Spolupráce malých obcí a mikroregiony v ČR / Co-operation of small municipalities and microregions in The Czech republic

In my master thesis I will focus on advantages of co-operation small villages and their expectant development. The theoretic part of thesis target the legislative and socioeconomic aspects of municipal co-operation. Principal aim is giving account of positive and negative impacts of function and next development of co-operation smaller municipalities and their staying in residential structure. Next part will be attended to association of municipalities and legal entities called Sdružení Růže. This is situated in the south part of Czech republic. I will analyze kinds of their activities and determinate limits and barriers of their development by socioeconomic analysis territory.

Economic Diplomacy through International Tourism Co-operation : the Case of South Africa and China, 2009 to 2017

This mini-dissertation examines the nexus between international co-operation in tourism and economic diplomacy through the lens of modern diplomatic practice. In this 21st century, characterised by globalisation, economic diplomacy is emerging as one of the ubiquitous mode of modern diplomatic practice in both the developed and developing nations. It takes many forms, such as negotiation of bilateral and multilateral trade regimes, establishing foreign economic relations, nation branding, attraction of foreign direct investment and promoting international tourism to pursue national development imperatives. This mini-dissertation focuses on one function of economic diplomacy, that of international co-operation in the field of tourism. This is a case study research design based on literature review, analysing the nature and character of the evolving economic diplomacy practiced through tourism co-operation between South Africa and China. The literature review indicates that there is an abundance of analysis on the significance, nature and conduct of economic diplomacy between South Africa and China and that economic diplomacy is central to their growing diplomatic ties since 2009. However, there is lack of understanding of tourism’s role in South Africa’s economic diplomacy architecture, meaning the exact role of tourism co-operation in advancing economic diplomacy remains undocumented in the mainstream literature discussing South Africa’s evolving economic diplomacy agenda. This lacuna has motivated this study and its findings will contribute to the body of knowledge on the evolving nature of modern diplomatic practice. This mini-dissertation investigates the extent to which economic diplomacy practiced through tourism co-operation advanced economic diplomacy between South Africa and China from 2009 to 2017. The nature of economic diplomacy practiced by South Africa through international tourism co-operation postulated in this mini-dissertation includes mainly four pillars: 1. Negotiation, signing and implementation of tourism co-operation agreements; 2. Representation of South Africa’s tourism interests in China; 3. Country branding and positioning to increase inbound tourism arrivals; and 4. Building business relations through tour operators to promote tourism. The four pillars constitute the central tenets of analysis in this study, with the key finding being that co-operation in tourism is emerging as a major constituent of the burgeoning economic diplomacy between South Africa and China. (AJ) Title: Teambuilding activities for classes of children in inclusion. Objective: The main aim of this thesis was the creation of a methodology for an activity called "team building" for classes, which the disabled pupil was integrated into. The main aim was to support the positive creation of relationships within the class team and influencing of classmates' attitudes to the inclusion of an individual with a disability into physical education. In the sub-aim, we researched if it is possible to change the attitudes of pupils to a pupil in inclusion in school physical education with the help of team building activities. Method: Under the terms of theoretical - empirical work, the methodology of the one-day programme with sports elements and experience teaching was proposed and tested, hereinafter team building. It was aimed at improvement of accepting the pupils with a disability, at an improvement of social relationships in a group and generally at the change of the attitudes to inclusion in physical education. The programme was tested on a research group of the pupils of the sixth grade of primary school (number of pupils 19, average age 12) with free integrated pupils with special educational Leeds. Nachdem Unternehmen sich bisher eher mit der Reorganisation interner Prozesse beschäftigt haben, richtet sich der Blick nunmehr auf unternehmensübergreifende Geschäftsprozesse. Für das Logistikmanagement stellt insbesondere die kooperative Zusammenarbeit entlang der Wertschöpfungskette (vertikale Kooperationen) ein immer wichtiger werdendes Aufgabenfeld dar. Hierbei geht es darum, die logistischen Prozesse, die entlang der Versorgungskette (Supply Chain) auftreten, zur Kundenzufriedenheit zu gestalten. Eine Alternative, um die Produktionsund Logistikprozesse bei Beteiligung mehrerer rechtlich selbstständiger Unternehmen zu koordinieren, ist das Konzept des Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), bei dem der Zulieferer die Disposition der Lagerbestände beim Abnehmer durchführt. Dieser Beitrag stellt das Konzept sowie verschiedene Ausgestaltungsvarianten vor. / Following reorganisation of their internal business processes, many firms are now concentrating on inter-company processes. Cooperation along the value chain (vertical cooperation) is becoming an ever more important task in logistics management. The objective is to manage logistics processes along the supply chain in a manner which promotes customer satisfaction. Vendor-managed inventory (VMI) is one concept able to coordinate the production and logistics processes between several legally independent companies, placing responsibility for management of the customer’s inventory in the hands of the supplier. The presented thesis focuses on the phenomenon of the cooperation of rural municipalities. The cooperative mechanism is one of possible ways for small municipalities to solve problems resulting from their limited financial, material and human resources. The cooperation with neighbouring municipalities or other actors of spatial development allows them to realize projects and activities, that they otherwise could not realize themselves because of the costs or spatial extent of the project or activity beyond their territory. The main objective of the thesis is to classify several types of the cooperation in rural region and to apply these classifications to the model region. First the fundamental theoretical background and external and internal factors affecting the cooperation of municipalities are discussed. Further several classifications of the cooperation were compiled based on theoretical findings and recent research results. As research method, applied in model region, guided interviews with representatives of the selected rural municipalities were chosen. Abstract:‘Läslyftet’ is a national project initiated by The National Agency of Education in which they wish to increase Swedish pupils’ ability to read and write, especially in the primary school forms but also in the secondary ones. The aim with this survey has been to look into how some well-experienced teachers have understood the project, and if they could spot its strengths and short-comings at an early stage. The questions presented in this thesis were: what experiences did the teachers make of the project and also what implications could this experience have for children with special needs? The perspective presented is the socio-cultural together with relational pedagogics in which you study the importance of the social environment as well as the relationship between the persons involved in a learning situation. Different aspects are here important in order for the teachers to comprehend and see the importance and use of the project. By carrying out qualitative interviews with six different upper-secondary schoolteachers, inspired by the phenomenological method, I have tried to picture the single teacher’s understanding of the project. The out-come of the interviews indicate that the different methods presented in ‘Läslyftet’ may, if well understood and used thoroughly, give the teachers some extra tools and strategies to work with and benefit co-operation in the class-room. The teachers need extra time though in order to carry it out, especially extra lesson-time. However, since the exercises and the strategies within the project always include all students in a class, it may be considered an inclusive way of working and thereby it may also be in some aspects beneficial for the students who struggle with their learning. The implications of this survey suggest that when you organize a project of this size and expect it to have some sort of positive out-come it is important not only to arrange for the teachers to meet and study but also give them extra scheduled time with the students in order to implement the new tools and strategies. If the teachers should have the opportunity to meet all the students, including the ones who are struggling with school and their learning, they need time. It is also important to make sure that all the teachers fully understand the project and can see the benefits in it, in order to pass it on to the students.
