In the field of design, design and creativity are inherent in the activity of the designer and together constitute the raw material of innovation. Drawing allows the visualization of ideas, facilitating the organization and the task of communicating the thought in the course of the creative process. We interviewed ten experienced product designers working in the city of São Paulo, in their working environment. Their work experience is at least 15 years. In order to study the designer’s creative process and his or her relations with the market, we rely on the systemic model of creativity proposed by Csikzentmihalyi who considers appropriate to study design as an applied social science, since it emphasizes the creativity related to external as well as internal factors. Creativity results from the integration of the subject -- the designer -- in a domain -- the design -- defined in a field of action in a society. The analysis of the interviewees’ reports, the observation of the materials used the relationships with clients and work partners allowed a better understanding of the design and its relations with the creative processes in design. We concluded that drawing manifests itself in various forms and expands with actions that go far beyond the drawing on paper, such as three-dimensional elaborations, collages, photographic records, use of forms and materials found at random, they all can serve to communicate and make feasible concretization of what the designer imagined. The popularization of the computational technologies or IT has been operating modifications in culture, as well as in design, and it can be seen in many stages of the project. Finally, we came to the conclusion that the creative processes in design value the design in an expanded concept, extended to the use of different materials, that take into account improvisation. The first forms that appear in the creative process absorbs the changes made into computers, thus constituting a new way of drawing. / A pesquisa investiga os meios expressivos utilizados pelo designer de produto para externar sua imaginação projetual. No campo do design o desenho e a criatividade são inerentes a atividade do designer e juntos constituem a matéria-prima da inovação. O desenhar permite a visualização de ideias, facilitando a organização e a tarefa de comunicar o pensamento no decorrer do processo criativo. Foram entrevistados dez designers de produto atuantes na cidade de São Paulo, em seu ambiente de trabalho, com experiência mínima de 15 anos de profissão. Para estudar o processo criativo do designer e suas relações com o campo nos apoiamos no modelo sistêmico de criatividade proposto por Csikzentmihalyi, por considerarmos adequado ao estudo do design como ciência social aplicada, pois destaca a criatividade relacionada a fatores externos, além de internos, ao sujeito. A criatividade resulta da integração do sujeito, o designer, num domínio, o design, definido num campo de atuação na sociedade. A análise dos relatos dos entrevistados, a observação dos materiais utilizados, relações com clientes e parceiros de trabalho, permitiu a melhor compreensão do desenho e suas relações com os processos criativos em design. Verificou-se que o desenho se manifesta em diversas formas e se expande com ações que vão muito além do traçado em papel, como elaborações tridimensionais, colagens, registros fotográficos, aproveitamento de formas e materiais encontrados ao acaso, podem servir para comunicar e viabilizar a concretização daquilo que se imaginou. A popularização das tecnologias computacionais vem operando modificações nos diversos âmbitos da cultura, bem como no design, aproveitadas nas diversas etapas do projeto. Conclui-se que os processos de criação em design valorizam o desenho num conceito expandido, ampliado ao uso de materiais diversos para a improvisação das primeiras formas que surgem no processo criativo, absorvendo idas e vindas aos meios computacionais, unidas às diversas formas do desenhar.

Extensive solutions of Business Intelligence consist of wide range of projects. One of them is generating of reporting layer whose part is setting of dashboards. This diploma thesis deals with dashboards and tools serving to their formation. In the first part of the thesis there is explained the theory of dashboards in current company informatics. Consequently there is created a set of evaluative criteria helping with mutual comparison of the tool for the forming of dashboards, which is the primary aim of the thesis. In the last part of the thesis there is a presentation and evaluation of one selected tool (Dashboard Designer) according to the criteria stated in the thesis. During the evaluation of the tool it is possible to verify some of the criteria on the basis of practical experience. That is why the demonstrative implementation of Dashboard Designer over the test data is shown. Thus the second aim of the diploma thesis is completed. Aforementioned targets are achieved on account of pieces of knowledge about dashboards coming especially from the literature published by authorities in the line of business and from background research concerned with contemporary approach to the evaluation of tool for the forming of dashboards. In addition to formed criteria this diploma thesis can be instrumental to further discussion about dashboards and their role in current company informatics.

Simulação digital utilizada para desenvolvimento de um projeto automobilístico / Simulation digital used for development of an automotive project

Diante de um cenário automobilístico que consiste em uma busca incessante por reduções de custos e de tempo para um projeto a importância da simulação digital se destaca de forma contundente pois permite a antecipação de problemas bem como implementação de ações para resolvê-los ainda durante a fase digital, o que remete a uma redução de custos e de tempo. Um dos principais objetivos das montadoras a cada lançamento de um novo veículo é a manutenção e incremento das vendas, não levando em conta somente a divisão de mercado que cada montadora possui, mas também a quantidade real de carros que cada montadora vende. Com o cenário competitivo e a necessidade de aumentar o número de carros vendidos, faz-se necessário o desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias para redução de tempo e de custos necessários para realizar um lançamento de um veículo. Uma técnica rotineiramente utilizada dentre as montadoras é de produzir em um país um veículo que já é produzido em outro país, porém para que isso ocorra com sucesso, faz-se necessário um estudo mercadológico para identificação de possíveis modificações necessárias para atender não somente a legislação vigente do País, mas também as necessidades desse novo mercado. Para conseguir programar essas modificações necessárias nos produtos e garantir um lançamento mais enxuto tanto em tempo como em custos, o uso de ferramentas computacionais passa a ser cada vez mais utilizados. O objetivo do presente trabalho é a verificação dos resultados na prática da utilização da metodologia de simulação digital não mais focada no desenvolvimento do processo e sim no desenvolvimento de uma adaptação necessária ao veículo, porém sem perder a sinergia com o processo já desenvolvido e implantado em outra planta do grupo. Foram obtidas significativas reduções de tempo e de custos devido à utilização desta metodologia, e com os resultados obtidos é possível auxiliar no planejamento da modernização de um veículo já existente, buscando-se alternativas para diminuição do tempo de lançamento, bem como no estudo de diversas possibilidades de produto para minimizar os impactos financeiros no desenvolvimento posteriormente do processo. Para o teste computacional, foram utilizados os softwares comerciais de simulação Catia e Process Designer. Este estudo delimita-se a aplicação do conceito de simulação digital na implementação de um projeto na unidade de Taubaté, cidade do Estado de São Paulo. / One of the automakers main goals in each new vehicle launching is to keep and increase sales, always focused not only in the market share, but also increasing the number of vehicles sales. In addition to this situation, there is also a more competitive market, with more automakers offering more variety and modern cars, with these challenges the automakers need to develop a new manner to reduce the vehicle launch timing and costs. A method already used among the automakers is to produce in such country a vehicle that is already assembled in another country, but to succeed it is required a marketing analysis to identify possible required modifications to accomplish with not only legal aspects but also the needs of the new market. In order to execute those product modifications and guarantee a leaner launch regarding timing and costs, the automakers start using computational tools to achieve this goal. The present study has the objective to share the results of using digital simulation methodology, when used to make the vehicle improvements to sell these cars on the domestic market, focused in product engineering, keeping the synergy with the process already developed and installed in any other country. It was achieved relevant results regarding development time and cost reduction with this methodology. To the computational tests, it was used the softwares catia and process designer. The obtained results may be used to better plan the modernization of an existing vehicle, seeking for alternatives to reduce the launch timing, as well checking the different product possibilities to minimize financial development impacts after the launch process.

Prezentace lokální módy v českých lifestylových magazínech / Presentation of a local fashion in Czech lifestyle magazines

The Czech fashion industry is constantly in progress and has growth potential. However, it still has significant deficiencies. The thesis focuses on local fashion and its presentation in Czech lifestyle magazines. The primary quantitative research focused on examining the Czech lifestyle fashion magazine's environment and determining in what context and how often these media write about local fashion and its designers. Through the content analysis, the three fashion titles (Vogue CS, Elle, and Harper's Bazaar) were examined during the period between August 2018 and December 2020. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the topic introduction, where deals with fashion and fashion journalism evolution. Then, the current situation in both fields is described. The methodological part consists of a theoretical basis, literary review, and research design. Three research questions and four hypotheses were formulated within this paper. Research results suggest that Czech fashion media outputs regarding the local fashion are mostly connected with Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week via online editorial articles.

The goal of this diploma thesis is the design and implementation of an application for generating and printing address labels in the SAP system. The work also explains the basic concepts of the SAP system and describes the technologies for creating print forms as SAP Adobe Form and SAP SmartForm. Lastly, it describes the solution of printing 1D and 2D barcodes and setting up the communication between the SAP system and the printer. The result of this work is an analysis of form creation, subsequent design of a solution for generating forms as address label, sheet of 21 address labels, Czech Post delivery notes, Czech Post delivery sheet and its implementation in the SAP system. The conclusion of the work is testing the created solution and proposing future improvements.

The present paper deals with the problematics of the design and technology of planar microelectronic structures for the hign frequency band. These structures were realised on the Department of Microelectronics and their properties were measured on the Department of Radioelectronics. The part of this work is also simulation of some microelectronic structures, where for these simulations the design and simulation tool Ansoft Designer and the FEM tool ANSYS was used. The attention is paid to the discrete devices (coils and capacitors) as well as to the more complex structures (frequency filters). The paper yields the new findings in the field of the design and technology of the discrete components as well as of the more complex systems, these findings can be used as the basis for another research of practical applications.

First, the work describes the signal processing in the physical layer LTE system, for downlink and uplink. Subsequently, it was made simple block diagram. The next part deals with models of signal propagation in the radio environment. The last part is an introduction to the ICS Designer. This section describes the base station design and demonstration of some simulations. The last part is devoted to the design of the mobile network in the given area, its simulation and subsequent comparison with the existing mobile network.
