Fisketurism : Inom Lilla Edet och Trollhättans kommun i Göta älv

Grahn, Lisa January 2017 (has links)
The interest in sports fishing and the number of enterprises involved is a growing phenomenon in Sweden. According to statistics from Statistics Sweden, about 1.6 million of all Swedish residents has an interest in fishing and about 10 percent of all international trips are related to fishing tourism. This indicates that there is a potential to develop fishing tourism in Swedish rivers. The aim of this study was to explore the fishing tourism around the salmon fishery and to identify any action that has been taken to improve conditions for the salmon in the river Göta älv, in the area of the Lilla Edet and Trollhättan municipalities. The information in this study has been collected from literature and interviews with SFK Laxen and Trollhättan Municipality. Göta älv is, among other rivers, regulated for hydropower production with four hydropower dams blocking the migration routes for the salmon. The main measurements that have been taken to facilitate salmon migration and improve conditions for salmon fishing are fish ladders at the power stations, and the addition of gravel to create spawning grounds. However, many projects that would improve the potential for fishing tourism are still waiting to be approved or has been denied. The result of this study has clarified the current situation for salmon and salmon fishing in Göta älv, and make some suggestions for further development of fishing tourism in the river.

Μελέτη της δυνατότητας ανάπτυξης αλιευτικού τουρισμού στις Κυκλάδες ως μέτρο στήριξης περιοχών που εξαρτώνται από την αλιεία / Development of fishing tourism in the cycladic islands as a way to support areas that depend on fishing

Πυραλεμίδου, Δήμητρα 15 November 2007 (has links)

Presence and Quality of Catch and Release Information and Guidelines on Fishing Tourism Operators' Websites in Sweden

Hanindyawan Handoko, Jody Raditya January 2018 (has links)
Abstract: Recreational fishing is one of popular outdoor activities and a growing business in Sweden. However, preceding researches had shown that recreational fisheries may contribute to overfishing as much as commercial fisheries. One of the ways to reduce anglers’ impact on fish populations is the practice of releasing caught fish (catch and release; C&R). C&R is often seen as an ethical and sustainable way of fishing that supports fish conservation. Anglers may obtain C&R information and guidelines from different sources, such as fishing club, fishing magazines, state agencies. As the internet is increasingly becoming an important source for anglers to obtain updated fishing information, fishing tourism operators could be a principal actor to provide C&R information and guidelines through their websites. At the same time there is lack of information on the presence and quality of C&R information at Swedish websites. As international tourists are important group of anglers that use tourism operators’ services, and due to the language limitation of the author, this study focused on websites in English language. Therefore, this study aimed at investigating the presence and quality of C&R information and guidelines in English language provided by fishing tourism operators’ websites in Sweden. The study followed the quantitative content analysis approach by assigning categories and counting the frequencies in the text found on the fishing tourism operators’ websites. First, the websites were scanned to check if C&R information was present. Then, the number of clicks needed to retrieve this information was counted to measure its accessibility. Finally, a C&R information quality score was calculated by adding up scores based on different type and quality of the information found on the websites, including 12 criteria of the C&R best practice guidelines developed by Sims and Danylchuk (2017). The study found that 66 out of 151 analyzed websites provided C&R information and guidelines which generally easily  accessed (two clicks on average). However, in general the websites had a low average quality score of the C&R information and guidelines. Moreover, there was a high variability in how the information was presented on the websites, suggesting lack of standardized guidelines that fishing tourism operators could refer to. Consequently, there is a need to encourage and support more fishing tourism operators to provide a high quality C&R information and guidelines on their websites.

It can happen both inside and outside the properties, depending on the external conditions of the landscape. Part of the attraction is due to fishing tourism. Tourists in addition to seeking rest, beautiful scenery and natural beauties look for a place that offers the opportunity to fish. The present work proposes to investigate the possible environmental impacts caused by the practice of the fishing activity in Goiás after the creation of the Law of "Zero Cota" and if it is fulfilling its social function and if the fishing tourism carried out in the region of the community Itacaiu, where the study will be carried out, is being carried out in a conscious and sustainable way. In view of this scenario, the present work proposes to study the region of the Itacaiu riverine community in the municipality of Britânia, state of Goiás (GO), on the banks of the Araguaia River. It seeks to investigate the practices of fishing tourism in the region, since since 03/03/2013, the State of Goiás has Normative Instruction No. 002, Law No. 17.985 / 2013 ("Law of the Zero Quota"), which provides for the The research seeks to answer whether Law No. 17,985 / 2013 is fulfilling its function and whether the fishing tourism carried out in the region of the Itacaiu community is being carried out in a conscious and sustainable way. The intention is to understand what transformations come from the anthropic action the tourism of which transformations originating from the anthropic action the fishing tourism attracted to the region. In the results of the research we have, first, a description of the socioeconomic profile of the fishermen who frequent the region and what level of knowledge they have in relation to the "Zero Zero Law". Later on, the practices of the fishing activity used by amateur fishermen are presented, which are also compared with the guidelines of the law in question. The third chapter analyzed the fishermen's perception of the fishing environment frequented by agents who practice fishing tourism in the region. And finally, it was observed how the fishing activity takes place during the closed season and how are the inspections of the fishing activity. As seen in the results of this research, it was concluded that the region studied has suffered over the years with anthropic action, due to predatory fishing, lack of knowledge of fishermen in relation to the law's guidelines and lack of supervision in the area.
