This diploma thesis deals with a model of internal audit business processes at the bank. The diploma thesis is divided into three parts logically connected, which also fulfill the objectives of this thesis. The first part is theoretical, which means that is based on expressing theoretical assumptions about the studied subject. This is followed by a practical part in which the next objective is fulfilled by the proposed model of internal audit business processes using the methodology MMABP (Methodology for Modeling and Analysis of Business Processes). The thesis ends fulfilling the last objective by setting up appropriate key performance indicators (KPI).

The goal of this paper is to describe process management and a possibility of its implementation in the real medical organization. The first part is devoted to a description of the basic concepts, principles, definitions and procedures of process management, which form the paradigm. The second part deals with the application of process management in the real dental clinic and presents an analysis of the current state and its improvement recommendations, conceptual and process modeling, description of basic levels of medical information systems and recommends criteria for information system selection. Diagrams are created in programs PowerDesigner and Cacoo.com are also included in this paper.

In this contemporary world, when the globalization is on the first place, is possible to satisfy one's needs immediately. Road haulage becomes in last few years a significant market's part, which is necessary to the right function in all branches in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to analyse level of principle operation's research's support in TASW solution for the society, which is directed at road transport. Simultaneously I project a study, which supports a solution for small shippers, who aren't able or willing to acquire an expensive software for haulage entrepreneurship. I characterize issues of transportation's company to achieve my aim and I think about the principle's uses and method of operation's research in process of haulage entrepreneurship. I analyse a situation of operation's research's support with TASW, which is oriented on haulage entrepreneurship. After that I describe a study, where I project a solution for small shippers, which takes in the consideration the components of operation's research in their processes and TASW and this contributes to make the decision of small shippers easier to buy the suitable software for haulage. This thesis is divided into few parts -- at the begging I theoretically follow up haulage entrepreneurship, its division and kind of current freight. I describe the price creation to make really obvious, which knowledge the shipper have to know. I explain particular disciplines of research's operation, which are connected to make more effective the workings of haulage entrepreneurship. I use these results of the theoretical parts to create my own model of haulage entrepreneurship. I analyse the market's system in the Czech market, which is fixed to support process of haulage entrepreneurship, which applies the principles of operation's research. In conclusion I compare the variants of using different types of IS for transport. The biggest benefit of my thesis I see in that also the laymen can understand it. It makes easier to choose a specialized software for haulage entrepreneurship and the process analyse binding on possibly company's analyse and on field operation's research, which enable more effective delivery.

The graduation thesis "Usage of BizAgi in insurance company" is focusing to insurance of large and industry- related risks. The work introduces insurance and reinsurance processes in issue with insurance of industry risks. It also analyzes an actual and desired situation of insurance -- reinsurance industry risks. The main contribution of my thesis is executing data integration from insurance tool Golem to BizAgi application. The thesis describes procedures and possibilities to perform data integration. Work theoretically and practically deals with process management - the process analysis and optimization of business processes in the company. The theoretical part describes the process control and its features and benefits, describes the term of process and the types of processes. The theoretical part also describes the theoretical basis of process analysis. At the end of the theoretical part is the explanation of the concept of business process optimization. In the practical part at first author presents company, which then performs a SWOT analysis of the company. Furthermore, in the practical part is a process analysis of selected business processes in EPC notation. After the analysis, followed by optimization - improve the business processes. The last point of this work is the evaluation of work and conclusion.

Práce analyzuje nové trendy v mezinárodních strategiích firem, rozebírá jejich motivaci k přemísťování svých aktivit a zejména popisuje srovnávací analýzu potenciálních destinací vhodných pro offshoring. Práce uvádí srovnávací analýzu čtyř zemí, Polska, Maďarska, Rumunska a Bulharska z hlediska vhodnosti umístění centra sdílených služeb.

É necessário ter muita clareza sobre o que fazer e como fazer para que uma empresa satisfaça a expectativa do mercado em que atua, e o faça de forma rentável. Assim, a definição de uma estratégia torna-se altamente relevante no ambiente competitivo dos negócios. Uma vez definida sua estratégia, a empresa possui um desafio ainda maior: sua implementação. A implementação de uma estratégia, para ter sucesso, precisa ser constantemente monitorada, pois demanda uma ampla sincronia organizacional, envolvendo todos os seus departamentos. Nesse contexto, este trabalho buscou desenvolver um método de gerenciamento estratégico, a partir do alinhamento dos processos de negócio aos objetivos estratégicos da uma organização, com base nos conceitos de Balanced Scorecard e Business Process Management. Esse método foi aplicado em uma empresa concessionária do setor automotivo, segmento de caminhões e ônibus, e os objetivos atingidos neste trabalho evidenciaram a capacidade do método de contribuir para um melhor desempenho estratégico e operacional. / It is necessary to be clear about what to do and how to do so that a company meets the expectation of the market in which it operates , and do so profitably . Thus, the definition of a strategy becomes highly relevant in the competitive environment of business. Once defined its strategy, the company has an even greater challenge: its implementation. The implementation of a strategy, on the other hand, to succeed, needs to be constantly monitored, since it requires a large organizational synchrony involving all its departments. In this context, this study has developed a method of strategic management, from the alignment of business processes with the strategic objectives of an organization, based on the concepts of Balanced Scorecard and Business Process Management. This method was applied in a dealership of automotive vehicles, segment of trucks and buses, and the objectives achieved in this work demonstrated the method's ability to contribute to a better strategic and operational performance.

Esta integração permitiu uma produção mais enxuta e limpa, do ponto de vista ambiental. Dentro deste contexto, foi possível avaliar o impacto econômico de um caso real na sociedade brasileira. Para sua realização, foi necessário investigar e conhecer os possíveis modelos de negócio e tecnologias aplicáveis a este tipo de mercado, bem como as principais ferramentas mais aplicáveis de análise econômica. Durante esta investigação, fez-se necessário inicialmente realizar um estudo sobre o mercado de biodiesel brasileiro, seus modelos de negócio, sistemas de produção e aplicabilidades quanto a análise insumo-produto no estudo econômico de um caso real. Uma vez definido um modelo apropriado de produção para um caso real, elaborou-se uma análise experimental dos seus impactos na geração de empregos e na produção (Produto Interno Bruto - PIB) brasileira. This integration allowed a leaner and cleaner production, regarding an environmental point of view. Within this context, it was possible to assess the economic impact of a real case in the Brazilian society. For its realization, it was necessary to investigate and understand possible business models and technologies applicable to this type of market as well as the main applicable tools of economic analysis. During this investigation, it was necessary to initially conduct a study on the Brazilian biodiesel market, their business models, production systems and applicability of the input-output analysis in the economic study of a real case. Once set an appropriate production model to a real case, it was elaborated an experimental analysis of the impacts on job creation and Brazilian production (Gross Domestic Product - GDP). Additional results show the importance of the Brazilian biodiesel market and the relevance of an economic study in engineering and business. Em busca da documentação e otimização de seus processos, a área de Business Process Management (BPM) vem cada vez mais atraindo o interesse do meio empresarial, por ser um importante método no auxílio ao ganho de resultados, como redução de custos e aumento de produtividade. Modelar processos, entretanto, não basta. É preciso que se atente para métodos eficientes de armazená-los, permitindo que as informações sejam manipuladas e utilizadas de maneira prática e inteligente. A presente dissertação propõe duas abordagens para armazenamento de modelos de processo, uma em bancos de dados relacionais e outra em bancos de dados orientados a grafos, comparando-os através de aspectos como desempenho na execução das operações e proximidade da abordagem de cada um deles com os modelos de processos. Enquanto os bancos de dados relacionais são mais populares, sendo utilizados na maior parte das aplicações atuais, os bancos de dados orientados a grafos possuem propriedades e representação gráfica semelhantes aos modelos de processos. Foram realizados testes que visam analisar o desempenho de ambas as abordagens, além da facilidade dos usuários em interagir com os modelos propostos. Os resultados deste estudo podem ser utilizados para a criação de repositórios que compartilhem processos de maneira eficiente, bem como incentivar o estudo de novas maneiras para o armazenamento de processos. / Business Process Management (BPM) area has been increasingly attracted the interest of the business community because users are looking for documentation and optimization. These documents can be an important method in helping to gain results such as reduced costs and increased productivity. However, to model processes is not enough. It is necessary to pay attention to efficient storage methods, allowing information to be handled and used in a practical and intelligent way. The present article compares the use of relational databases and graph databases, considering aspects such as performance in the execution of operations and proximity of the approach of each of them with the process models. While relational databases are more popular, being used in most of the current applications, graph databases have properties and graphical representations similar to process models. The results of this study can be used to create repositories which can both share process efficiently, and encourage the study of new ways of storing processes.

La visión de la "Internet de las Cosas", hace énfasis en la integración entre elementos del mundo real y los Sistemas de Información. Gracias a tecnologías de Identificación Automática (Auto-ID) cómo RFID, los sistemas pueden percibir objetos del mundo físico. Cuando éstos participan de manera activa en los procesos de negocio, se evita el uso de los seres humanos como transportadores de información. Por tanto, el número de errores se reduce y la eficiencia de los procesos aumenta. Aunque actualmente ya es posible el desarrollo de estos sistemas, la heterogeneidad tecnológica en Auto-ID y los requisitos cambiantes de los procesos de negocio dificultan su construcción, mantenimiento y evolución. Por lo tanto, es necesaria la definición de soluciones que afronten la construcción de estos sistemas mediante métodos sólidos de desarrollo para garantizar la calidad final del producto. Partiendo de las bases de la Ingeniería Dirigida por Modelos (MDE), esta tesis presenta un proceso de desarrollo para la construcción de este tipo de sistemas. Este proceso cubre desde la especificación del sistema hasta su implementación, centrándose en los requisitos particulares del enlace entre los mundos físico y virtual. Para la especificación de los sistemas se ha definido un Lenguaje de modelado adaptado a los requisitos de la "Internet de las Cosas". A partir de esta especificación se puede obtener una solución software de manera sistemática. Como validación de la propuesta, ésta se ha aplicado en la práctica con usuarios finales. Pese a que el proceso de desarrollo no ofrece una automatización completa, las guías ofrecidas y la formalización de los conceptos implicados ha demostrado ser útil a la hora de elevar el nivel de abstracción en el desarrollo, evitando el esfuerzo de enfrentarse a detalles tecnológicos. / Giner Blasco, P.
