Orientador: Sonia Regina Albano De Lima / Banca: Mário Fernando Bolognesi / Banca: Fábio Cardoso de Melo Cintra / Resumo: Este trabalho teve como proposta investigar os aspectos da prática do canto (em grupo ou individual) que pode m ser úteis para atores e estudantes de teatro, especialmente no âmbito vocal (voz falada e cantada). Para isso foi utilizada a pesquisa-ação, sendo que a pesquisadora participou ativamente do processo ensino/aprendizagem. Essa metodologia foi escolhida porque se aplica muito bem à atividade pedagógica interdisciplinar, com sua característica dinâmica e complexa. A pesquisa se justifica porque o mercado de trabalho teatral tem exigido cada vez mais profissionais versáteis, porém os cursos (tanto de nível técnico quanto superior) não suprem essas necessidades. Os autores mais importantes para fundamentar a pesquisa foram Constantin Stanislavski e Eugênio Kusnet (na área do teatro), Cicely Berry, Mara Behlau e Sara Pereira Lopes (na área da voz). Na elaboração da pesquisa foram discutidos e avaliados os treinamentos vocais (individuais e coletivos) e algumas canções (melodias simples em português, francês, italiano e inglês) produzidas nos cursos e nas atividades musicais liderados pela mestranda. Foram recolhidas narrativas e depoimentos deixados pelos participantes, que refletiram sobre a relação canto/fala para o ator. Ao longo do trabalho foi observado que, devido aos exercícios cantados aplicados durante o treinamento, os atores desenvolveram maior consciência na emissão vocal, aprimorando não só os aspectos musicais, mas também sua voz falada, tanto no palco qua nto na vida cotidiana. Esta pesquisa também demonstrou que o canto pode estimular o ator a explorar a variedade timbrística, ampliar a extensão da voz cantada, maior controle da respiração, melhorar a projeção e intensidade da voz (cantada e falada). Ao mesmo tempo, foi observado um aprimoramento da audição desses alunos, permitindo -lhes ampliar sua percepção sonora (sons cantados, falados, ... / Abstract: This dissertation had the purpose to investigate aspects of the practice of singing (group or individual) that can be useful for actors and drama students , in particular the vocal scope (speaking and singing). For that aim the action-research methodology was useful, (because) the researcher had active participation in the process. This methodology was chosen because it applies very well to the interdisciplinary pedagogical activity, with its dynamic and complex feature. The research is justified because the labor market for theatrical work has required increasingly versatilities, but the professional courses (both technical and university level) do not meet these needs. The most important authors to support this research were Constantin Stanislavski and Eugênio Kusnet (theather area), Cicely Berry, Mara Behlau and Sara Pereira Lopes (voice area). During the research some vocal training (individual and collect ive) were discussed and evaluated, also performing some songs (simple tunes in Portuguese, French, Italian an English). Testimonies left by participants were collected. These narratives pondered about relation between singing/speaking to the actor. Throughout the research was observed the singing exercises developed in the actors an awareness of your own voice emission, improving not only musical aspects, but also their speaking voice, both on stage and everyday life. This research also demonstrated that singing can stimulate the actor to explore his tone color variety, extend the range of the singing voice, greater control of breathing, improvement of the voice's projection and intensity (singing or speaking). At the same time, it was observed an improvement of the hearing, allowing his sound perception to expand (singing sounds, speaking, instrumental, noises). [pt] O presente estudo orientado por um processo reflexivo, mostra a possibilidade de construção de novas identidades através do envolvimento com a música e a religião. Como referência destaca a trajetória da Banda Gospel Javé, formada ainda na prisão e hoje composta por egressos do sistema prisional. Após o cumprimento da pena seus integrantes continuam engajados num projeto musical que se desenvolve com apresentações em igrejas e eventos religiosos. A pesquisa revelou que a música é uma forma de expressarem suas emoções e compartilharem a mensagem religiosa que professam. Além disso, permitiu ampliar a compreensão da importância do significado das manifestações culturais especificamente da música e da crença, como alternativas de novas formas de inclusão social para egressos do sistema prisional. / [en] The present study guided for a reflective process, it shows to the possibility of construction of new identities through the envolvement with music and the religion. As reference we mention the trajectory of the Band gospel Javé, formed still in the prision and nowsday composed for egresses of the prisional system. After the fulfilment of the penalty its integrant ones continue engaged in a musical project that if develops with presentations in churches and religious events. The academic research disclosed that the music is a form to express its emotions and to share the religious message that they profess. Moreover, it allowed specifically to extend the understanding of the importance of the meaning of the cultural manifestations of music and the belief, as alternative for new forms of social reintegration for egresses of the prisional system.

La ricerca consiste nell’edizione e traduzione del trattato ‘Practica musice’ di Franchino Gaffurio corredata da apparati critici e storico-contestuali. Si inizia con la biografia dell’autore redatta secondo gli ultimi dati disponibili e si presenta una esposizione del contenuto del trattato con proposte di chiarimenti dei passi più oscuri. Segue quindi uno studio dei cambiamenti intercorsi tra le parti del trattato come trasmesse nei manoscritti preparatori e la sua versione finale a stampa, seguito da una indagine sulle edizioni successive all’editio princeps, con tabelle sulle varianti tra le edizioni. Vengono quindi offerte la trascrizione interpretativa del testo latino del trattato (che può essere considerata la più corretta attualmente disponibile ed è l’unica a riportare numeri di partizione testuale) seguita dalla sua traduzione in italiano, con trascrizione degli esempi musicali. Il trattato, diviso in quattro libri, ha per argomenti rispettivamente il cantus planus e le scale modali gregoriane, la musica misurata e le figure della notazione, l’arte del contrappunto e la più ampia casistica disponibile sulle proporzioni ritmiche. / The research consists in the edition and translation of the Treatise 'Practica musice' by Franchino Gaffurio, accompanied by critical, historical and contextual commentary. It begins with the author's biography prepared according to the latest available data and presents an exposition of the treatise’s contents, with proposals for clarification of the obscurest passages. This is followed by a study of the changes between the manuscripts’ preliminary versions and the final printed edition and a survey of the editions following editio princeps, with tables on the variants between editions. It then offers the interpretive transcription of the Latin text of the treatise (which can be considered the most correct and is the only currently available to report numbers of text division) followed by its translation into Italian, with transcription of the musical examples. The treatise, divided into four books, deals with, respectively, cantus planus and gregorian modal scales, measured music and the figures of notation, the art of counterpoint and the broadest illustration available on rhythmical proportions.
