Orientador: Raquel Lazzari Leite Barbosa / Banca: Dagoberto Buim Arena / Banca: Raimunda Abou Gebran / Banca: Stella Miller / Resumo: Com a finalidade de identificar os pressupostos teóricos-metodológicos e as possíveis transições paradigmáticas da Fonoaudiologia Escolar na área de Linguagem Escrita, a partir do conjunto de duas diferentes concepções de realidade: fundamentos do Paradigma Positivista e demais tendências Humanistas do pensamento científico, analisamos os artigos publicados em duas revistas científicas desta área. O material foi selecionado por apresentar um demonstrativo do pensamento da fonoaudiologia escolar no Estado de São Paulo, uma vez que a primeira revista é vinculada ao Conselho Regional de Fonoaudiologia, a Revista de Atualização Científica Pró-Fono, e a segunda vinculada à Pontifícia Universidade Católica, Revista Distúrbios da Comunicação. É importante ressaltar que ambos os periódicos são considerados pela comunidade científica da área como sendo de qualidade. Caracterizamos o panorama atual de publicações do período de 1997 à 2002. Para tal análise, privilegiamos os conceitos de Ciência, Linguagem Escrita e Intervenção Fonoaudiológica presentes em cada artigo e identificamos três momentos distintos: o primeiro assemelha-se às principais características do paradigma científico Positivista, o segundo pode ser considerado como um período de transição, ou seja, ora possui indícios de concepções mais positivistas ora de concepções mais amplas e sociais, e o terceiro, um conjunto de publicações que questiona a vertente positivista e adota concepções mais subjetivas, históricas, culturais e sociais. Para a definição do paradigma Positivista utilizamos conceitos de Filosofia da Ciência, que configuram um olhar objetivo sobre a realidade, e as implicações desta vertente científica na Fonoaudiologia é a prática voltada para a mensuração de comportamentos, ênfase apenas em aspectos observáveis... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Aiming at stating the notion of the scientic pratice and the possible paradigmatic transitions the Scholl Phonoaudiology is submitted to in the subjects involving reading na writung, we have inquired into the concepts subjacent to the articles issued by two important scientific magazines in this area. Therefore, the present work deals with the movement of transition of paradigmatic conceptions undergone by Phonoaudiology in the areas of readind and writing. The chosen material is suposed to show a substractum os São Paulo State thinking on scholar Phonoaudiology, since the first magazine, entitled "Revista de Atualização Científica Pró Fono" is hold by the "Conselho Regional de Fonoaudiologia", and the second one, "Revista Distúrbios da Comunicação" is issued by the "Pontifícia Universidade Católica" in São Paulo. Needless to say that both periodicals are considered as high-quality magazines by the scientific community in this area. We have characterized na up-to-date panorama of the material issued by above-mentioned magazines comprising the issues between 1997 and 2002. In this research we have privileged the concepts of Science, Written, Language and Phonological Intervention contained in each article; and therefrom, we happened to identify three different moments: the first of them is alike to the main characteristics of the Positivistic scientific paradigm; the second one may be considered as a transition period, in which hints of more technical conceptions alternate with wider and more social ones; in a third momente, a set of issues was investigated arguing the Positivistic trend in one hand, and, in the other, adopting more social, cultural, historical and subjective conceptions. Publications on speech and hearing, with respect to neonatology, were used as the source of this documentation-based study. Source material was selected based on the criteria of publication date, type of publication and author. Books and specific book chapters were selected in accordance to topic relevance and time of publishing, published articles were included from specialized Brazilian periodicals in the speech and hearing field, and theses and dissertations from post-graduate study programs were also considered as source material. The selected scientific literature relating to newborns consisted of a total of 118 publications from the established time period. Of these, 2.4% were published in 2000, 19% in 2001 and 2002, 11.9% in 2003, 9.5% in 2004, 23.8% in 2005 and 14.4% in 2006. Publication type distribution was as follows: 35.6% were articles and dissertations, 20.3% were individual book chapters, and 4.25% were books and theses. The publications analyzed in this study considered 12 themes in all, the two most common being alimentation (45%) and hearing (32.3%). The literature distribution by epistemological classification was 89% positivist and 11% dialecthistorical. The results of this study show that neonatal issues in phonoaudiology present a valuable field of research that should be further investigated so as to broaden the depth of knowledge and understanding in this area / Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar parte da produção cientifica nacional acerca do neonato, entre os anos de 2000 a 2006. Para isso, realizamos um estudo, de caráter documental, por meio do levantamento de publicações fonoaudiológicas sobre neonatologia. Os critérios utilizados para a seleção dessas fontes foram a periodicidade, ao tipo de produção: livros e capítulos de livro selecionados de acordo com a temática abordada e o período considerado, os artigos publicados em revistas nacionais especializadas da área fonoaudiológica, as teses e dissertações produzidas nos programas de pós-graduação e à autoria. As produções cientificas em torno do neonato, no período considerado, perfazem um total de 118 publicações. Desse total, 2,4% foram publicados em 2000; 19% em 2001 e 2002; 11,9% em 2003; 9,5% em 2004; 23,8% em 2005 e 14,4% em 2006. Quanto ao tipo das publicações, 35,6% foram publicadas em forma de artigos e dissertações, 20,3% de capítulos e 4,25% de livros e teses. As publicações analisadas versaram sobre 12 temáticas, sendo as duas maiores encontradas, alimentação (45%) e audição (32,3%). Quanto a distribuição da produção por vertente epistemológica, 89% positivista e 11% dialético-histórico. A pesquisa permitiu recuperar parte da memória acerca da construção de um campo de atuação e de conhecimento da área neonatal na Fonoaudiologia

Method: documental study which raised the publications in periodicals, thesis and dissertations, considering the following aspects: 1) publication period, 2) frequency distribution by period, 3) publication types, 4) sub-thematics (5) epistemological approach, 6) phonoaudiological area which works belongs to. Results: Family is a matter of research little explored. In the period of 20 (twenty) years investigated, we have found only 57 (fifty seven) works. The sub-thematics most approached were: Importance of Work with The Family to Phonoaudiological Therapy and Influences of Families Relations on Language Symptoms. The theme family is preferably historical dialecticaly approached. The main thematic to which searched works belong is Language. Conclusion: The research had a growth which, althought small, follows the growth of scientific production of area in general. The epistemological approach preferably chosed by researchers takes the theme family in its complexity, it means, in its dialectic movement of interaction among several factors, suggesting this is the best way to understand it. Maybe there is a relation between the little research productions in such an important theme with the lack of knowledge by searchers in handling research in a dialectical historical approach / Objetivo: Realizar o levantamento e a caracterização de parte da produção científica fonoaudiológica nacional sobre família no período entre 1986 a 2006. Método: Tratase de estudo de caráter documental que levantou as publicações em periódicos, teses e dissertações considerando os seguintes aspectos: 1) período da publicação, 2) distribuição de freqüência por período, 3) tipos de publicação, 4) sub-temáticas abordadas, 5) vertente epistemológica dos trabalhos, 6) área da fonoaudiologia a que o trabalho pertence. Resultados: Família é um tema de pesquisa ainda pouco explorado. No período de 20 anos investigado, encontramos apenas 57 trabalhos. As sub-temáticas mais abordadas formam Importância do Trabalho com a Família para Terapia Fonoaudiológica e Influências das Relações Familiares nos Sintomas de Linguagem. O tema família é preferencialmente abordado na vertente dialético histórica. A principal área temática a que pertencem os trabalhos encontrados é Linguagem. Conclusão: A produção teve um crescimento que, embora pequeno, acompanha o crescimento da produção científica da área como um todo. A abordagem epistemológica/metodológica preferencialmente escolhida pelos pesquisadores toma o tema família em sua complexidade, ou seja, em seu movimento dialético de interação entre diversos fatores, sugerindo que esta é a melhor forma de apreendê-lo. Talvez haja relação entre a pouca produção de pesquisas num tema tão importante com a falta de familiaridade dos pesquisadores com o manejo da pesquisa na vertente dialético histórica
