In the search to make the process more cooperative, that is to say, by having students actively participating in the discussion of themes several techniques have been developed. In this paper, we will discuss some fundamental concepts in Physics ? magnitudes and its measurement units, length, ratio and proportion, area and volume ? in the attempt to investigate how students understand these concepts and how some tangible activities done inside the classroom with students of any school year help them to set more advanced and abstracts Physics concepts. Elaborating simple and concrete material brings many possibilities either for students or for teachers. With the handling and experimentation of these materials, students will understand the basic phenomena associated to it, so teachers could rethink their own lessons, in addition to discuss with the students how they need to go through the concrete ?thought? so they can think of the magnitudes in a more abstract way, which we do, in most cases, in Physics teaching. Thereby this paper exposes a wide-ranging discussion about the need and the importance of the concrete to improve students learning in order to enhance classes, stimulate the students and enable them to be able to appropriate the themes that are presented to them in Physics. / Muitos alunos chegam ao Ensino M?dio com uma grande dificuldade de entender os conte?dos b?sicos de F?sica, justamente por n?o terem aprendido de maneira concreta os conceitos b?sicos, como por exemplos as unidades de medidas, as opera??es b?sicas etc. Isto acaba se tornando um dos maiores desafios enfrentados por n?s, professores, nas salas de aula, que buscamos tornar as aulas atrativas e significativas para a aprendizagem dos alunos. Na busca por tornar o processo mais colaborativo, isto ?, fazendo com que os alunos participem da discuss?o dos temas, muitas t?cnicas t?m sido desenvolvidas. Neste trabalho ser?o discutidos alguns conceitos basilares em F?sica? grandezas e suas unidades de medidas, comprimento, raz?o e propor??o, ?rea e volume - na tentativa de investigar como os alunos compreendem esses conceitos e como algumas atividades concretas realizadas em sala de aula, com alunos de qualquer ano escolar, ajudam a formar conceitos mais avan?ados e abstratos da F?sica. Elaborar materiais concretos simples traz muitas possibilidades, tanto para alunos quanto para os professores. Com a manipula??o e experimenta??o desses, os alunos compreender?o os fen?menos b?sicos envolvidos, j? os professores poder?o repensar suas aulas, al?m de discutir como os alunos necessitam passar pelo ?pensamento? concreto para ent?o conseguir pensar nas grandezas de forma mais abstrata, o que fazemos, na maior parte das vezes, no Ensino de F?sica. Deste modo, pretende-se expor uma ampla discuss?o sobre a necessidade e import?ncia do concreto para melhorar a compreens?o dos alunos, com o intuito de melhorar as aulas, estimular os alunos e fazer com que esses sejam capazes de se apropriar dos temas que s?o apresentados a eles na F?sica.

This public is historically marked by inherent prejudices of roots that have arisen since the colonization of our country, and today we still show discourses and practices that are not in keeping with the real needs of these students. In this sense, education aimed at serving this public should privilege and value the students' prior knowledge, of training to ensure meaningful learning. One of the issues that catches our attention is the disciplines of the natural sciences, which are rich in content to be explored, but still present in our schools with only theoretical lessons, full of concepts and detached from reality. Using resources and didactic strategies for science teaching has been a recurring discourse and consensus among researchers in the area of teaching, but having these strategies clearly and organized is not a simple task and is not always available to the Teacher in the classroom. To insert games, games, videos, cinema, and finally some pedagogical tool to help the development of the teaching process, especially the teaching of science, is a very plausible proposal that can generate good results with respect to student learning efficiency . A good planning in search of the creation of a playful environment, freed of obligations and oriented to the joke, can stimulate the student in the search of the understanding of the proposed contents, through a language of easy access and understanding. This is a view that has been widely researched by different authors, and supports this work, which is based on the making and execution of a didactic game for science teaching. Flemming & Mello (2003) reports that the use of classroom games (JD) always has two premises: The need to innovate and the facility to promote the creative process. Therefore, in this work we do not intend to propose a better method of teaching, but to contribute in a positive way to the experience report of the use of playfulness as a way of insertion and motivation of young and adult students in the disciplines of Teaching Nature Sciences Middle School of a State School in the Municipality of Serop?dica, RJ, in order to promote a more meaningful learning. / Apesar de vivermos num mundo cercado de tecnologias e inova??es, o contexto das pol?ticas p?blicas para a Educa??o de Jovens e Adultos ainda se apresenta com pouca for?a no Brasil e em v?rias partes do mundo. Este p?blico ? historicamente marcado por preconceitos inerentes de ra?zes surgidas desde a coloniza??o do nosso pa?s, e nos dias de hoje, ainda evidenciamos discursos e pr?ticas n?o condizentes com as reais necessidades destes estudantes. Neste sentido, a educa??o voltada para atender este p?blico deve privilegiar e valorizar os conhecimentos pr?vios dos estudantes, de formar a garantir uma aprendizagem significativa. Uma das quest?es que nos chama a aten??o s?o as disciplinas de ci?ncias da natureza, as quais s?o ricas em conte?dos a serem explorados, mas ainda se apresentam em nossas escolas com aulas apenas te?ricas, repletas de conceitos e descoladas da realidade. Utilizar recursos e estrat?gias did?ticas para o ensino de ci?ncias tem sido um discurso recorrente e um consenso entre os pesquisadores na ?rea de ensino, mas ter a disposi??o estas estrat?gias de forma clara e organizada n?o ? uma tarefa t?o simples e nem sempre est? ? disposi??o do professor em sala de aula. Inserir jogos, brincadeiras, v?deos, cinema, enfim alguma ferramenta pedag?gica para auxiliar o desenvolvimento do processo de ensino, em especial do ensino de ci?ncias, ? uma proposta bastante plaus?vel e que pode gerar bons frutos no que diz respeito ? efici?ncia da aprendizagem do estudante. Um bom planejamento em busca da cria??o de um ambiente l?dico, liberto de obriga??es e voltados para a brincadeira, pode estimular o estudante na busca da compreens?o dos conte?dos propostos, atrav?s de uma linguagem de f?cil acesso e entendimento. Essa ? uma vis?o que tem sido bastante pesquisada por diferentes autores, e que suporta este trabalho, que tem como base a confec??o e execu??o de um jogo did?tico para o ensino de ci?ncias. Flemming & Mello (2003) relata que a utiliza??o de Jogos did?ticos (JD) em sala de aula tem sempre duas premissas: A necessidade de inovar e a facilidade para promover o processo criativo. Portanto, neste trabalho n?o temos a pretens?o de propor um melhor m?todo de ensino, mas contribuir de forma positiva com o relato de experi?ncia do uso da ludicidade como forma de inser??o e motiva??o de estudantes jovens e adultos nas das disciplinas de Ci?ncias da Natureza do Ensino M?dio de uma Escola Estadual no Munic?pio de Serop?dica, RJ, a fim de promover uma aprendizagem mais significativa.

The CTS focused teaching approaches scientific knowledge in the technological and social context of the learner and relates it to their everyday experiences, leading them to reflect on historical, ethical, political and socioeconomic aspects, and thus providing skills and values that help them to take responsible decisions and attitudes. In our case, the proposal was applied in a public school in the city of Angra dos Reis, in the State of Rio de Janeiro, to be evaluated and reworked according to the needs verified. The theme was chosen to be worked in this place, because the city houses the only nuclear power plant in Brazil, being a subject of extreme importance for the population and that allows the CTS approach with emphasis on the reality of the students. However, the approach was not restricted to the nuclear power plant, but involved all means of producing electric energy, such as hydroelectric, thermoelectric, with its variations of fuels, wave power plant, solar power plants and wind power plants, so that the general theme Production Of Electric Energy was divided into three sub-themes: Hydroelectric Plants, Other Modes of Energy Production and Nuclear Plants. The objective of this approach, besides teaching physical concepts involved in the processes of electric energy production, is also to make students aware of the risks, consequences and benefits of each mode of production, to have them reflect and evaluate the most to be able to actively participate in decision-making processes involving such issues. The final product of this work is a didactic sequence with varied didactic methods and resources, to serve as a guide for other teachers who wish to adopt the proposal. The text presents a brief history of science education in Brazil, its peculiarities and needs that justify the proposal and also presents the CTS movement and its main characteristics, that guide this work. The methodology adopted was the Action-research, which allowed the readjustment of the proposal throughout its application. The results were very promising and showed that the teaching of physics with a CTS approach, practiced through a thematic approach focused on students' reality, can be a means to promote a quality scientific education and to train citizens able to understand the world and the Society in which they live. / Este trabalho teve como objetivo desenvolver uma proposta de abordagem tem?tica com enfoque CTS (Ci?ncia-Tecnologia-Sociedade) para o ensino de f?sica, abordando o tema ?Produ??o de Energia El?trica?. O ensino com enfoque CTS aborda os conhecimentos cient?ficos no contexto tecnol?gico e social do educando e o relaciona com suas experi?ncias cotidianas, levando-o a refletir sobre aspectos hist?ricos, ?ticos, pol?ticos e socioecon?micos, fornecendo assim habilidades e valores que o auxiliem na tomada de decis?es respons?veis e atitudes. No nosso caso, a proposta foi aplicada em uma escola p?blica da cidade de Angra dos Reis, no Rio de Janeiro, para que fosse avaliada e reelaborada de acordo com as necessidades verificadas. O tema foi escolhido para ser trabalhado neste local, pois a cidade abriga a ?nica usina nuclear do Brasil, sendo um assunto de extrema import?ncia para a popula??o e que possibilita o enfoque CTS com ?nfase na realidade dos alunos. Por?m, a abordagem n?o ficou restrita ? usina nuclear, mas envolveu todos os meios de produ??o de energia el?trica, tais como hidrel?tricas, termoel?tricas e suas varia??es de combust?veis, usina de ondas, usinas solares e usinas e?licas, de modo que o tema geral Produ??o de Energia El?trica foi dividido em tr?s subtemas: Usinas Hidrel?tricas, Outros Modos de Produ??o de Energia e Usinas Nucleares. Specifically, the research considered the conceptual development in a teaching practice that values the dialogue, debate and writing, among other ways of registration, in a reflection with activities from the use of traditional GeoGebra (desktop) and GeoGebra application (version for smartphones). This analysis was not done to compare the two environments used, but identify contributions and challenges linked to the implementation of these resources for appropriation of knowledge. The concepts were polygons, regular polygons and parallel lines with a transverse. Data collection was carried out as follows: (a) audio recording, activities, geometric constructions files, photographic records and researcher's journal (implementation in the lab) and (b) audio and video recording, smartphones? screen capture used by students, and daily activities sheet of researcher (implementation in the classroom). In implementations of activities with computers, are highlighted the various forms of visualization and construction around the geometric object provided by dynamic geometry environment and mediation, as a tool of teaching work, as some contributions to the construction and development of the concept of regular polygon. It was observed during the implementation of the survey, some difficulties presented by the students related to handling of GeoGebra on a computer, as well as challenges to implementation of pedagogical practices in the computer lab, where multiple computers were defective. As contributions in the implementation of activities, stands out the motivator appeal, particularly, in working with parallel lines cut by transversal, using GeoGebra application. The experience showed and proved exciting, allowing the students to conclude that there are a set of elements (angles, straight position etc.), variants and invariants, along with the use and exploration of forms handled. As challenges, you can point out the difficulty of viewing properties in a building for cases where smartphone screen is small. / A presente investiga??o centrou-se na elabora??o de atividades, na implementa??o (no laborat?rio de inform?tica e em sala de aula) e na an?lise do aprendizado de alunos do 8? e 9? ano do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola p?blica de Rio Claro (RJ). Especificamente, a pesquisa analisou o desenvolvimento conceitual em uma pr?tica docente que valoriza o di?logo, a argumenta??o e a escrita, entre outras formas de registro em uma reflex?o com atividades a partir da utiliza??o do GeoGebra convencional (desktop) e o GeoGebra aplicativo (vers?o para smartphones). A an?lise n?o consiste em comparar os dois ambientes utilizados, mas identificar contribui??es e desafios atrelados ? implementa??o destes recursos para apropria??o do conhecimento. Os conceitos foram pol?gonos, pol?gonos regulares e retas paralelas com uma transversal. A coleta de dados foi realizada da seguinte maneira: (a) grava??o em ?udio, folha de atividades, os arquivos referentes ?s constru??es geom?tricas, registros fotogr?ficos e di?rio do pesquisador (implementa??o no laborat?rio) e (b) grava??o em ?udio e v?deo, captura da tela dos smartphones utilizados pelos estudantes, folha de atividades e di?rio do pesquisador (implementa??o em sala de aula). Em rela??o ?s implementa??es de atividades com computadores, destacamos as v?rias formas de visualiza??o e constru??o de um objeto geom?trico proporcionado pelo ambiente de geometria din?mica e a media??o, como ferramenta do trabalho docente, como algumas contribui??es para a constru??o e desenvolvimento do conceito de pol?gono regular. Observamos dificuldades apresentadas pelos estudantes no que se refere ao manuseio do GeoGebra em um computador, assim como desafios para implementa??o de pr?ticas pedag?gicas no laborat?rio de inform?tica, como v?rios computadores com defeito. Como contribui??es do smartphone na implementa??o de atividades, destacamos o apelo motivador que este recurso traz ?s aulas. Particularmente, no trabalho com retas paralelas cortadas por transversais, o uso GeoGebra aplicativo mostrou-se instigante por permitir aos alunos a observa??o de um conjunto de elementos (?ngulos, posi??o de retas etc.) variantes ou invariantes e, juntamente com o manuseio e explora??o das formas manuseadas. Como desafios ? poss?vel apontar a dificuldade de visualiza??o de propriedades em um constructo para casos em que a tela do smartphone ? pequena.

In this sense, the understanding of the legal aspects and the speeches held in the academic community was central to the reflection regarding the appearance of this course in the year of 2002, indicating other possibilities for teacher education in Biological Sciences. In addition, placing EaD as a public politic and immersing in this field of analysis, the curriculum, led us to understand the asymmetric disputes of power, the disputes represented not only in the constitution of a teacher training course, but also in the field that it constitutes and legitimizes it. A qualitative research based on the curricula social historical studies - educational politics and historiography, specifically ?New History?. Written documents (matrices, curriculum syllabus, pedagogical projects, among others), and oral interviews (with different actors of the Biology Course of the CEDERJ consortium) were analyzed and were identified the elements that supported the emergence, the viability and the maintenance of the course. I was done based on the continuous dialogue between its decision-makers and articulators to build a curriculum proposal of a consortium profile, they were mobilized by the different universities that composed the CEDERJ consortium. During this study, conceptual maps were constructed. The reasoning for its use were supported in the characterization of MC as a methodology that helps in the understanding of a curricular proposal based on a consortium system, supported by articulated universities. In this way, the MC allowed the understanding of this articulation as a new way of perceiving the asymmetric relations of power. Thus, its contribution allowed this research to transit through a mesoanalytical scale in the construction of this work. In this research, one of the elements that underpinned this EaD project for teacher training was its social political context marked by partnerships and political leaderships, as well as the participation of people who occupied strategic positions, for moving now in the academic environment of the consortium universities, now in the political space of influences and decisions. This fact was important in a moment that the project of EaD did not echo in the speeches of the academics of the state of Rio de Janeiro. With respect to the curriculum proposal for the course in question it was identified that curricular changes between the generating matrix and its resulting matrix in the year of 2013, which extended the performance of the egress of the course, previously a teaching graduate, as of the resolution of the Federal Council of Biology. Now, the graduate can act in the area of Environment - thus changing the profile of the egress. It is worth highlighting of the students, the protagonists who pressed the institution for such a change. Thus, although the discourse of the articulators of the course tries to be away from the baccalaureate, avoiding to relate it to the disputes between teacher training and baccalaureate, the pressure of the graduates and the change of the profile of this approach the course of these debates. / Este trabalho ? parte integrante da pesquisa realizada no ?mbito do programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Educa??o em Ci?ncias e Matem?tica (PPGEduCIMAT) da UFRRJ e tem como objetivo compreender os elementos que sustentaram o surgimento, a viabilidade e a manuten??o do curso de Licenciatura em Ci?ncias Biol?gicas do Centro de Educa??o Superior a Dist?ncia do Rio de Janeiro (CEDERJ) no per?odo de 2002 a 2015. Neste sentido, a compreens?o dos aspectos legais e os discursos travados na comunidade acad?mica foi central na reflex?o a respeito do surgimento deste curso no ano de 2002, indicando possibilidades outras para a forma??o docente em Ci?ncias Biol?gicas. Al?m disso, situar a EaD como pol?tica p?blica curricular e mergulhar neste campo de an?lise, o curr?culo, levou-nos a compreender as disputas assim?tricas de poder, as disputas representadas n?o s? na constitui??o de um curso de forma??o de professores, como no campo que o constitui e o legitima. Deste modo, a pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, orientada a partir dos referenciais dos estudos s?cios-hist?ricos do curr?culo, das pol?ticas educacionais e curriculares, e da historiografia, especificamente da Nova Hist?ria, analisou documentos escritos (matrizes, ementas curriculares, projetos pedag?gicos, entre outros) e entrevistas (com diferentes atores do curso de Biologia do cons?rcio CEDERJ), e identificou que os elementos que sustentaram o surgimento, a viabilidade e a manuten??o do curso, se deram a partir do di?logo cont?nuo entre seus decisores e articuladores para constru??o de uma proposta curricular de perfil consorciado, isto ?, mobilizada pelas diferentes universidades que comp?em o cons?rcio CEDERJ. Durante este estudo, foram constru?dos mapas conceituais (MC). A argumenta??o para sua utiliza??o foi sustentada na caracteriza??o dos MC como metodologia que ajuda na compreens?o de uma proposta curricular alicer?ada por um sistema consorciado, sustentado por universidades articuladas. Deste modo, o MC permitiu a compreens?o dessa articula??o como uma nova maneira de perceber as rela??es assim?tricas de poder. Sendo assim, sua contribui??o permitiu esta pesquisa transitar atrav?s de uma escala mesoanal?tica na constru??o deste trabalho. Nessa pesquisa um dos elementos que sustentou esse projeto de EaD para forma??o de professores, foi seu contexto pol?tico social marcado por parcerias e lideran?as pol?ticas, bem como a participa??o de pessoas que ocupavam posi??es estrat?gicas, por transitarem ora no ambiente acad?mico das universidades consorciadas, ora no espa?o pol?tico de influ?ncias e decis?es. Este fato foi importante em um momento que o projeto de EaD n?o apresentava eco nos discursos dos acad?micos do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Com rela??o ? proposta curricular do curso em quest?o, foi identificada altera??es curriculares entre a matriz inicial (2002) e sua matriz de 2013, que ampliou a atua??o do egresso do curso ?a partir da resolu??o do Conselho Federal de Biologia, agora o diplomado, pode atuar na ?rea de Meio Ambiente, al?m de atuar como docente ? modificando assim o perfil do egresso. Cabe destacar os discentes, os protagonistas que pressionaram a institui??o para tal mudan?a. Deste modo, apesar do discurso dos articuladores do curso procurar estar afastado do bacharelado, evitando estar relacionado com as disputas entre licenciatura e bacharelado, a press?o dos egressos e a mudan?a do perfil destes aproximam o curso destes debates.

The goal is to assess the use of trekking both as an instrument to investigate the environmental perception of the students and as a pedagogic resource to problematize ecological concepts and socio-environmental questions by using a didactic sequence containing ?generating themes? regarding elements of a drainage basin. Non-formal spaces contribute to expand the student?s perspective of what Science is, different from the one usually presented at school ? one that is often closed, static, reductionist, and unquestionable, presenting an utilitarian view of the environment. We hope to have provided support to the construction of new values in this relation, widening the pedagogical space and uniting formal and non-formal education. The subjects of this research are students of two schools around UFRRJ, at Serop?dica, RJ. This research has happened in four phases. Phase I characterizes the articulation with schools and managers of the Parque Natural Municipal do Curi? Paracambi (PNMCP), RJ. Phase II concerns the observation and application of diagnosis-questionnaires with open and semi-open questions aiming to check the student?s previous environmental perception, their views on what living beings are, their preliminary notions of elements/concepts that involve a drainage basin and the water cycle, followed by classroom interventions: movie exhibitions and debates concerning pieces of news reported in the big media. Phase II comprises visitation to the trekking path for which a didactic sequence with previously established stops to discuss concepts and problematize socio-environmental questions with a Critical and Emancipatory approach has been developed. Phase IV concerns the reapplication of the diagnosis questionnaire. The activities performed had a pedagogical approach based on socio-interactionist and constructivist theories. This research had a primarily qualitative approach but quantitative analyses have been performed to a better reading of research data, mainly to compare initial and final questionnaires. By analyzing the path?s potentialities planner and the recorded audio, the data reveals that trekking has widened the environmental perception of the students. When final and initial questionnaires are compared, students present a better comprehension of questions involving concepts of Ecology and socio-environmental questions discussed during trekking. We can infer that students have come to perceive the insertion of man in the Environment, and that this does not only concern nature, but the urban environment, including anthropic modifications. We conclude that the Jequitib?-rosa path of the PNMCP has widened the comprehension students had as to the concept of living beings and the diverse interaction of those with the environment. Therefore, the use of educational ecological trekking, having as generating themes the elements of drainage basins, are excellent resources to an approach of Environmental Education from a Critic and Emancipatory perspective. / Esta pesquisa se prop?s a utilizar elementos dos espa?os de bacias hidrogr?ficas em atividades pedag?gicas de educa??o n?o formal. O objetivo ? investigar o uso das trilhas como instrumento para investigar a percep??o ambiental dos estudantes e como recurso pedag?gico para problematizar conceitos ecol?gicos e quest?es socioambientais atrav?s de uma sequ?ncia did?tica com ?temas-geradores? de elementos da bacia hidrogr?fica. Os espa?os n?o formais contribuem para que o estudante tenha uma vis?o de Ci?ncia ampliada, e diferente daquela muitas vezes veiculada na escola com teorias acabadas, de maneira est?tica, reducionista, utilitarista do meio ambiente e inquestion?vel. Esperou-se garantir suporte para constru??o de novos valores nessa rela??o, fazendo a amplia??o do espa?o pedag?gico e a uni?o entre educa??o formal e n?o formal. Os sujeitos da pesquisa s?o estudantes de duas Institui??es Escolares que se situam no entorno da UFRRJ, campus Serop?dica, RJ. Esta pesquisa se deu em quatro fases. A fase I, denominada de "Processo de entrada em campo", caracterizando toda a articula??o com as escolas e com os gestores do Parque Natural Municipal do Curi? Paracambi (PNMCP), RJ. A fase II englobou a observa??o e aplica??o do question?rio diagn?stico com perguntas abertas e semiabertas que objetivavam pesquisar a percep??o de meio ambiente, como este est? relacionado com a vida dos estudantes, do que os estudantes consideram como seres vivos, e as concep??es pr?vias de elementos/conceitos que envolvem a bacia hidrogr?fica e o ciclo hidrol?gico, seguida da interven??o em sala de aula com a exibi??o de filmes e debate com reportagens veiculadas na grande m?dia. A fase III, que englobou as visitas ? trilha onde desenvolvemos uma sequ?ncia did?tica com paradas pr?-estabelecidas para abordar conceitos e para problematizar quest?es socioambientais com uma abordagem Cr?tica e Emancipat?ria. A fase IV caracterizou-se pela reaplica??o do question?rio diagn?stico. As atividades realizadas tiveram uma abordagem pedag?gica apoiada nas teorias sociointeracionista e construtivista. A pesquisa teve car?ter prioritariamente qualitativo, mas tamb?m foram feitas an?lises quantitativas para melhor leitura dos dados da pesquisa, principalmente para compara??o dos resultados do question?rio inicial e final. Os dados revelam atrav?s da an?lise da planilha de potencialidades da trilha e dos ?udios gravados, que as atividades na trilha ampliaram a percep??o ambiental dos estudantes, e que comparado com a an?lise dos question?rios diagn?stico inicial e final, eles tiveram um avan?o no entendimento de quest?es que envolveram conceitos de Ecologia e quest?es socioambientais abordados ao longo das atividades na trilha. Pode-se inferir que os estudantes passaram a perceber a inser??o do homem no Meio Ambiente, e que este n?o se resume apenas a concep??o de natureza, surgindo assim, a ideia de ambiente urbano que inclui suas modifica??es antr?picas. Conclui-se que a trilha do Jequitib?-rosa do PNMCP ampliou a compreens?o dos estudantes sobre o conceito de seres vivos e as diversas intera??es destes com o meio ambiente. Portanto, depreende-se que as trilhas ecol?gicas educativas tendo como temas geradores os elementos da bacia hidrogr?fica s?o excelentes recursos para a abordagem de uma Educa??o Ambiental Cr?tica e Emancipat?ria.
