The master´s thesis analyzes the performance of company Řetězárna Ltd. by using the Model START, which is based on the EFQM Excellence Model principle. The first part is devoted to the theoretical description of performance measurement. The second part of the master´s thesis deals with the application of these theoretical findings in practice, in the form of an analysis according to the Model START. In the last part of the master´s thesis, according to the results of the analytical part, are proposed new possible improvements to increase the performance of Řetězárna Ltd.

The aim of my work is to analyze at the same time established the quality management system according to ISO 9001. On the basis of evaluated propose the implementation of the introduction of modern management in the form of self-assessment of EFQM excelence Model as a way to find strengths and areas for improvement. The work includes comparison with both the quality management system based on ISO 9001 and based on the EFQM excelence Model.

Master´s thesis is focused on valuation of efficiency of NEPA Ltd. This valuation of efficiency is performed on EFQM Excellence Model. Theoretical part of thesis is focused on description of selected models of valuation of efficiency with a bigger orientation to EFQM Excellence Model. In practical part is NEPA Ltd. introduced, included it´s field of business and on the base of EFQM Excellence Model is valuation of efficiency made. In conclusion are series of recommendations for increase efficiency.

This thesis is focused on benchmarking problematic, exactly on the benchmarking role and restrictions on the decision tool for the company management. Benchmarking enables upstanding increase for companies and last but not least increase of product and services quality. Thesis includes hypotheses and methodology of research which was focused on the analysis of company management tools for maintenance of decision making and for selected aspects of benchmarking. There was made a primary research in the area of benchmarking models between small and middle-sized companies in the Czech Republic. Thesis includes an implementation benchmarking methodology in the small and middle-sized companies.

Práce je zaměřena na metody zlepšování kvality ve veřejné správě. První část je věnována modelu CAF - jeho výkladu a zavádění především do místní veřejné správy. Druhá část je orientovaná na implementaci tohoto modelu hodnocení v Čechách a na území Evropy.

The aim of the thesis is to design way of implementation methods Balanced Scorecard into the strategic management of the company ABC. The introduction of the Balanced Scorecard method is an analysis of the company's activities using the EFQM Excellence model based on self-assessment process. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part defines financial analysis, EFQM Excellence Model and the Balanced Scorecard concept. The practi-cal part contains the characteristics of the company, analysis of financial health and current condition, evaluation of the self-assessment questionnaire, identifying strengths and weaknesses and design implementation the methods Balanced Scorecard.

Quality management of services is a process, which is not possible to manage without a quality management system conception for many companies. The descriptions of expressions, approaches and principles complement a basic overview of existing attitudes to the system of quality. This thesis focuses on the ISO conception. It describes the most used model of an approach to the quality management system in Czech republic, because it offers suitable tools for managing and evaluating of the quality of services. The aim of this paper is to determine an objective state of the quality management system in the company by doing the analysis, which uses the RADAR logic framework methology in the 2013 version. The areas with proposals for the improvement within the company are based on the differences of the evaluation.

Content of this work is of practical use of EFQM model using self-assessment criteria in the selected company. Work takes into account the individual elements in the functioning of the company to identify gaps in the organization and the discovery of hidden potentials of the company.
