Carrasco Villamizar, Luis César 08 November 2007 (has links)
In the present work we studied the variations along the estral cycle of 7 different glycosidases (alfa-L-fucosidase, beta-N-acetil-glucosaminidase, beta-D-galactosidase, alfa-D-galactosidase, alfa-D-manosidase, beta-N-acetyl-galactosaminidase and N-acetyl-neuraminidase), of total amount of proteins and volume of bovine and porcine oviductal fluid. Oviductal fluid was obtained from females slaughtered at the abattoir and fluid classified according the ovary morphology into follicular phase (early and late) and luteal phase (early and late). Differences among enzymatic activity, total amount of proteins and volume of oviductal fluid were observed in both species along the estral cycle.
