For this, let‟s observe the relationship between culture, religion and heritage. We discuss the historical processes of patrimonialization in Brazilian religious field, starting the path by the Catholic Church and their built heritage listed as a historic place. Let‟s examine the Evangelic practice on the patrimonial field. And the landmark of the first Candomblé listed as a historic place and the relationship of african-Brazilian religions with intangible heritage. We finish this route with new religious movements and the ayahuasca religions. And watching the balance processes the Holy Daime'll analyze your asset dynamics, considering overturning, musealization and the collective application for registration of the ritual use of ayahuasca as a Brazilian intangible heritage, held in 2008. The understanding of religion as a cultural system of Clifford Geertz, field and habitus of Pierre Bourdieu, and a reflection on the secular nature of the State, contribute to the examination of the patrimony that we propose to analyze, realizing the sphere of heritage as a tool used in the disputes of the Brazilian religious field. / Este trabalho busca estabelecer um panorama dos processos de patrimonialização no campo religioso brasileiro, tendo como objeto as dinâmicas patrimoniais do Santo Daime, através de pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e vivência no campo. Para isso, observaremos a relação entre cultura, religião e patrimônio. Discutiremos os processos históricos de patrimonialização no campo religioso brasileiro, iniciando o trajeto pela Igreja Católica e o tombamento do seu patrimônio edificado. Examinaremos a prática evangélica acerca da patrimonialização. E o marco do primeiro tombamento de um terreiro de candomblé e a relação das religiões afro-brasileiras com o patrimônio imaterial. Finalizaremos este percurso com os novos movimentos religiosos e as religiões ayahuasqueiras. E observando os processos patrimoniais do Santo Daime vamos analisar suas dinâmicas patrimoniais, considerando tombamentos, musealização e o pedido coletivo de registro do uso ritual da ayahuasca como patrimônio imaterial brasileiro, realizado em 2008. A compreensão da religião enquanto sistema cultural de Clifford Geertz, campo e habitus de Pierre Bourdieu, e uma reflexão sobre a laicidade do Estado, contribuirão para o exame da patrimonialização que propomos analisar, percebendo a esfera do patrimônio como ferramenta utilizada nas disputas do campo religioso brasileiro.

Enfatiza-se a dimensão simbólica dessa relação no intuito de perceber as recentes transformações que têm ocorrido no campo evangélico. Por meio de um trabalho de campo, visualizou-se essa dinâmica ao nível local, relacionando o material recolhido com a bibliografia especializada. A hipótese em questão é que o tempo da política determina uma temporalidade religiosa, influindo em uma unidade conjuntural do campo evangélico. Mas essa unidade, na verdade, deve ser percebida mais profundamente na própria dinâmica do campo religioso brasileiro na consolidação da figura de um tipo médio protestante, considerado genericamente como evangélico. Busca-se, pois, compreender o comportamento político dos evangélicos por meio dessa ótica, em que estão inclusas transformações identitárias e simbólicas. / This work aims to study the relationship between protestants and politics. We emphasize the symbolic dimension of this relationship to understand the recent changes that have occurred in the evangelical field. Through a field work, this dynamic is viewed at the local level, relating the material collected with the specialized literature. The hypothesis in question is that the time of the politics establishes a religious temporality, influencing a conjunctural unity of the evangelical field. But this unity, in fact, should be more deeply seen into the dynamics of the brazilian religious field, in the consolidation of the figure of an average protestant type, generally regarded as evangelical. The aim is, therefore, to understand the political behavior of the evangelicals through this perspective, which includes symbolical and identitary transformations.

A percepção da religião como totalidade dirige o foco da tese para a intepretação religiosa da cultura verificada no prisma dessa manifestação religiosa. Procura-se através de uma metodologia interpretativa e metanalítica demarcar a visão de mundo pentecostal em torno da cultura na forma como essa relação se expressou desde a primeira modalidade de pentecostalismo que se instalou em solo autóctone até o momento presente, interpretando suas principais atitudes diante do mundo. Este é um trabalho bibliográfico em que serão debatidos os principais paradigmas que procuraram explicar essa interface e será realizado um esforço de interpretação fenomenológica da crença pentecostal. Ao final, propõe-se uma síntese interpretativa da atual relação do pentecostalismo com a cultura tendo como parâmetro suas recentes transformações. / The present thesis tries to approach the relation of the Pentecostalism with the culture in Brazil from the perspective of the Science of Religion. The perception of religion as totality directs the focus of the thesis to the religious interpretation of the culture verified in the prism of this religious manifestation. The aim is to demarcate through an interpretative and meta-analytic methodology the Pentecostal worldview around culture in the way this relation has been expressed since the first modality of Pentecostalism that settled in autochthonous soil to the present moment, interpreting its attitudes towards the world. This is a bibliographical work in which the main paradigms that seek to explain this relationship will be debated together with a phenomenological interpretation of Pentecostal belief. In the end, an interpretative synthesis of the current relationship between Pentecostalism and culture will be carried out, taking as a parameter its recent transformations.
