It does not seek to define religious behaviour but how the meanings of such behaviour take place inside the psychological structure. Psychologically speaking, religion can either trigger or block human development. For a science that seeks to understand man as a whole, to exclude the religious dimension of the human being from the psychological thinking is not to evaluate and understand the real influence of the religious development in mental functioning, in health and in psychological treatment. In this aspect, the aim of this study was to analyse phenomenologically the religious experience of Catholics in their relationship with personal development. For this, a qualitative approach was used, and, through statements collected in non-directive active interviews, phenomological analyses were made. Four people over 18 were interviewed. They were indicated by religious leaders and considered by them practicing Catholics . The result of the study showed that the participants religious experience is related to personal development. Such a relationship occurs in subjective and specific changes that resulted into the change of the behaviour of the subjects, who reported an improvement in life quality. Thus, we can understand that the religious experience gave these subjects a personal development. / A tarefa da Psicologia da Religi?o no ?mbito das ci?ncias humanas ? estudar os aspectos psicol?gicos relacionados ? experi?ncia religiosa humana Ela n?o procura definir o que ? a conduta religiosa, mas sim como os significados desta conduta se d?o no interior da estrutura psicol?gica. Psicologicamente, a religi?o pode ser uma mola propulsora ou bloqueadora do desenvolvimento humano. Para uma ci?ncia que procura entender o homem na sua totalidade, excluir do pensar psicol?gico a dimens?o religiosa do ser humano, ? deixar de avaliar e entender a real influ?ncia do desenvolvimento religioso no funcionamento mental, na sa?de e no tratamento psicol?gico. Neste sentido, o objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar, fenomenologicamente, a experi?ncia religiosa de cat?licos em sua rela??o com o desenvolvimento pessoal. Para isso, foi utilizada uma abordagem qualitativa e, atrav?s de depoimentos colhidos em entrevistas n?o diretivas ativas, realizou-se an?lises fenomenol?gicas. Foram entrevistadas quatro pessoas, maiores de 18 anos, indicadas por l?deres religiosos e consideradas, por estes l?deres, cat?licas praticantes envolvidas . O resultado deste estudo mostrou que a experi?ncia religiosa dos participantes est? relacionada com o desenvolvimento pessoal. Esta rela??o ocorre num sentido de mudan?as subjetivas, particulares e singulares que trouxeram como conseq??ncia, mudan?as no comportamento dos entrevistados, os quais relataram sentir uma melhora na qualidade de vida. Dessa maneira, podemos entender que a experi?ncia religiosa proporcionou, para estes sujeitos, crescimento pessoal.

A experi??ncia religiosa de Yokaanam no contexto da sa??de mental: uma leitura fenomenol??gica

Ocean. This was diagnosed with religious paranoia psychiatry. Nevertheless, Master Yokanaam effected a rich religious and community life. Question as it did his religious experience and their possible connections and distinctions with the mystic delirium, as proposed by traditional psychopathology. The aim was to describe their religious experience and critically examine their diagnosis, from an ethical point of view, epistemological and practical. It was considered for such discussions the knowledge of jasperiana psychopathology, Freudian psychoanalysis, psychology of religion, especially in William James, phenomenology of Husserl and Merleau-Ponty, and an introduction to Kantian philosophy. The method was the historiography and the history of life. We see that Yokaanam started its activities "psychic" in childhood, however, he only came to take them over in 1944 after the fall of President Vargas plane, which was official pilot. From this episode, he says he accepted his call to continue the Emmanuel Mission, becoming the Master Yokaanam, the Spiritual Head of the Religious Institution Universal Spiritual Brotherhood. His religious experience presents itself in the creation of eclectic doctrine in relief work for children abandoned in mediumship, the characters of belief reincarnated history and incorporation of Umbanda entities. From this, now has followers who sought him initially in search of spiritual healing. Without commenting on the ontological reality of the transcendent, the phenomenological approach adopted in this research led to glimpse such phenomena without delegitimizing Yokaanam experience with the transcendent, with time and space, as well as what happens in your world of life, the intentionality of consciousness. That is, a comprehensive clinic, their religious experiences are not just appreciated by its form or its contents, which resemble religious delusion, or the speeches of power that prevail in the West, they tend to dichotomizing human perceptions between false and true. Instead, they are seen as intrinsic to his own life story, and in this, their destination lived as prophetic, behaving fundamental sense in their context and with those who surround him. / Esta pesquisa tem como foco uma pessoa l??der de um movimento messi??nico no Brasil, Mestre Yokaanam, originalmente chamado Oceano de S??. Este recebeu o diagn??stico de paran??ia religiosa pela psiquiatria. N??o obstante, Mestre Yokanaam efetivou uma rica vida religiosa e comunit??ria. Questionamos como ocorreu sua experi??ncia religiosa e suas poss??veis conex??es e distin????es com o del??rio m??stico, tal como proposto pela psicopatologia tradicional. O objetivo foi descrever sua experi??ncia religiosa e examinar criticamente seu diagn??stico, de um ponto de vista ??tico, epistemol??gico e pr??tico. Considerouse para tais discuss??es os saberes da psicopatologia jasperiana, psican??lise freudiana, psicologia da religi??o, sobretudo em Willian James, fenomenologia de Husserl e Merleau-Ponty, e uma introdu????o ?? filosofia kantiana. A partir disso, passou a ter seguidores que lhe procuravam inicialmente em busca de cura espiritual. Sem se pronunciar sobre a realidade ontol??gica do transcendente, a postura fenomenol??gica adotada nesta pesquisa levou a vislumbrar tais fen??menos sem deslegitimar a experi??ncia de Yokaanam com o transcendente, com o tempo e o espa??o, bem como com o que ocorre em seu mundo da vida, na intencionalidade da consci??ncia. Ou seja, numa cl??nica compreensiva, suas experi??ncias religiosas n??o s??o apreciadas simplesmente pela sua forma ou seu conte??do, que se assemelham ao del??rio religioso, ou pelos discursos de poder que vigoram no Ocidente, que tendem a dicotomizar as percep????es humanas entre falsas e verdadeiras. Em vez disso, elas s??o vistas como intr??nsecas ?? sua pr??pria hist??ria de vida e, nesta, ao seu destino vivido como prof??tico, comportando sentidos fundamentais em seu contexto e junto aos que o cercam.

Written under the pseudonym Johannes de Silentio, it is a compliment to the faith of the biblical patriarch Abraham, especially that presented in the Scripture account of the proof to which God submitted him: the request that he sacrifice his son Isaac. In order to do so, the contextualization of the author's thinking in Fear and Trembling was first carried out. The identification of relevant events in his biography and the summary of his literary work showed that Kierkegaard called himself a religious author, whose reflection was aimed at understanding existence and the christian being. The Lutheran state church and the Lutheran pietist movement formed the cultural-religious milieu in which the Danish author was formed, both influencing his thinking and composing the background of his reflections in the opus under investigation. Theology, philosophy, ecclesiastical practice, and Christianity of his time were criticized by him. In Fear and Trembling, these were elaborated by arguments referring to the theological-philosophical conceptions of Lutheranism-Pietism, Kant, the liberal theology and Romanticism of Schleiermacher, Hamann and, especially, Hegel. The Problemata, central to Kierkegaard's opus and arguments, is composed of three chapters, which present the ethical problems derived from Abraham's willingness to sacrifice Isaac, titled: "Is there a teleological suspension of the ethical?, "Is there an absolute duty to God?" and "Has it been ethically defensible on the part of Abraham to have kept silent about his purpose before Sarah, Elieser, and Isaac??. The interpretation of the text allowed the conclusion that, in Fear and Trembling, reason is unable to explain Abraham, for ethics can not justify his attitude. Faith is the category through which the patriarch can be understood, paradoxically related to existence and occurs as a passion, in function of the absurd; part from the resignation before the infinite, in a double movement which returns to the finite to receive Isaac back. The Problemata also presents other categories, associated with the faith of Abraham, among which were identified and analyzed ethics, anxiety, trial, repetition, individuality and subjectivity. The presence of these categories in the patriarch's existence demonstrated a faith that occurs as interiority and is not limited to ethics. In order to obtain a greater breadth in the analysis of faith and the other categories, these were correlated with two other literary productions of Kierkegaard, in which they are present in different conceptual levels, namely, The repetition and The concept of anxiety. As a result, Abraham's faith proved to be a suprarational instance of thought and religious experience, from the phenomenological perspective, of openness to transcendence and belief in divine providence, seeking to overcome the limitations of existence. In addition, the faith presented in Fear and Trembling suggests unfolding of individual religious manifestation today, a "non-religious faith" unrelated to religious dogmas and institutional ecclesiastical authority, lived in the interior as an existential relationship with God. / A presente disserta??o tem por objetivo analisar a rela??o f? e exist?ncia na obra Temor e tremor, do pensador dinamarqu?s S?ren Aabye Kierkegaard, presente na se??o Problemata. Escrita sob o pseud?nimo Johannes de Silentio, ? um elogio ? f? do patriarca b?blico Abra?o, especialmente a apresentada na narra??o das Escrituras sobre a prova ? qual Deus submeteu-o: o pedido de que sacrificasse o filho Isaac. Para tanto, foi realizada primeiramente a contextualiza??o do pensamento do autor em Temor e tremor. A identifica??o de acontecimentos relevantes em sua biografia e do resumo de sua obra liter?ria evidenciou que Kierkegaard denominou-se um autor religioso, cuja reflex?o visava ? compreens?o da exist?ncia e do ser crist?o. A Igreja Luterana estatal e o movimento pietista luterano formaram o ambiente cultural-religioso em que o autor dinamarqu?s fora criado, os quais tanto influenciaram seu pensamento, quanto compuseram o pano de fundo de suas reflex?es na obra pesquisada. A teologia, a filosofia, a pr?tica eclesi?stica e o cristianismo de sua ?poca foram alvo de suas cr?ticas. Em Temor e tremor, estas foram elaboradas por argumentos referidos ?s concep??es teol?gico-filos?ficas do luteranismopietismo, de Kant, da teologia liberal e do romantismo de Schleiermacher, Hamann e, especialmente, de Hegel. A Problemata apresenta tamb?m outras categorias, associadas ? f? de Abra?o, dentre as quais foram identificadas e analisadas ?tica, ang?stia, prova??o, repeti??o, individualidade e subjetividade. A presen?a dessas categorias na exist?ncia do patriarca demonstrou uma f? que ocorre como interioridade e n?o est? limitada ? ?tica. Para a obten??o de uma maior amplitude na an?lise da f? e das demais categorias, estas foram correlacionadas com outras duas produ??es liter?rias de Kierkegaard, nas quais est?o presentes em diferentes n?veis conceituais, a saber, A repeti??o e O conceito de ang?stia. Em decorr?ncia, a f? de Abra?o mostrou-se como inst?ncia suprarracional do pensamento e experi?ncia religiosa, sob a perspectiva fenomenol?gica, de abertura ? transcend?ncia e cren?a na provid?ncia divina, em busca da supera??o das limita??es da exist?ncia. Ademais, a f? apresentada em Temor e tremor sugere desdobramentos quanto ? manifesta??o religiosa individual na atualidade, uma ?f? n?o religiosa? desvinculada dos dogmas religiosos e da autoridade eclesi?stica institucional, e vivida na interioridade como rela??o existencial com Deus.

PUC Campinas / This study aims to analyze the influences that a religious model has on a religious community, stablishing a correlation between Max Scheler?s conception of religious model, ethical progress and religious experience with the bible text Sermon on Mount, specially, the Antitheses (Mt 5, 17-48) and the Lord?s Prayer ritual orientation. With this purpose, in this study is made a research to identify the religious model from Matthew?s community to understand the powerful influence to the construction of the meanings in the social world of this community. This study was possible approaching Max Scheler?s phenomenological works to contextualize the religious model, religious experience and ethical progress concepts. As well as, it was necessary to go deep in historical, social and exegetical aspects from Matthew?s bible text. It was necessary to enable the correlation method associated to the Matthew?s bible text phenomenological analyses to apply Scheler?s horizon to the bible reality, to answer what is the relation between a religious model and religious experience in the community from the Matthew?s bible text. / O presente trabalho tem o prop?sito de analisar as for?as de influ?ncia que o modelo religioso exerce em uma comunidade religiosa. Isso se fundamenta a partir da correla??o estabelecida entre a conceitua??o de modelo religioso, progresso ?tico e experi?ncia religiosa ao mundo social apreendido do texto b?blico o Serm?o da Montanha. A an?lise ter? como objeto a releitura do texto o Serm?o da Montanha, localizado no Evangelho de Mateus, em espec?fico, as Ant?teses (Mt 5.17-48) e a orienta??o ritual?stica do Pai-Nosso (Mt 6.5-15), ? luz do pensamento de Max Scheler. Partindo desse prop?sito, busca-se identificar o modelo religioso da comunidade mateana e compreender a for?a de influ?ncia desse modelo nos significados do mundo social dessa comunidade. O arcabou?o conceitual foi constru?do tendo como base obras do per?odo fenomenol?gico de Max Scheler para contextualiza??o dos conceitos de modelo religioso, progresso ?tico e experi?ncia religiosa. Foi necess?ria a constru??o de uma abordagem cr?tica dos aspectos hist?ricos, sociais e exeg?ticos da per?cope mateana. Por isso, foi poss?vel, a partir do m?todo da correla??o associado ? an?lise fenomenol?gica do Evangelho de Mateus, aplicar o horizonte conceitual scheleriano ? realidade dos vers?culos b?blicos, a fim de responder qual a rela??o entre modelo religioso e experi?ncia religiosa da comunidade mateana.
