This thesis aims to analyze the consumer purchase decision process in the market for bicycles in all its stages. It sets to involve significant specifics that have any bearing on this process. The thesis is divided into several parts. The theoretical part deals with marketing tools applicable within the bicycle market considering bicycle a complex product with all related components. The following part goes into great detail analyzing the purchase decision process in the bicycle market, most of the space being devoted to the actual PDP stages. The last part handles the question of marketing research generally. The practical part of this thesis draws on the results of a marketing research carried out by means of questionnaires. Written questioning played vital part in primary data collection. This work also presents information concerning the questionnaire research. Then, socio-demographic issues are analyzed which specify more closely the questioned-group structure. The statistical analysis of each one question in the questionnaire presents the crucial part which involves both a first stage analysis of all the questions used and a two-dimensional statistical analysis that gives an insight into the coherence between selected questions. Also included is summary of results and formulating marketing recommendations for bicycle manufacturers and sellers.

This thesis deals with a comparison of two sections of The Elbe Cycle Path in the Central Region. The whole work is divided into four parts. In the first half of the theoretical part describes cycling as such, explains the basic concepts arising from the topic and parameters that can influence the price of trails. The second half focuses on the approach to Elbe Cycle Route, its history, current status and vision for the future. The practical part describes The Elbe Cycle Route already embedded in the Central Region and the region itself and represents "The Elbe Cycle Route Brandýs nad Labem and in the neighborhood" and "The Cycleway Horní Počaply -- Vliněves -- Zelčín". The final section is devoted to the analysis of cartographic and economic comparison of the above projects. Final comparison shows the effectiveness in the implementation of both projects and highlights their strengths and opportunities and points out the weaknesses and threats that can be an inspiration and a warning to other projects linked to the development of cycling and mountain biking. The added value of this work is the visibility of both projects and communities to come together to be capable of such an important yet very financially demanding projects to implement. It turned out that although the patronage of the way, in terms of cycling, strategic projects assumed by the Central Region, it is fair to make a below average spending.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to conduct the strategic analysis of the selected enterprise via external and internal analysis, with emphasis on the sector analysis. Based on the acquired information then assess the enterprise situation and its position in the market and propose several recommendations and arrangements.

In keiner anderen Stadt wird über so viele Produzenten berichtet wie in Dresden. Über acht namentlich genannte Hersteller von Laufmaschinen, nebst Abbildungen und Bemaßung der Reisemaschine des Wagners Schwalbach, berichten die „Miscellen zur Belehrung und Unterhaltung“, eine Beilage des DRESDNER ANZEIGERS, am 28. November 1817.

Heute ist kaum noch vorstellbar, dass es in Dresden bis ca. 1930 eine vielseitige und überregional beachtliche Fahrrad- und Fahrradteileindustrie gab. Seit Herbst 1817 war hier das Fahrrad in Form der Draisinen und später der Tretkurbelvelocipede populär. Dresden zählt auch zu den wenigen deutschen Städten, in denen die industrielle Fahrradproduktion mit Hochrädern bereits um 1880 begann. Zehn Jahre später gab es hier schon zwölf Fahrradhersteller. Es etablierten sich ebenfalls Produzenten für Fahrradteile und Zubehör wie Lampen, Bereifung, Freilaufnaben, Pedale, Holzfelgen usw., aber auch für Fahrradwerkzeug, Montageständer sowie Werkzeugmaschinen und Anlagen für die Fahrradfertigung.

This diploma thesis Analysis of selected manoeuvres of bicyclists deals with the history and development of the bicycles, further their division of, construction, analysis accident and national legislation in the theoretical part. The practical part of the master thesis is devoted to the measurements of the bicycles. Specifically, it is about acceleration, deceleration, transverse movement, ride in the curve and looking back before changing the direction. For measuring are selected different type of bikes with different construction. The results of individual measurements are evaluated in the end of the diploma thesis.

This diploma thesis deals with creation of computational model of AZUB recumbent tricycle composite axle for stress strain analysis. The thesis consists of four main parts. The first part contains introduction to the offer of full suspended tricycles from the most known manufacturers. Furthermore it contains introduction to composite materials that makes the main element of AZUB´´s suspension, and the description of the AZUB´´s front axle. In the second part there is detailed compilation of computational model for purpose of stress strain analysis of three load states. The effect of specific material and geometry parameters on axle behavior is discussed with the aim of choosing the most appropriate variant. Third part deals with the manufacturing of the front axle prototype and with tests leading to input data for numerical model and verification of computational model. Modifications and changes that lead to manufacturing of the second prototype are content of the last part. Based on this experience some recommendations for future development of the numerical axle model and the front axle suspension itself are formulated.

The thesis is concerned with an analysis of speed of bicyclists in age between 10 and 15 years. The thesis examines differences in construction of children's bikes, describes relationship between a child and a bicycle, messures size of children's bikes and characterizes the procedure during an analysis of bike accidents. Internal parts of the thesis are statistical data from accident frequency and summarizing of actual state of understanding of following problems in this age category. The main purpose of this thesis is to make an analysis of speed for individual age categories and make an evaluation of results. This measurement will be completed by a measure of achievable brake deceleration of riders in age between 10 and 15 years. The purpose of this final thesis is an expansion of data for a forensic expertise in area of Traffic.

Der Radverkehr einer Stadt ist von vielen verschiedenen Faktoren und Gegebenheiten abhängig. Zu diesen Faktoren zählen etwa die politischen Rahmenbedingungen, klimatische und geographische Einflüsse, Verhalten und Vorlieben der einzelnen Nutzergruppen, die vorhandene Radinfrastruktur sowie Eigenschaften der bebauten Umwelt. Die Eignung eines Gebietes für den Radverkehr wird als „Bikeability“ (Fahrradfreundlichkeit) bezeichnet und beinhaltet sämtliche räumliche Ausprägungen der bebauten Umwelt, die in der Lage sind, den Radverkehr zu beeinflussen. Die vorliegende Arbeit analysiert die Fahrradfreundlichkeit Dresdens mithilfe Geographischer Informationssysteme und gleicht sie mit dem geäußerten Nutzerverhalten ab. Zur Erstellung eines Bikeability Index wurden aufgrund einer vorangegangenen Literaturrecherche Indikatoren identifiziert, die zur Berechnung des Index geeignet sind. Mithilfe Geographischer Informationssystem wurden die benötigten Daten aufbereitet und zu einem Bikeability Index kombiniert. Die daraus resultierende Karte stellt radfreundliche und radunfreundliche Bereiche in einem 100x100 m Raster anschaulich dar. Der Bikeability Index wurde aus den folgenden Faktoren, die nachweislich Einfluss auf das Radfahrverhalten haben, berechnet: Radinfrastruktur, baulich getrennte Radwege, Grünflächen, Topographie und Flächennutzung. Die Betrachtung der Fahrradfreundlichkeit erfolgte sowohl auf gesamtstädtischer Ebene als auch auf kleinräumiger Ebene für ausgewählte Stadtteile. Aufgrund der Erkenntnisse aus der Literaturrecherche wurden für die ausgewählten Stadtteile zwei weitere Indikatoren hinzugefügt: Radabstellanlagen und Verkehrsmenge. Die statistische Analyse ergab eine geringe positive Korrelation des Nutzerverhaltens sowohl mit dem Bikeability Index als auch mit vereinzelten Indikatoren. Die entstandene Bikeability Karte zeigt radfreundliche Gebiete auf und solche, in denen die Radfahrbedingungen verbessert werden sollten und stellt dadurch ein aussagekräftiges und nutzerfreundliches Hilfsmittel zur Förderung nachhaltiger Mobilität für Planer und Politiker dar.
