central analisar as negociações políticas e culturais exercidas no cotidiano das artes plásticas pernambucanas no período de 1929 à 1945, entre os pintores e as políticas governamentais no estado de Pernambuco. Isto através da análise dos espaços competitivos e intitulados de Salões de Belas Artes de Pernambuco, como forma de projetos de educação estética que propunham uma inserção das Belas Artes na vida da sociedade pernambucana do período analisado.
