Our theoretical approach to character is based upon two perspectives – the content of the interviews and the way in which they are realized on screen. The second line of theoretical inquiry relates to an examination of the cinematic narrative, taking into account such elements as description, imaginary and narration.The study also includes an examination of the concept of documentary and its place within the works of the director Eduardo Coutinho. The methodology adopted is that of film analysis, the purpose of which is to unravel the subject being examined in order to reconstruct it according to the point of view formulated in the study. / Este trabalho tem por objetivo entender em que medida a construção da personagem no documentário Jogo de cena (2007), de Eduardo Coutinho, contribui para a compreensão da narrativa deste filme. A abordagem teórica a respeito da personagem se dá a partir de duas perspectivas – o conteúdo dos depoimentos e a forma com que eles são realizados no filme. O segundo eixo teórico refere-se a um estudo da narrativa cinematográfica, levando em conta aspectos como descrição, imaginário e narração.O trabalho inclui ainda o estudo do conceito de documentário e sua compreensão na obra do diretor Eduardo Coutinho. A metodologia utilizada é a análise fílmica, que tem como função destrinchar o objeto de pesquisa a fim de reconstruí-lo a partir do ponto-de-vista teórico formulado no trabalho.

A pesquisa busca estudar a relação criativa entre o diretor e os atores do grupo Falos e Stercus na construção do espetáculo Hybris, sob a perspectiva da performance e do teatro ambientalista, a partir de um processo de criação cinematográfico documental, que vai abordar as influências recíprocas entre elenco e direção na Trupe, como manifestações artísticas autônomas e relacionais. Para tanto ele será estruturado em três eixos narrativos: o treinamento dos atores nos ensaios, o contexto acadêmico que influencia a pesquisa, e momentos da vida pessoal do realizador. Estes métodos de construção fílmica, através das aproximações entre cinema, documentário e vídeo, serão utilizados no registro e na reflexão sobre os procedimentos de criação do elenco e da direção do grupo. / The research intends to study the creative relation between the director and the actors of the group Falos e Stercus in the making of the spectacle, under the perspective of the performance and the enviromental theater, starting from a cinematographic documentary creation process, which will address the recriprocal influences between the cast and direction of the trupe, as relational and autonomous artistic expressions. For this, it will be structured in three narrative axes: the training of the actors during rehearsals, the academic context which influences the research, and moments of the personal life of the director. This methods of movie making, through the approach of cinema, documentay and video, will be used in the record and reflection about the procedures of creation of the cast and the direction of the group.
