Easy Parking

Galarreta Alemán, Mariafe, Perez Silva, Neri, Sato Noriega , Akemi, Torres Ramírez , Ingrid Fabiola, Torres Lázaro, Rommel Jair 15 July 2020 (has links)
In Lima, the number of cars and trucks has increased, despite this, there is no adequate infrastructure, which generates a parking deficit for the number of people who buy new cars (Gestión, 2018). A report by INEI (2018) states that parking spaces are scarce for the 20% increase in cars from 2014 to 2018. Despite this, parking spaces have not been increased in the same proportion due to the lower amount of free land to operate. Consequently, it has not been possible to cover the parking demand at present (Municipality of Lima, 2017). For this reason, Easy parking was created, an innovative parking system in the historic center of Lima that consists of solving the shortage of parking lots, a rotary and automatic parking system that uses the vertical space of the air to park and not horizontal space. With this technology, Easy Parking will be able to park 10 cars instead of 2 like the traditional parking lots of the competition, being an alternative solution to vehicular congestion and the lack of parking on site. In addition, to make business more efficient and innovative, a mobile application was created to reserve parking spaces available online. After analyzing the market and designing the technical specifications of the service, it is concluded that Easy Parking is a viable and profitable project due to its indicators that confirm its profitability and viability. / Trabajo de investigación

Bytový dům "Vacek" / Apartment building "Vacek"

Vacek, Pavel January 2015 (has links)
I have designed the construction of a apartment building with multifunctional usage. A significant element is the internal automatic parking system, which is a relief for the residents of the house on a street crowded with parked cars. On the ground floor is a lucrative cafe with sitting area and two bowling lines. The house contains 18 housing units for 4-6 people. People are attracted by prestigious location with views of the city Brno on the dominant historical monuments and are attracted by a pleasant interior of the apartments, too. They are logically divided into 4 zones - day, night, working and relaxing. For relaxation, they may use the spacious balconies, terraces and a common area in the garden with children's play area. One part of this work is a focus on securing of construction pit and foundation of a building, which is almost a technical delicacy.

Automatic Parking and Path Following Control for a Heavy-Duty Vehicle

Mörhed, Joakim, Östman, Filip January 2017 (has links)
The interest in autonomous vehicles has never been higher and there are several components that need to function for a vehicle to be fully autonomous; one of which is the ability to perform a parking at the end of a mission. The objective of this thesis work is to develop and implement an automatic parking system (APS) for a heavy-duty vehicle (HDV). A delimitation in this thesis work is that the parking lot has a known structure and the HDV is a truck without any trailer and access to more computational power and sensors than today's commercial trucks. An automatic system for searching the parking lot has been developed which updates an occupancy grid map (OGM) based on measurements from GPS and LIDAR sensors mounted on the truck. Based on the OGM and the known structure of the parking lot, the state of the parking spots is determined and a path can be computed between the current and desired position. Based on a kinematic model of the HDV, a gain-scheduled linear quadratic (LQ) controller with feedforward action is developed. The controller's objective is to stabilize the lateral error dynamics of the system around a precomputed path. The LQ controller explicitly takes into account that there exist an input delay in the system. Due to minor complications with the precomputed path the LQ controller causes the steering wheel turn too rapidly which makes the backup driver nervous. To limit these rapid changes of the steering wheel a controller based on model predictive control (MPC) is developed with the goal of making the steering wheel behave more human-like. A constraint for maximum allowed changes of the controller output is added to the MPC formulation as well as physical restrictions and the resulting MPC controller is smoother and more human-like, but due to computational limitations the controller turns out less effective than desired. Development and testing of the two controllers are evaluated in three different environments of varying complexity; the simplest simulation environment contains a basic vehicle model and serves as a proof of concept environment, the second simulation environment uses a more realistic vehicle model and finally the controllers are evaluated on a full-scale HDV. Finally, system tests of the APS are performed and the HDV successfully parks with the LQ controller as well as the MPC controller. The concept of a self-parking HDV has been demonstrated even though more tuning and development needs to be done before the proposed APS can be used in a commercial HDV.

MORAVSKÉ VINAŘSKÉ CENTRUM BRNO / Moravian wine centre Brno

Jedrzejková, Ivana January 2016 (has links)
The main subject of this diploma project was to design an architectural proposal of Moravian Wine Centre in Brno, Czech Republic. To design a polyfunctional building with a concept of new use of an existing network of underground cellars became the main goal of the proposal. The building is divided into seven functional units where services in the fields of culture, education, gastronomy, recreation and wine production will be provided. The form and shape of MVC is based on the idea of making a passable connection between two important urban spaces Exhibition Centre Brno, and the Zluty Kopec area. The next aim was to create a public space for cultural events and recreation. Part of the assignment was to deal with smaller urban planning of adjacent properties and to react to Brno's planning policy. The new park type of green line, axially connecting those two points of Exhibition Centre and Zluty Kopec, and a new access road from the street "Vinarska" were proposed. Parking spaces are divided into above-ground and underground in order to restrict parking on street. An automatic parking system is part of the object MVC Brno.

MORAVSKÉ VINAŘSKÉ CENTRUM BRNO / Moravian wine centre Brno

Švéda, Petr January 2016 (has links)
The main goal of this diploma project is to produce an architectural study of the Moravian Wine Centre Brno (MVC) located on Hlinky Street in Brno, Czech Republic. Study also includes a concept of urban planning at Zluty Kopec area. Proposed urban ideas lead to development of a bidirectional passable park area and create an axis leading towards Moravian Wine Centre. MVC is a multifunctional building which contains the following space and operations: a leasable retail space for winemakers, space for wine degustation and archive boxes, a congress center with multifunctional hall, offices of The Czech Republic Institute of Wine, a gastrostudio, a viewing terrace restaurant, a cafe, a hotel type of accommodation in double rooms and suites, apartments with roof terraces, a wellness centre and space for wine production. Design of the proposed MVC complements surrounding buildings built in functionalist era and highlights the enter of proposed park. The facade is functionally pure with an accent of colored glass. An important part of the proposal is to link the design of new building with the historic cellars with tradition of wine processing. A part of this project was to design an interior spiral staircase connecting the basement with the entrance area. The construction of building contains integrated elements of renewable resources of energy such as photovoltaic facade.
