Obnovitelné zdroje v České republice / Renewable source in CR

Škvařil, Jan January 2008 (has links)
Master’s thesis focuses on renewable and alternative energy sources and their operation in the Czech Republic. First part of this work deals with legislative support of the renewable energy sources and with other related documents. Next chapters describe each kind of renewable energy sources and their contemporary energy market share. In this work there are also economic analyses of electricity and eventually heat productions which are produced on concrete plants by sources using renewable energy. There is a comparison between regular and renewable energy sources in the next chapter. Final evaluation of different energy sources and their possibilities of using are described in the final part of the thesis.

Návrh a realizace výukové úlohy postavené na převodových motorech SEW Eurodrive / Design and realization of tutorial based on SEW Eurodrive gearmotors

Kantor, Martin January 2008 (has links)
The thesis deals with a construction of solar tracker designed from the MayTec Profile System using SEW Eurodrive’s electric actuation and accessories. The work describes the design of a laboratory assignment which uses these elements. In the preface information is provided about the construction of solar trackers on which the thesis is based. The next parts of the text are dedicated to each step of the construction design and its variants. A description of how to activate the drive and the design of the connection scheme are also included as well as the technological and construction evaluation. The conclusion contains an economical evaluation of the whole construction.

Reformy ukrajinského energetického průmyslu / Reforms of the Ukrainian Energy Industry

Balahura, Milan January 2018 (has links)
The energy sector of Ukraine is of strategic importance not only within the national economy, but is also significant from a European perspective, because it includes transit energy networks that are essential for a large part of Europe. The fundamental problem still remains low energy efficiency of the economy, obsolete infrastructure, dysfunctional system and the absence of major reforms. At the moment, another round of reforms is taking place under the influence of a rapprochement with the European Union, to modernize the sector and adapt it to European standards. This work describes the development of the sector and the reform efforts since independence until today with a particular focus on the gas sector and the period 2014 to 2017. This is particularly the developments in the energy market, pricing policies, availability, security and decentralization of the system. In addition, the work also focuses on the development of energy efficiency, the environment and renewable energy sources. Following on the theoretical basis (especially the theory of institutional economics) through analysis of described facts assesses developments in the reforms and their impact on the whole sector including evaluation of the role and influence of oligarchs in these reform attempts. In terms of reforms, four...

Vliv odstavení jaderných elektráren na energetickou bezpečnost: komparace Německa a ČR / Impact of nuclear power plants decommissioning: comparison of Germany and the Czech Republic

Myslivcová, Kateřina January 2019 (has links)
The diploma thesis examines the effect of decommissioning of nuclear power plants on the energy security of two European countries - Germany and the Czech Republic. First, the author focuses on theoretical anchoring of energy security. The practical part then examines both countries from the perspective of their energy mixes and policies and infrastructure interconnection. This is the starting point for the comparison of the effects of the decommissioning of nuclear power plants. Second, the author presents three scenarios to replace nuclear energy, exploring how German and Czech energy security will change. The first scenario is the use of renewable energy only. The second option is a combination of renewable energy and coal. Finally, the third option is again a certain proportion of renewable energy along with natural gas. Last but not least, the author concludes in the presented paper that, despite the various possible combinations of how to replace nuclear energy, both countries would be worse off within the framework of energy security.

Jaderná elektrárna Temelín a česko-rakouské vztahy / Temelín Nuclear Power Station and Czech-Austrian Relations

Černoch, Jakub January 2013 (has links)
The thesis Temelín Nuclear Power Station and Czech-Austrian Relations deals with the Temelín Nuclear Power Station and nuclear industry and its influence to the Czech-Austrian relations. The study aims to analyse the relations between the Czech Republic and Austria in the context of the power station from 1993 to 2013. Initially, the thesis introduces the theory of constructivism in the International Relations. Afterwards, it aims to explain the differences between the relations to the nuclear energy by Czechs and by Austrians on the basis of the theory of constructivism. Moreover, the thesis introduces the historical, legal and technical circumstances of the Czech-Austrian dispute. The main objective of the thesis is to ascertain, what effect on the Czech-Austrian relations have mediums, which publish articles about the Temelín Nuclear Power Station. There are four Czech relevant newspapers (Blesk, MF DNES, Právo and Lidové noviny) and four Austrian relevant newspapers (Kronen Zeitung, Kurier, Der Standard and Die Presse) inquired in the thesis. Particular articles are evaluated by the stances on the issue (pronuclear, antinuclear or impartial). The thesis identifies, which of the mediums have impact on deterioration/improvement of the Czech-Austrian relations. The study also deals with the process of...

Komparace programů politických stran zelených v SRN, Rakousku a ČR v letech 1990-2014 / Comparison of the Programmes of the Green Party in the Federal Republic of Germany, Austria and the Czech republic in the years 1990 - 2014

Veselá, Martina January 2016 (has links)
This thesis compares the electoral programmes of green political parties in the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Austria, and the Czech Republic in the years 1990- 2014, namely the German party Alliance '90/The Greens, the Austrian party The Greens - The Green Alternative, and the Czech Green Party. The beginning of the work provides an explanation of the concepts related to green politics, such as ecology, environmentalism, environment and sustainable development, whose knowledge is essential for understanding the major themes of the electoral programmes. Subsequently, the origin and history of all three political parties are outlined. The actual comparison is performed in a twofold manner. The first one compares the content of a specific programme with the previous ones and the second one compares the programmes of all three green parties for the same or the close electoral period. Furthermore, the format of individual programmes is characterized. Attention is focused on the major thematic areas, similarities and differences, and on the position of these parties before and after a particular parliamentary election being held.

Ekonomické aspekty větrné energetiky / The Economics of Wind Energy

Ryvolová, Ivana January 2005 (has links)
The presented work examines the special characteristics of electricity produced by the wind as a renewable resource into which considerable hopes are being placed. Production of electricity from wind, as well as from other renewable sources, is a subject of many legislatively enshrined preferential rules. These subsidies and regulatory provisions help the energy producers but represent additional costs to every final customer and tax payer. The aim of this work is to analyse the key arguments of wind energy advocates, which are 1) economic advantage of this production due to zero costs for 'fuel' and 2) negligible burden on the environment due to zero carbon dioxide emissions. The work takes into account all aspects of wind energy production, including their financial and extra-financial implications, and shows their indefensibility in economic terms and in terms of environmental protection. Besides, I have attempted to identify institutional aspects and forms of government which is known to give interest groups a chance to succeed in their rent-seeking activities and as a result allow prosperity of the above-mentioned ineffective energy production. Attention is also paid to the observation that, given the specific technological features of electricity production from the wind, it is not possible to fully apply the conclusions of a traditional theory of economic regulation onto the current position of key players in the electricity market.
