Factores que determinaron el incremento de las importaciones de los dispositivos médicos chinos de la categoría desechables en lima, perú, en el periodo de 2016-2019

La presente investigación busca identificar y analizar los factores que incrementaron las importaciones Chinas de Dispositivos Médicos, en la categoría desechables en el periodo, 2016-2019, las cuales tuvieron un crecimiento del 58% del valor CIF. En el Perú el 98% de Dispositivos Médicos son importados lo cual indica una gran necesidad para abastecer al mercado nacional. Por lo cual estudiaremos las categorías como: Requisitos y costos de importación, TLC Perú-China y el avance tecnológico. Se estableció el marco teórico, se detalló la metodología de la investigación y se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo, para recopilar la información se realizaron encuestas a la muestra conformada por 09 entrevistados, los cuales son importadores de Dispositivos Médicos Chinos, posterior a esto la información será analizada a través del programa Atlas Ti. Finalmente, se presentaron las conclusiones y recomendaciones de la investigación donde se logró validar la hipótesis general. De este modo se validó las categorías, sub categorías. y dos nuevos hallazgos. Además, se recomendó para futuros estudios realizar una investigación cuantitativa para tener otra perspectiva del sector. / This research seeks to identify and analyze the factors that increased Chinese imports of medical devices, in the disposable category in the period, 2016-2019, which had a growth of 58% of the CIF value. In Peru, 98% of Medical Devices are imported which indicates a great need to supply the national market. Therefore, we will study categories such as: Import requirements and costs, Peru-China FTA and technological advance. The theoretical framework was established, the research methodology was detailed and a qualitative approach was used, to collect the information, surveys were conducted on the sample made up of 09 interviewees, who are importers of Chinese Medical Devices, after this the information will analyzed through the Atlas Ti program. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations of the research were presented where the general hypothesis was validated. In this way, the categories and sub categories were validated. and two new finds. In addition, it was recommended for future studies to carry out a quantitative investigation to have another perspective of the sector. / Tesis

Una de las principales causas del crecimiento económico del Perú es la integración comercial con el mundo, lo que ha originado la firma de 20 acuerdos comerciales, entre ellos el TLC con China, que ha permitido el incremento de las importaciones de dispositivos médicos provenientes de ese país, impulsados por su bajo costo y la reducción de los aranceles de importación. Sin embargo, la oferta es insuficiente para atender al mercado nacional. A pesar de haber grandes importadores como 3M Perú, Laboratorios Americanos o Utilitarios Médicos, ninguno asume una posición de dominio de mercado, no tienen mayor influencia en los precios, por lo que podemos deducir que estamos ante un mercado competitivo. Esto es una oportunidad para las Mypes, que al 2017 representaban el 99.4% del total de empresas en el Perú. La mayor concentración está en Lima, siendo la zona Centro la principal ubicación de estas empresas. Esta tesis ha sido realizada debido a la necesidad de descubrir el impacto de los factores internos y externos que influyen en las micro y pequeñas empresas, ubicadas en Lima Cercado, que importan dispositivos médicos desde China, puesto que, al tener un conocimiento profundo de estos factores, permitirá guiar a aquellos emprendedores que deseen invertir, dándoles herramientas que ahonde su conocimiento en el sector y a los actuales empresarios que buscan la reducción de riesgos en sus procesos de importación, a efectos de volverse más competitivos. Además, deseamos que nuestra tesis sirva como antecedente para próximas investigaciones vinculadas al sector. / One of the main reasons of Peru's economic growth is trade integration with the world, which has led to the signing of 20 trade agreements, including the FTA with China, which has allowed the increase in medical device’s imports from that country, driven by its low cost and the reduction of import tariffs. However, the offer is insufficient to serve the national market. Despite having large importers such as 3M Peru, American Laboratories or Medical Utilities, none assumes a position of market dominance, they do not have a greater influence on prices, so we can deduce that we are facing a competitive market. This is an opportunity to Mypes, which as of 2017 represented 99.4% of all companies in Peru. The highest concentration is in Lima, with the Central area being the main location for these companies. This thesis has been realized due to the need to discover the impact of internal and external factors influences micro and small companies, located in Lima Cercado, which imports medical devices from China, since, having a deep knowledge of these factors, it will allow to guide those entrepreneurs who wish to invest, giving them tools to deep their knowledge in the sector and current entrepreneurs who seek to reduce risks in their import processes, to become more competitive. In addition, we want our thesis to serve as an antecedent for future research related to the sector. / Tesis

Essa questão é relevante uma vez que a competição no mercado é elevada e a diferenciação pela adição de serviços pode ser uma opção para se manter competitivo. Nesse contexto, o objetivo desse trabalho foi investigar como a servitização em seus diferentes níveis pode impactar a percepção de valor do cliente. Utilizou-se as teorias de criação e cocriação de valor, a lógica dominante de serviço, servitização e seus diferentes níveis, bem como o cuidado baseado em valor de forma a entender a relação entre fornecedor e hospital e como a percepção de valor deste é relevante para a escolha de produtos e serviços. A pesquisa de campo foi de natureza qualitativa. Foi conduzido um estudo de caso na instituição Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo. Análise de documentos, observações e entrevistas não estruturadas com gestores da instituição foram utilizadas para a coleta de dados. Os principais resultados obtidos foram: serviços agregados são determinantes como potencial competitivo para as empresas; o balanço adequado entre flexibilidade na customização de sistemas produto-serviço e a padronização para otimizar custos é algo essencial para a competitividade; e quanto maior o nível de servitização e o consequente grau de complexidade na tomada de decisão, maior o grau de confiança necessário entre os atores. Esse estudo apresentou como principais contribuições gerenciais, a revelação de como a servitização e seus níveis podem contribuir para aumentar a percepção de valor de hospitais em relação a seus fornecedores; como os diferentes níveis de sistema produto-serviço podem ser traduzidos para o mercado de saúde; e a caracterização de um nível complexo de servitização que é aderente à ideia de cuidado baseado em valor. / This work is about servitization and value creation in medical devices and equipment supply relationships in Brazil. This issue is relevant since the competitive and complex health care market environment make suppliers search differentiation new ways offering proposals with higher added value. Therefore, this work objective is to investigate how servitization and its different levels can impact the value perception. Value creation and co-creation, servicedominant logic, servitization and its different levels, and value based health care theories were considered to understand the relationship between supplier and hospital and how its value perception is relevant for products and services selection. The field research was qualitative. A case study was conducted in Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo institution. Documents analysis, observations and unstructured interviews with institution managers were used to data collection. The main results were: added services are determinants in companies’ competitive potential; the adequate balance between flexibility in product-service systems customization and standardization to optimize costs is essential to competitiveness; and the higher the servitization level and its consequent complexity level, the bigger trust level is necessary between the stakeholders. This study main contributions are the disclosure of how servitization and its levels can contribute to increase hospital’s value perception related to suppliers, how different product-service systems levels can be translated the health care market, and the description of the most complex level of servitization and its adherence to the value-based health care.

La presente tesis tiene por finalidad identificar los obstáculos excesivos que limitan la importación de dispositivos médicos en la subpartida nacional 90.18.39.00.10 con descripción comercial “los demás conjuntos para hemodiálisis, transfusiones o similares” en el periodo 2019. Los productos comprendidos en la subpartida mencionada están dirigidos al tratamiento de la insuficiencia renal dentro del sistema de salud peruano. En el primer capítulo, se detalla el marco teórico, términos relevantes, los antecedentes de investigación nacionales e internacionales, así como el sustento legal en el cual está enmarcada la presente investigación. En el segundo capítulo, se detalla el plan de investigación, lo cual abarca la realidad problemática, los objetivos e hipótesis principales y específicos. Asimismo, contiene también la justificación de la investigación teórica, práctica y metodológica. El tercer capítulo, detalla la metodología de trabajo. Es decir, el enfoque aplicado, siendo en esta ocasión del tipo cualitativo explicativo. Adicionalmente, se menciona las limitaciones, la población, la muestra, la recolección de datos y los aspectos éticos. En el cuarto capítulo, se lleva a cabo el desarrollo y análisis de resultados. En ese sentido, se detalla la información obtenida mediante la técnica de entrevista de profundidad, manejando un programa de atlas TI. Para el presente documento, se ha elaborado una muestra de las empresas representativas y se ha entrevistado al responsable de comercio exterior y al personal químico farmacéutico. Finalmente, en el quinto, sexto y séptimo capítulo, se presentan la discusión, consideraciones finales y recomendaciones. / The purpose of this thesis is to identify the excessive obstacles that limit the importation of medical devices in the national subheading 90.18.39.00.10 with a commercial description "the other sets for hemodialysis, transfusions or similar" in the period 2019. The products included in the mentioned subheading are aimed at the treatment of kidney failure within the Peruvian health system. In the first chapter, the theoretical framework, relevant terms, the national and international research background are detailed, as well as the legal basis in which this research is framed. In the second chapter, the research plan is detailed, which includes the problematic reality, the main and specific objectives and hypotheses. Likewise, it also contains the justification of the theoretical, practical and methodological research. The third chapter details the work methodology. That is to say, the applied approach, this time being of the qualitative explanatory type. Additionally, the limitations, the population, the sample, the data collection and the ethical aspects are mentioned. In the fourth chapter, the development and analysis of results is carried out. In this sense, the information obtained through the in-depth interview technique is detailed, using an Atlas TI program. For this document, a sample of representative companies has been prepared and the person in charge of foreign trade and the chemical-pharmaceutical staff have been interviewed.
