<p>Barnahus in Örebro started in April 2009, an activity engaged in cooperation between authorities when children become victims of serious crimes. The activity is primarily based on Children Convention articles 1,2,3,12,19,34,39,40. The purpose of this study was to examine how the interaction at Barnahus in Örebro works according to the social workers, and this based on the best interest of the child on the basis of the UN Convention on the rights of the child. A qualitative approach has been applied and semi-structured interviews used. The sample consisted of five social workers in Örebro County involved in Barnahus’s cooperation. The result shows that the interaction works rather well considering the activity is relative new and the social workers are quite satisfied. The opportunities following cooperation, according to the social workers, are a faster process, the exchange of information, and different perspectives on the child's situation. Restrictions are, for example, the extended time the police’s process takes and the secrecy legislation.</p><p> </p><p>The result indicates that the social workers believes that the children's rights are applied, some articles more than others. The social workers expresses an ambition concerning the best interest of the child but different opinions of the child perspective, which is an important part in the best interest of the child, is found. According to the social workers interaction can provide children a faster access to help through the psychiatry of children and adolescent (BUP), only need to tell their story once and don’t have to meet a lot of authorities. The result shows a risk that the legal perspective can dominate and affect the protection of the best interest of the child when the focus is on crime and suspects.</p>

Syftet med denna undersökning har varit att undersöka synen på ett eventuellt behov av ett barnahus i Östersund hos representanter som skulle komma att beröras av barnahus. Utifrån ett målstyrt urval genomfördes semistrukturerade intervjuer med representanter från socialtjänsten, polis, åklagarmyndigheten, barnmedicinska kliniken, barn-och ungdomspsykiatrin och ett målsägandebiträde/särskild företrädare. Resultatet pekar entydigt på att respondenterna anser att ett barnahus i Östersund skulle vara positivt både utifrån ett barnperspektiv och när det gäller samverkan mellan de berörda myndigheterna. Undersökningen visar även att respondenter anser att ett barnahus skulle innebära fördelar för de enskilda professionella så som en känsla av gemenskap och möjlighet till briefing. Då flertalet av respondenterna framhävt vikten av politiska beslut anses det nödvändigt att inkludera politiker på kommunal och regional nivå.

När flera olika myndigheter, med inbördes skilda ansvarsområden och prioriteringar kopplas in på ett och samma fall är det inte ovanligt att barnet kommer i kläm. Barn har inte samma rättssäkerhet som vuxna då de står i mentalt underläge i alla situationer. Barnet är beroende av stödjande vuxna för att i rättsprocessen kunna hävda sina rättigheter. Barns utsatthet kan kanske aldrig helt utplånas men verkningarna därav kan förebyggas och dämpas. Olika myndigheter och instanser har olika idéer på hur detta arbete bör se ut. Regeringen via Justitieministern har valt att arbeta med så kallade Barnahus efter en inspirerande modell på Island. I Barnahuset samverkar myndigheterna för att tillgodose barnets bästa. Samverkan har också visat sig positiv vad det gäller lyckade utredningar, åtal och fällande domar av förövare mot barn. Diskursteori och diskursanalys lämpar sig mycket bra för djupare studier av texter som de vi har analyserat. Teorin i kombination med metoden är ett effektivt grepp vid textanalys.</p>

Den här uppsatsen handlar om samverkan. Syftet med studien var att undersöka den samverkan som äger rum inom verksamheten Barnahus i Gävleborgs län. Empirin samlades in med kvalitativa halvstrukturerade interjuver med sju verksamma inom Barnahus. Resultatet visar att samverkan existerar och yttrar sig i olika nivåer beroende på profession och arbetsmoment. Uppsatsen ger vidare belägg för att samverkan är ett komplext fenomen men att en ständig utvecklingsprocess inom verksamheten pågår. Vissa problemområden från tidigare forskning kvarstår fortfarande och bör utvecklas. En positiv inställning till samverkan har genomsyrat intervjupersonernas utsagor. / This essay is based on a qualitative study, and is first and foremost about cooperation. The purpose of the study was to examine the cooperation which takes place within Barnahus, in the county of Gävleborg. This study was conducted in order to understand how the cooperation manifests itself. The empiric data was collected by ways of qualitative half-structured interviews with seven active personnel in Barnahus. The results show that cooperation does exist and manifests itself in different levels depending on profession and suboperation. The essay’s conclusions showed that cooperation is a complex phenomenon, but there is an ongoing development process within the function. Some problematic areas from earlier research remain, and should be developed. A positive attitude towards intercommunion/cooperation has permeated the interviewees’ statements.

This is a qualitative study based on interviews with professionals who are cooperating at a children advocacy center, in swedish called “Barnahus”. The center, Barnahus, pulls together law enforcement, criminal justice, child protective service, medical and mental health workers in to one coordinated team. Children suspected to be victims of any kind of violence or sexual abuse shall, at Barnahus, be offered coordinated efforts and support all the way from suspicion to possible intervention.   The aim of the study is to examine how the participants involved relate to collaboration in Barnahus. The study will also present the success factors and barriers to collaboration that identifies by the participating actors, who are mentioned above. The study will provide insight and understanding of how collaboration can be represented in multiprofessional activities in practice.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur socialsekreterare, som arbetar med barn- och ungdomsärenden, upplevde stödet från Barnahus. Socialsekreterare verkar enligt forskning under pressade arbetsförhållanden, vilket kan bidra till sjukskrivningar samt svårigheter att rekrytera och bibehålla personal. Som stöd i den rättsliga hanteringen av arbetet finns bland annat Barnahus; en verksamhet där ett flertal myndigheter samverkar. Målet är att erbjuda ett bemötande anpassat efter behov till de barn som misstänks ha varit utsatta för våldsbrott eller sexuella övergrepp. Mot denna bakgrund, och med KASAM som den teoretiska utgångspunkten, genomfördes sex stycken semistrukturerade intervjuer med socialsekreterare från ett urval kommuner i Mellansverige. Resultatet påvisade att flertalet deltagare upplevde stödet från Barnahus som välfungerande. Dock framkom missnöje riktat mot andra samverkanspartners inom Barnahus, vilket enligt deltagarna behöver åtgärdas för att på ett adekvat sätt kunna möta behoven hos de barn som aktualiseras inom socialtjänsten. / The purpose of this study was to examine social worker’s experience of the staff support received from Barnahus. Recent research stated that social workers are suffering due to pressurised working environments, which can lead to difficulties with sick leave and a high staff turnover. Barnahus can be summarized as a place where concerned authorities are interoperating for the benefit of children who have been subject to violence or sexual abuse. They also offer support for social workers concerning the legal handling of said children. The study consists of semi-structured interviews with six social workers from different councils in mid Sweden. KASAM was used as the theoretical frame. Results showed that a majority of the participants were satisfied with the support. However, concerns about other authorities within Barnahus were raised. According to the participants these concerns need to be addressed in order to meet the needs of the children more effectively.
