The dissertation is one of a number of contributions to the research of a rather new form of tourism - beer tourism, or gastronomy tourism in a broader context. In the first part of the dissertation, the topic is grasped theoretically. Firstly, beer tourism is defined as one of the alternative forms of spending leisure time, and it is classified within tourism typology, alongside the better-known wine tourism. Tourists currently prefer the alternative forms, with an emphasis on, besides other things, tradition, authenticity and experience, which make up the values typical for participating in beer tourism. In spite of this form being at the start of its expansion in the Czech Republic, in the last few years, its dynamic has been immense, which is documented by plain statistics. In the past 3 years, almost half of the current 340 Czech breweries have been established. Further in the text, the product of beer tourism is defined and its typology is created, by which the supply side of tourism on the level of the Czech Republic as well as the Liberec region is later analysed. The second part focuses on the assessment of a questionnaire survey, with the objective of assessing the respondents' perception of the beer market and tourism in the Liberec region. Die Kuchenfiltration wird in der Literatur oft als Oberflächenfiltration eingestuft, obwohl Tiefenfiltrationseffekte vorhanden sind. In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden verschiedene Einflussfaktoren auf die Kieselgur-Kuchenfiltration von Bier im allgemeinen und auf den Tiefenfiltrationsanteil im speziellen untersucht. Zunächst wird festgestellt, dass man die schlechte Filtrierbarkeit von bestimmten Bieren auf das Vorhandensein erheblicher Mengen von Trubstoffen < 2 µm zurückführen kann. Deshalb wird die Abtrennung dieser Trubstoffe getrennt von jenen > 2 µm bewertet. Die Bierfiltration beruht zu großen Teilen auf mechanischen Vorgängen. Feine Trubstoffe werden bevorzugt in der Filterschichttiefe abgetrennt, gröbere Partikeln eher am Schichteintritt. Aufgrund der Versuchsergebnisse wird eine Modellvorstellung zum Abtrennungsverhalten und ein einfaches Rechenmodell zur Optimierung der eingesetzten Filterhilfsmittelkonzentration vorgestellt.

In The Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner (1824), James Hogg uses the uncanny trope of the bier-right, a medieval superstitious belief of Christian origin that a murdered corpse will bleed in the presence or at the touch of the actual murderer, to negotiate his struggle with fading belief in local superstitions and religious faith in the Scottish Borders. Examining the origins of the bier-right, court cases involving the bier-right, and Hogg's minor works using the bier-right I offer a comparison of how Hogg manipulates and morphs this trope in Confessions. I also argue that the main character, the sinner Robert Wringhim, becomes a living-dead embodiment of the bier-right corpse.

Der Autor stellt in seinem Artikel das Spannungsverhältnis zwischen der Bürgerschaft von Chemnitz und den Mönchen des Benediktinerklosters anhand eines Konfliktes um den Ausschank und das Brauen von Bier im Jahr 1524 dar.
