Optimalizace uspořádání lisovací linky na výrobu reflektorů ve firmě Automotive Lighting / Optimum layout of pressing line for the production of reflectors at Automotive Lighting

Šťastný, Michal January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with optimization of a press line part for the manufacture of reflectors present at the Automotive Lighting Company, Jihlava. The first part focuses on describing the current workplace layout of the press line. The workplaces are located inconveniently and thus require a larger number of operators and a considerable amount of manual work. The second part of the thesis proposes layout solutions for the injection presses and for other machine parts. At the same time, a smoother transition design is proposed for the press line and for the manufacturing section that follows. Based on an evaluation of selected criteria, the optimum version is chosen, thereby adding to the efficiency of the molding process by reducing the number of operators required, by lowering the proportion of manual work relative to other activities, and by limiting the risk of poor quality. The conclusion of the thesis sums up the necessary investment costs and offers an economic assessment of introducing the selected press line arrangement to operation.

Simulation der Vibrationsfördergeschwindigkeit mit 1D-Mechanik Modulen in SimulationX

Kuhn, Christian, Risch, Thomas, Golder, Markus 05 November 2020 (has links)
Vibration conveyors are technical systems which generate a stream of materials on basis of vibrations. The vibrations lead to continuous change between acceleration forces and friction. In the practical operation high conveying speeds shall be accomplished with a defined use of the driving force. In this article a simulation model in the software SimulationX is introduced which utilities basic mechanical correlations to calculate the conveying speed. With the help of the presented model influences of vibration movement curve on the conveying speed can be portrayed and analyzed.

High-Speed Conveying System

Hübler, Jörg, Dallinger, Niels January 2017 (has links)
Increasingly higher and higher conveyor speeds are driven in industrial manufacturing. This goes along with a significant rise of the sound pressure level in the production lines. The main cause of this is the articulated and multi-articulated construction of standard plastic-slide-chains in conveyor systems. This condition could be significantly improved by the use of a nonarticulated attraction in the form of a transport toothed belt. In addition, the conveying speeds could be significantly increased. Modifications to the belt teeth provide fastening possibilities for plastic support plates.

Opportunities, Challenges and Use Cases of Digitization within the Semiconductor Industry

Schneider, Germar, Keil, Sophia, Luhn, Gerhard 16 September 2019 (has links)
Over the last years, Infineon Dresden Technologies has continuously been working on offering innovative products and enhancing the productivity of their wafer fabrication areas by increasing fab capacities as well as increasing automation in their 200 and 300 mm wafer manufacturing plants to improve productivity. One of the most important success factors is use of powerful automated material handling systems (AMHS) combined with the digitization of core processes within the whole company. Digitization supports converting a highly automated fab into a “smart fab” by horizontal and vertical integration of the internal supply chains. Within this paper, the authors provide an overview of three use cases for continuous improvement of the manufacturing process through use of automation and digitization to enhance the profitability of the semiconductor manufacturing plant.

Design and evaluation of a shock load resistant dynamic chain plate / Design och utvärdering av en stöttålig dynamisk kedjeplatta

Olsson, Daniel January 2022 (has links)
Conveyor chains are often subject to repetitive shock loads during normal operations. This can cause accelerated wear in the chain leading to premature chain replacementor chain failure (Otoshi, 1997, p. 4). In this thesis a new approach for reducingshock load related wear in conveyor chains is proposed. The scope and objective ofthis project is to investigate the shock load phenomenon and develop a dynamic pinlink chain plate. A study into chain wear and shock loads of chain driven conveyorswas made to identify problem areas. Additionally, a Simulink model was created tosimulate the influence of shock loads on conveyor chains. Common wear as a result ofshock loads are identified as pin failure, bushing failure, scuffing, chain plate failure, fatigue and chain elongation, (Otoshi, 1997, p. 76-78). Nine concepts were drafted and evaluated using methods described in (Ulrich &Eppinger, 2016). The concepts were simulated using Finite Element Analysis (FEA)and two concept iterations, Concept B v.3 and Concept C v.3, were manufacturedfor static tensile tests using two different setups and Digital Image Correlation (DIC)system for additional strain measuring. The breaking load for Concept B v.3 andConcept C v.3 is 105 and 70 kN respectively. The approximate yield strength ofConcept B v.3 is 11 kN and 40 kN for Concept C v.3. The Fatigue limit was estimatedto 10 kN for Concept B v.3 and 20 kN for Concept C v.3. A nonlinear FEA for Concept C v.3 and Concept B v.3 provided additional insightinto the behaviour of the pin link chain plates during high stress concentrations. While neither the linear static nor nonlinear static analyses managed to accuratelypredict the behaviour of Concept B v.3, the simulated results of Concept C v.3 werein line with the observed tensile tests. From the results it is concluded that a dynamic chain plate in the form of ConceptC v.3 has the potential to reduce the magnitude of the force in the chain imposedby shock loads, while still following the current ISO standard for conveyor chains. The resulting design proposition provides an easy to manufacture high strength chainplate with increased elastic properties.Future work should be focused on determining the fatigue life and shock load resistanceof the developed chain plate. It is recommended that material selection is focused onwear and fatigue resistant materials and that both simulated and physical dynamictesting is performed.

Gajdoš, Adam January 2016 (has links)
The aim of the thesis was design of reconnection-less and electronically reconfigurable filters of SISO type with non-traditional active elements. Adjustability of bandwidth or quality factor is also required. First part of the thesis deals with theoretical analysis of filters, their operation modes and design of frequency filters using Signal-flow graph method aswell. Last but not least, electronical reconfiguration of transfer function and parasitic analysis was discussed. Another part describes active elements used in the practical part of thesis. Behaviors and design of active elements using existing circuits (e.g. UCC,EL2082) are described and their transformation into the Signal-flow graph form too. In the practical part five reconnection-less and reconfigurable filters of SISO type was designed using SNAP program. Simulations were done using Orcad program with ideal and real simulation models of active elements. Last part deals with filter design in EAGLE and experimental measurement.
