Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na řešení problému praskání těsnících kuželů na tělesech railů při zkoušce dlouhodobé životnosti pomocí pulzního vysokotlakého testu. Hlavní částí je analýza vlivu těsnících zátek na namáhání těsnícího kuželu s následným návrhem nové zátky, která bude tvořit stejné nebo podobné zatížení všech komponent při pulzním testu jako vysokotlaká trubka, která se používá v sériové produkci. Další částí je ověření vlastností nové zátky pomocí vysokotlakého pulzního testu.

Modelling of high-pressure fuel system for controller development

This master thesis treats the modelling of a common-rail direct fuel injection system where pressure generation is decoupled from the injection process. It has been shown that the fuel pressure plays a vital role for the general performance of the engine, affecting both emissions and efficiency, and it is carefully regulated to achieve optimal performance at different operating points. In an attempt to facilitate the development of the responsible control algorithms, a simulation framework has been requested. A model describing the complete work cycle of the high-pressure fuel system is developed and implemented in a Simulink environment. It is to a large extent based on the underlying physics and constructed in a modular manner, which allows for different engine configurations to be simulated. The modelled pressure signal is compared to experimental data at different operating points with promising results in capturing the transient behaviour from a low-level perspective. Additionally, it manages to replicate some of the pressure oscillations which has been observed in the real system and it shows good response to changes in the input signals. However, there are some areas which are subject to improvement since capturing the static pressure levels over longer drive cycles has proved to be a difficult task. Overall, the developed model serves as a starting point for future development and validation of control algorithms.

L'objectif de ce travail a été de proposer une méthode de détection de défaut sur le système d'injection directe à haute pression (le système Common Rail) mis en place sur les véhicules Diesel. L'importance de l'implémentation d'une procédure de détection de défauts a été mise en évidence grâce à la description des enjeux (baisse de la consommation, diminution des émissions polluantes et sonores, augmentation des performances) et des contraintes liées au Common Rail (haute pression, haute fréquence, lubrification par le gasoil, usinage de haute précision, respect des normes EURO, ...) mais aussi à travers un listing des pannes pouvant survenir sur le Common Rail. Un état de l'art sur les différentes méthodes de diagnostic des systèmes a permis de dégager une méthode de détection de défaut répondant aux performances attendues (détection du défaut naissant, rapidité de détection, isolation et caractérisation des défauts détectés ainsi que minimiser les fausses alarmes et les mauvaises détections). Après une étude approfondie (propriétés,<br />formulations séquentielles et étude de sensibilité) de la méthode de détection choisie (observateurs<br />à mémoire finie) et une modélisation du comportement des différents organes du Common Rail, l'algorithme de détection a été testé sur trois modélisations différentes du système Common Rail.<br />De plus, la comparaison entre l'observateur à mémoire finie et un observateur de Luenberger et un<br />filtre de Kalman ont permis d'apprécier le degré de robustesse des résidus. Dans l'ensemble, les résultats obtenus permettent de conclure sur la bonne détection des défauts actionneurs et capteurs.

This diploma thesis is about integration process of assembly line automation on rail assembly. In the beginning is introduced Bosch Company, then follows up theoretical part about automation and assembly lines. After theoretical introduction continues description of current state of rail assembly and choice the best line for automation and its detailed description. After that, the work deals with finding of the best solution for line automation. Found solutions are evaluated using the decision matrix. After the best one of them is chosen. There is also calculation of investments, because the one of important conditions is, that payback period has to be less than two years. Next step is choice of the most suitable supplier and integrator, which can cope with all requirements. At the end of thesis is analysis of risks done and thanks to this, are potentials for improvement of workplace safety found.

The thesis is focused on determining the methodology of engine diagnostics for vehicles with common rail direct fuel injection. The first section describes the communication between the diagnostic tools and control units, and the common rail system for diesel engines. The next section specifies the procedure for the acquisition, processing and analysis of data using selective diagnostic tools along with software in a numerical computing environment. Subsequently, from the results, the equivalent electronic control of the fuel injection quantity is established for the purpose of research, vehicle servicing. The results may also allow for additional observations to be made.

Mainly it is about the application of the high pressure fuel pump, fuel rail and injectors. With regard to the used components are appropriate adjustments made on the engine, and then checked using the available calculations. Brief mention is given to the theoretical summary of the contemporary state of applied injection system and its development trend. Selecting adjustments is primarily based on observed operating load. However, it is also striving to their simplest implementation. An integral part of this work is drawing documentation of newly designed components.

The aim of this work is make a new design and technology of the low-pressure output part of rail which is made in BOSCH DIESEL s.r.o. company. In the thesis is analyzed in detail the bending test, which is part of the quality control of the low-pressure welding joint. In the next part of the thesis is proposed the process of machining of this component, followed by experimental finding of welding parameters for resistance welding. Then several pieces are welded, which are measured and tested. The results of this tests are compared with customer requirements. Finally, a technical and economic evaluation of the change is made, which will save a considerable amount of money for the company.
