I wrote an essay called "Buyers and Workers" where I questioned topics of the painting as an art object or a commodity, and I discussed the artist's function in society. With my examination show I examined if the artist could be put in a standard working model of commercial market of our contemporary, and what the result and the experience of this structured way of working might be. Questions like "What is the product or commodity in the project?" was raised through the process. / [I examensarbetet ingår utställningen "Full Time Work":] Throughout the 7 days my show was open I painted lines on the walls. I followed a working schedule, I had made beforehand, similar to the opening hours of commercial market, thereby questioning artistic labor and art production within a working structure of what we know from society. The schedule dictated that I worked on the walls 45 minuts per hour, and that I by each hour changed colors. The total amount of sessions I worked per day was 8, thereby also using 8 different colors. Each day I would use the same colors in the same hour, starting with the bright yellow and finishing with the dark blue. I worked in a total of 6 hours per day, having a total of 2 hours spare time per day. When the 7 days were up, I had succeeded in painting nearly one and a half walls, creating a beautiful pattern. Para se compreender a organização do trabalho artístico há que se levar em conta seus aspectos institucionais. As formas que as organizações artísticas tomam estão diretamente relacionadas ao desenvolvimento desses campos de produção em artes. Nessa dissertação, tomo como objeto de interesse o campo da produção teatral paulistana conhecido como Teatro de Grupo. Argumento que a aprovação da Lei de Fomento ao Teatro para a cidade de São Paulo em 2002 foi um importante ponto de inflexão na construção desse campo. Para explorar de que modo a lei permanece como um dos mecanismos centrais da organização dessa parcela da produção artística, foram coletados, por meio de pesquisa de campo e análise documental, dados e informações sobre os grupos que concorreram a essa verba de financiamento. Ao descrever os elementos que constituem esse campo de produção torna-se possível elucidar aspectos específicos da experiência de trabalho artístico dos indivíduos que compõem esses grupos teatrais da cidade. / Institutional features must be taken into account in order to understand the organization of artistic labor. The shapes artistic organizations might take are closely related to the development of the artistic fields of production they pertain. This thesis focuses on a field of theatre production in São Paulo known as Teatro de grupo. I argue that the approval of a law called Lei de Fomento ao Teatro para a cidade de São Paulo in 2002 was a turning point towards this fields construction. Aiming to explore the ways by which this law continues to be one of the core mechanisms of this particular part of the artistic production, I gathered data on theater groups in the city through documental research and field work. Describing he elements that constitute this specific field elucidates the aspects of the labor experience of the artists who are part of these groups.

Para determinar a validade desta hipótese, será empregada a metodologia de pesquisa direta em fonte primária, sendo adotados como parâmetros de avaliação o estudo do perfil do aluno ingresso no curso técnico em Artes Dramáticas e a sua relação com o histórico de criação e gestão da Escola técnica de Artes, no contexto de seus equipamentos culturais e projetos. O trabalho apresenta ainda reflexões sobre o perfil empreendedor dos profissionais do teatro alagoano fundamental para trabalhar por meio de incubadoras culturais, assim como, a apresentação das capacidades, habilidades, comportamentos e procedimentos necessários para este modo de produção teatral. / This work builds upon a functional review of the economics of culture and creativity in the theatrical field in Alagoas, aiming to investigate whether the insertion of Technical School of Arts Program in the Business Incubator hosted by the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL) could both constitute a positive enterpreneurial action as well as a consolidation of professional practice among agents of the local theatrical universe, with emphasys on actors trained by the school itself. To determine the validity of this hypothesis, a methodology of direct research is used, aiming to conduct the research towards the primary cultural sources, which were adopted as parameters for evaluating the profile of the incoming students in Arts, in order to understand its relation with the history of creation and management of Technical School of Arts and in the context of its cultural facilities and projects. The research conducted in this work shows that the entrepreneurial traits of the local professional theater is an enabler to the theatrical production through cultural incubators, being aligned with most of the capabilities, skills, behaviors and procedures required for this mode of theater production.
