Parler au féminin : les professions de foi des député-e-s sous la Cinquième République (1958-2007) / Women's speech : the MP women’s statements of principles under the French Fifth Republic (1958-2007)

Guaresi, Magali 14 December 2015 (has links)
At the crossroads of political history, gender studies and discourse analysis, the present PhD dissertation gives a detailed study of the statements of principles of MP women candidates under the French Fifth Republic (1958-2007). The corpus is designed according to a set of gender hypothesis in political context. It gathers almost all the declarations of women candidates under the French Fifth Republic, together with a reference corpus sampling a representative set of men declarations, made under similar political conditions.Statements of principles are performative acts setting speakers as political figures. Does gender impact political discourse and speeches? Did gender representations significantly evolve within the 12 legislative periods of the Fifth Republic? To answer these questions, we resorted to a set of text statistics methods in the framework of digital humanities. The thesis provides a comprehensive description of the development of women ethos within fifty years, bringing to light the gradual emergence of original themes and subjects.

Linhas entrelaçadas no discurso profético de Padre Antonio Vieira / Enchained lines in Priest Antônio Vieira's prophetical speech

Maria Alice Werneck da Silva Dias 30 March 2007 (has links)
Quinto Império do Mundo and Livro Anteprimeiro da História do Futuro which are some of the texts related to his work. The unique construction of such texts is evidenced through the composition of theological-political, mystical and historical connections. The particular logical of this written material, which is marked by risk, faith and day dreamine, is demonstrated in this study through the appreciation of not only the biographic elements, but also the historic-societal reconstruction

Design Techniques for Frequency Reconfigurability in Multi-Standard RF Transceivers

Singh, Rahul 01 May 2018 (has links)
Compared to current single-standard radio solutions, multi-standard radio transceivers enable higher integration, backward compatibility and save power, area and cost. The primary bottleneck in their realization is the development of high-performance frequency-reconfigurable RF circuits. To that end, this research introduces several CMOS-integrated, transformer-based reconfigurable circuit techniques whose effectiveness is validated through measurements of designed transceiver front-end low-noise (LNA) and power amplifier (PA) prototypes. In the first part, the use of high figure-of-merit phase-change (PC) based RF switches in the reconfiguration of CMOS LNAs in the receiver front-end is proposed. The first reported demonstration of an integrated, PC-switch based, dual-band (3/5 GHz) reconfigurable CMOS LNA with transformer source degeneration and designed in a 0.13 μm process is presented. In the second part, a frequency-reconfigurable CMOS transformer combiner is introduced that can be reconfigured to have similar efficiencies at widely separated frequency bands. A 65-nm CMOS triple-band (2.5/3/3.5 GHz) PA employing the reconfigurable combiner was designed. In the final part of this work, the use of transformer coupled-resonators in mm-wave LNA designs for 28 GHz bands was investigated. To cover contiguous and/or widely-separated narrowband channels of the emerging 5G standards, a 65-nm CMOS 24.9-32.7 GHz wideband multi-mode LNA using one-port transformer coupled-resonators was designed. Finally, a 25.1-27.6 GHz tunable-narrowband digitally-calibrated merged LNA-vector modulator design employing transformer coupled-resonators is presented that proposes a compact, differential quadrature generation scheme for phased-array architectures.

"O império dos sonhos - narrativas proféticas, sebastianismo e messianismo brigantino" / The empire of dreams: prophetic narratives, Sebastianismo and Bragança's Messianism

Luis Filipe Silverio Lima 30 September 2005 (has links)
This thesis analises the prophetic dreams narratives in Modern Porugal between 1600 and 1750. Its goal was to investigate how the main onirical themes, the most recurrent dreams, the interpretations and readings of biblical dreams were constituted. It was sought to perceive what were the perceptions of dreams (and prophecies) which sustained and were present in the portuguese narratives, observing the repertory of onirical references and texts and its circulation. Assuming that dream narratives had a capital role in the formulation of Sebastianism and after that, Brigantine Messianism, the links between the dreams and these movements and prophetic messianic beliefs were observed, aiming to understand the diferent political projecs in and for Portugal during this period.
