This diploma thesis deals with the issues of Business Process Management (BPM) in companies engaged in the energy distribution and trading in the Czech Republic (with a focus on the electricity and natural gas market). The first part introduces the basic terms and specifies the theoretical principles of Business Process Management in comparison with the classical functional management approach including the benefits, risks and issues associated with the implementation of Business Process Management in the organization. Thesis also outlines the issues and current status in the market with tools for BPM support. Next part of the thesis is devoted to analysis of the energy market in Czech Republic including its specifics and providing a sample of companies into the research which is the subject of the last part of the thesis. The goal of the realized research is to describe the current status of Business Process Management in the selected companies including formulation of conclusions and evaluation of the current level of usage of BPM.

The Master's thesis deals with the question of Germany's energy policy and its impact on industry. The main objective is to assess the current situation of energy policy in Germany through verbal analysis and analysis of risks and challenges that Germany is facing today. Energy policy is assessed on the basis of a move away from nuclear energy and the transition to renewables. A partial objective is to assess the potential consequences of the energy transformation and their impact on Germany's industry, competitiveness, labor market and climate goals. The work also deals with the evaluation of the energy mix in Germany and a summary of events leading up to the actual change in the direction of energy policy.

The aim of the thesis is to explain both the practical and theoretical aspects of the current trends in the development of sustainable communities. On the one hand, saving electricity and heat energy standards implementations - passive house, energy+, etc.; on the other hand, the possibilities of local communities supplying renewable electricity and heat in order to reach the highest share of renewable energy. In the practical part I will focus on the implementation of saving measures and the installation of renewable energy sources to a specific community. I will draw from the current architectural trends and the latest technologies for renewable energy sources.

The main goal of this thesis is to evaluate current status of renewable energy sources in China and to reveal current problems of this sector. In the first chapter, renewable energy sources are theoretically defined. In the second chapter, the whole energy sector of China is analysed with emphasis on the role of renewable energy sources, their share on primary energy consumption and their share in electricity production. The last chapter covers sector of wind energy in a detail. It analyses feed in tariffs or issues of energy grid. It also discusses economic profitability of wind power plants, their manufacture industry and overall future potential.

This master thesis deals with the purchase and sale process in Škoda JS company. The aim of this work is to assess whether the setting of the purchase and sale process is met by the company also within a real business case, in compliance with set controls, and whether the degree of perfect delivery is sufficient. In the introduction, the author specifies the basic terms: logistics, logistic chain, customer benefits, information systems in logistics, buying and selling. The following chapter introduces Škoda JS company, including the sphere of its entrepreneurial activity. This chapter also deals with the nuclear power industry. In the crucial chapter, the author describes the process of purchase and sale in Škoda JS company and compares it with a real business case. In conclusion, the author evaluates discrepancies and suggests recommendations to avoid them.

The first part of the thesis concerns describing the main topics concerned when mentioning electroenergetics: peculiarities of electricity and specifics of this commodity as well as liberalization that took place within this sector and new patterns arisen from these changes mainly in terms of business not only in wholesale, but also with effects on retail. It also outlines the economic rationale behind these changes. The second part of the thesis is an empirical analysis of real wholesale market data, demonstrating results of correlation, convergence and cointegration in spot prices of wholesale electricity in particular European countries.

German Russian relations are key partnership for European security and energy. Many European states, including Czech and Slovak republic, are dependent on the German-Russian economic cooperation. Russia is for Germany historically a strategic partner and the importance of their relationship is rising currently, as well. The cooperation extends and the traditional contradictions are ignored. However, the Ukrainian crisis has brought a change of German policy towards Russia. The thesis describes the character of the relation and problems following the methodology of the international relations theories with real reflection. It analyses the relation from the political and economic dimensions and their close interconnection.

89 Public law regulation of renewable energy sources usage in the Czech Republic Abstract This thesis is devoted to the public regulation of renewable sources usage in the Czech Republic. It is however strongly emphasizing the European component of the regulation and it gives some focus to a comparison of Czech regulation with foreign regulation, specifically German. Its objective is to define concepts that are necessary to analyze legal regulation, analyze the evolution of the public law regulation in the area of renewable energy sources, describe current situation and provide some prospect for future, as well as offer suggestions on improvement of the regulation. The thesis therefore in its first part provides definitions of basic concepts, such as renewable energy sources and particular types thereof, production and source of electrical energy. In a following part the thesis using historical legislation as well as other sources follows the evolution of the regulation in question on the Czech territory and focuses on a successful program Zelená úsporám in a greater detail. Chronologically comes the thesis to a current state of regulation of renewable energy sources usage, mainly from a viewpoint of a public support thereof. Hence it concerns mainly about the law No. 165/2012 Sb. on supported energy...

This thesis' objective is to analyse local environmental impact of NPP. For impact determination, it is necessary to monitor the locality for a long period. For biomonitoring method, gamma-spectrometers might be used. It should be calibrated before the measurement. Within the thesis investigation, spectrometer of the faculty was calibrated in the laboratory of ionizing radiation and three samples of Czech nuclear facilities outlet were analysed.

The thesis is focused on the conception of a new strategy plan company, ČEZ Logistics, which is a member of ČEZ Group. The New strategy goals and ways to get them, are based on the analysis of the actual state of the company. The main objective is to increase the company's goodwill and its competitiveness.
