Svensk Underrättelsetjänst inom COIN

Öfverholm, Ragnar January 2013 (has links)

O circuito sonoro : radiodifusão FM e produção fonografica em Campinas-SP / The sound circuit : radio FM and music production in Campinas-SP

Alves, Cristiano Nunes, 1981- 12 August 2018 (has links)
Orientador: Adriana Maria Bernardes da Silva / Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Geociencias / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-12T06:40:25Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 Alves_CristianoNunes_M.pdf: 4787468 bytes, checksum: 0a45b75d1274f8bc2035a479fc63a8a9 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2008 / Resumo: Esta pesquisa busca analisar as dinâmicas sócio-territoriais na cidade atual. / Abstract: This research examines the dynamic socio-territorial in the city today. For this reason, we are looking forward to contribute to the understanding of the formation and the thickness of the circuits of radio FM and the music production in Campinas. The circuit FM in Campinas falls in the field of cultural industry since de decade of 1970, and has been expanding in the context of urbanization and metropolis growing in Brazil. Today this circuit incorporates a bigger system, coupled with the strategies of vertical use of the territory. We noticed that in contrast to the circuit FM, some residual musical component in places involves, among others, the alternative production and free radios. These circuits involved by a technically and territorial division of labor spurred by circuits upside of information, survive to the urban division and fragmentation. It is, therefore, a study of Campinas as a place that houses technical, informational and communicational densities. We analyzed geographical conditions of contemporary life in this city, inquiring about the communication component in the use of the territory. / Mestrado / Análise Ambiental e Dinâmica Territorial / Mestre em Geografia

Apfelthaler, Jan January 2008 (has links)

Normál vlnové délky pro optické komunikace v pásmu C / Wavelength Standard for Optical Communication in C Band

Růžička, Bohdan January 2008 (has links)
The thesis presents design, development and realization of laser system with stabilized optical frequency which could become the basis of an etalon of wavelength for the telecommunication band of the near-infrared spectral region. Semiconductor DFB laser diode is used as a tunable source of radiation with narrow linewidth. Its optimum operation is ensured by especially designed current and temperature controller. The laser is prestabilized using FM spectroscopy technique to the passive Fabry-Perot cavity. This fast feed-back loop is able to improve spectral characteristics of the laser. The center frequency of the F.-P. cavity - the laser optical frequency is locked by a slow second feed-back loop to the absorption spectral line of acetylene 13C2H2 gas. The slow control loop is based on the third derivative spectroscopy technique. Relative stability at the level of 10E-12 was achieved.

The Effects of Emotion on Acoustic Characteristics of Vocal Vibrato in Trained Singers

Holmes, Sharee Oakes 14 June 2013 (has links) (PDF)
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of emotion on several key acoustic features of vibrato including vibrato rate, extent, and steadiness (measured by FM rate COV and FM extent COV). We hypothesized that intensity of emotion would have a significant effect on vibrato rate, extent, and periodicity, although the direction of these changes was undetermined. There were 10 participants, including eight females and two males, who were graduate student singers with high competency ratings. Each participant completed a series of tasks including sustained vowels at several pitch and loudness levels, an assigned song that was determined to have neutral emotion, and a personal selection that was selected because it included sections of intense emotion. Vowel tokens were averaged for each task, and measurements of mean f0, mean dB, FM rate, FM extent, FM rate COV and FM extent COV were calculated by task for each participant. Contrast analyses were performed comparing each task against the personal selection (high emotion) task. The results suggest that FM rate and FM rate COV may have been influenced by level of emotion, and FM extent, FM rate COV and FM extent COV were likely influenced by the performance nature of the task.

ENHANCING THE PCM/FM LINK - WITHOUT THE MATH

Fewer, Colm, Wilmot, Sinbad 10 1900 (has links)
ITC/USA 2007 Conference Proceedings / The Forty-Third Annual International Telemetering Conference and Technical Exhibition / October 22-25, 2007 / Riviera Hotel & Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada / Since the 1970s PCM/FM has been the dominant modulation scheme used for RF telemetry. However more stringent spectrum availability as well as increasing data rates means that more advanced transmission methods are required to keep pace with industry demands. ARTM Tier-I and Tier-II are examples of how the PCM/FM link can be enhanced. However these techniques require a significant increase in the complexity of the receiver/detector for optimal recovery. This paper focuses on a quantitative approach to improving the rate and quality of data using existing PCM/FM links. In particular ACRA CONTROL and BAE SYSTEMS set themselves the goal of revisiting the pre-modulation filter, diversity combiner and bit-sync. By implementing programmable adaptive hardware, it was possible to explore the various tradeoffs offered by modifying pulse shapes and spectral occupancy, inclusion of forward error correction and smart source selection. This papers looks at the improvements achieved at each phase of the evaluation.
