This Master thesis deals with the valuation of Leo Express, a. s. to the date January 1, 2016. As a valuation method was used the earnings valuation method based on discounted free cash flow to the firm and equity (FCFF). The thesis is split into two parts The methodical part defines the terminplogy and used indicators. The practical part is a detailed analysis of the market for transport of passenger rail services in the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic and Poland by used PEST analysis. The part of Master thesis is also financial analysis of the company. Process of valuation was implemented on the base of well-prepared financial plan and other value drivers. The evaluation itself has been accomplished using three-phase DCF method,which is consist of a prediction phase,second faze and a residual value phase.

Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a lethal disease, characterized by functional or structural abnormalities involving distal pulmonary arterioles that result in increased pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR) and ultimately right heart failure. Our objective is to establish a conditional transgenic system in mice, to test the hypothesis that lung EC apoptosis at the level of distal pulmonary arterioles is necessary and sufficient to cause a PAH phenotype. In a pilot study, the Fas-Induced Apoptosis (FIA) construct was expressed under the control of endothelial-specific Tie2 promoter in transgenic mice (i.e. EFIA mice). Administration of a small molecule dimerizing agent, AP20187, resulted in lung modest dose-dependent PAH, which was associated with proliferative vascular lesions localized to distal lung arterioles in a small proportion of mice. Due to the low level of transgene expression in preliminary EFIA lines, we re-designed the transgenic vector by incorporating a more robust endothelial promoter (superTie2). The new construct was transfected into HUVEC and BAEC and analyzed by monitoring immunofluorescence (DsRed). Data from the EFIA model suggests that EC apoptosis may be sufficient to induce a PAH phenotype with the characteristic lung vascular lesions. The EFIA model will allow us to better explore the mechanism that links distal lung EC apoptosis with reactive vascular cell proliferation in the pathogenesis of this devastating disease.

The submitted diploma thesis deals with the courier, express and parcel market and the product DPD Intercontinental. The courier, express and parcel market is analyzed in terms of today's state of the market as well as trends of the market changes. Product DPD Intercontinental is examined from many points of views, particularly related to competitive situation on the market. As a result is presented SWOT analysis and on its basis is determined goal for the product in question. The goal should be fulfilled by realization of suggested measures.

The aim of this master thesis is to analyse the market of courier, express and parcels services. It focuses on the issue of relevant national and international legal framework, with a particular interest in the principles of liability. Furthermore, it provides information on activities of the major courier, express and parcels suppliers: TNT Express Worldwide and DHL Express. These two companies and their Terms and conditions of carriage are subjects for a case study which deals with logistics provider's liability for destruction or loss of or damage to cargo and liability for damage caused by delay.

Thus, tools that aid in the proper selection of suppliers can be important for the company to reach its goals. In this context, the purpose of this study is to apply the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) in the evaluation process and selection of a logistics services providers (LSP) for the courier delivery services company, analyzing qualitative and quantitative criteria that express the real needs of the parties, whose aim is to improve the indicators in terms of quality and customer satisfaction. The results indicated that the information technology, responsiveness and quality of management are the most relevant criteria for the contractor because of the need of preserving the enterprise reliability front of your customers and to remain competitive in the courier delivery services area. The results also showed that the criteria and method used could contribute for classification of LSP suitable for the service in terms of deadline, demand and traceability required for operational success. A sensitivity analysis was also carried out to assess the robustness of the decision. Finally, the proposed model proved to be a good alternative to support the decision on the selection of logistics providers for express charge, since the analysis of qualitative and quantitative criteria adhering to organizational practice, can lead to choosing companies that can meet the quality requirements of the sector. / A terceirização das atividades logísticas no Brasil vem crescendo, permitindo as empresas a direcionar os esforços no sentido de suas atividades principais e obter ganhos estratégicos devido ao know-how de empresas especializadas e a possibilidade de reduzir os custos com os ativos da empresa contratada. Desta forma, ferramentas que auxiliem na seleção adequada de fornecedores, pode ser importante para que a empresa atinja seus objetivos. Nesse contexto, o objetivo deste estudo é investigar o uso do método de decisão multicritério Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) para a avaliação e seleção de provedores de serviços logísticos (PSLs) para empresas do segmento de cargas expressas analisando critérios qualitativos e quantitativos que expressam as reais necessidades das partes envolvidas, cujo intuito é melhorar os indicadores em termo de qualidade, prazo e satisfação dos clientes. Os resultados demonstraram que a tecnologia da informação, responsividade e a gestão da qualidade são os critérios mais relevantes para a contratante em razão da necessidade da preservação da confiabilidade da empresa frente a seus clientes e para manter-se competitiva no segmento de cargas expressas. Constatou-se que os critérios utilizados e o método contribuíram para a classificação de PSLs adequados para o atendimento em termos de prazo, demanda e rastreabilidade exigidos para o sucesso operacional. Uma análise de sensibilidade também foi desenvolvida para avaliar a robustez da decisão. O modelo proposto mostrou ser uma boa alternativa para apoio a decisão na seleção de fornecedores logísticos para carga expressa, uma vez que a análise de critérios qualitativos e quantitativos aderentes à prática organizacional, pode levar a escolha de empresas que possam atender as exigências de qualidade do setor.

This work deals with the design and implementation of high-speed communication interfaces into FPGA chip and their utilizing for image transmission and processing. In the implementation part has been created PCI Express endpoint device, which provides data transfers between the FPGA chip and computer RAM memory. As a source of image data for further processing was connected the Unicam M621 camera throught the Ethernet interface to FPGA chip. The project was implemented on the Xilinx SP605 development board. Using both of the the interfaces were demonstrated on the application of edge detection using Sobel operator. The PCI Express endpoint device driver for the Linux operating system and a simple application interface in C language was also created within this project.

Studien Panta med Swish! undersöker på vilket sätt pekskärmsgränssnittet för så kallade Pantamera Express-automater och i synnerhet dess digitala utbetalningsmetod kan göras mer effektivt. Baserat på användarintervjuer och analyser av det befintliga gränssnittet utvecklades först en pappersprototyp. Pappersprototypen föreslog en rad olika lösningar för att effektivisera designen från grunden. Med denna utfördes senare prototyptester som avslöjade aspekter att ta till vara på så väl som aspekter som krävde förbättring. I nästa fas av designprocessen utvecklades prototypten ytterligare och gavs en digital form - den blev nu en datorprototyp. Denna iteration av prototypen bar Pantameras varumärkesidentitet och gjorde designen mer påtaglig. När väl datorprototypen skapats togs även en informativ affisch fram för att förklara det nya gränssnittet, dess digitala utbetalningsmetod samt hur denna används. Den heuristiska utvärderingen som följde tydde på att designerna med endast små justeringar kunde leva upp till rapportens syfte; syftet som formuleras i forskningsfrågan: “Hur bör ett gränssnitt omformas för att effektivisera dess digitala utbetalningsmetod?”. Efter att de slutgiltiga förändringarna genomförts kunde slutsatsen göras att användare behöver övertygelse för att kunna tänka sig använda en främmande utbetalningsmetod. Det därför är bra att i ett gränssnitt integrera en utbetalningstjänst som redan är välanvänd och som har ett välkänt varumärke. Det är också viktigt att framhäva detta varumärke för att användare ska känna sig uppmanade att testa den främmande metoden. Studien visar att lösningen är integrering av Swish, att göra automatens gränssnittet mer tillåtande och att komplettera detta med ytterligare information som förbereder användare, skapar en mer effektiv process för användarna och en i stort förbättrad användarupplevelse. / The study Panta med Swish! researches in what way a touchscreen interface for so-called Pantamera Express machines and, particularly its digital disbursement method can be made more effective. Based on user interviews and analyses of the existing interface a paper prototype was first developed. The paper prototype suggested a number of solutions to streamline the interface. User tests were then carried out with this prototype. These tests revealed both promising aspects as well as aspects in need of betterment. In the next phase of the design process, the prototype was developed further and a digital prototype was created. This iteration of the prototype carried Pantamera’s brand identity, and made the design over all more tangible. After the digital prototype had been developed an informative poster was made to explain the new interface, its digital disbursement method and how it is used. The heuristic evaluation that followed indicated that the designs, with only minor adjustments, could live up to the set purpose of this paper: “How should an interface be re-developed in order to streamline its digital disbursement method?”. After the final adjustments had been made, the conclusion was drawn that users need convincing in order to consider using an unfamiliar disbursement method. Therefore, it is useful to integrate a disbursement service that is well-used and is associated with a well-known brand. It is also important to highlight said brand, in order to make users feel inclined to try said method out. The study shows that the solution is the integration of Swish, and to make the interface more allowing as well as to complement this with some additional information that prepares users, will create a more effective process for the users, and an all in all improved user experience.

A paper presents some materials of the motivation for the power fitness training for men of the first period of mature age. We give experimental evaluation of the effectiveness of using multifunctional training devices in a power fitness class. According to the study, which used an express-screening UFS by the method of Apanasenko G.L. we revealed changes characterized by increased functional organism reserves with an increasing of the physical condition level. / Работа рассматривает вопросы мотивации к занятиям силовым фитнесом мужчин первого периода зрелого возраста. Дается экспериментальное обоснование эффективности использования многофункциональных тренажерных устройств на занятиях силовым фитнесом. По результатам исследования, в котором использовался экспресс-скриннинг УФС по методике Апанасенко Г.Л. выявлены изменения характеризующие повышение функциональных резервов организма по мере увеличения уровня физического состояния.
