As Peles que DanÃam: Pistas SomÃticas para Outra Anatomia / The skins that Dancing: Somatic Clues to Another Anatomy

Marise LÃo Pestana da Silva 23 March 2015 (has links)
In the history of contemporary dance, the recurrent hybridization with other artistic languages has opened trial routes and formed creative plans of some consistency that consider dance in its aesthetic, political and affective strength. Since its emergence and consolidation as body practice, Somatic Education has been resounding significantly with dance, occupying a place and a recognized status of "knowing about the body" that precludes a pedagogical model order and form in favor of an appreciation of the feelling and the disintegration of the concept of representativeness. Some concerns echo the need for research on the possible territory in which they operate somatic methods: how does somatic education enables danced gesture? What are its main contributions to creation in contemporary dance? What anatomy would walk through the territories of somatic and dance approaches, such territories beeing so loose, given the breakups and deconstructions of the contemporary panorama? Facing this background, the present study aims to investigate, explore and promote the reverberations, connections and possible resonances arising from the somatic practice, in order to provide subsidies to enrich the processes of creation and artistic expression in contemporary dance. Such study is anchored in the mapping method and operates with some concepts of philsophers as Deleuze and Felix Guattari, Michel Bernard, Laurence Louppe and Josà Gil, and researchers as Hubert Godard.
