Komunikační rozhraní standardu Aerospace Industry Bus ARINC429 / Aerospace Industry Bus ARINC429 Low Cost Communication InterfaceMichna, Jakub January 2015 (has links)
The aim of this work was to create a communication interface of standard ARINC Aerospace Industry Bus 429. The work has slightly outlined existing solutions, from which it can draw inspiration. Further analysis was performed, analysis of ARINC 429 bus, analysis of Raspberry Pi platform on which the solution will be built, and analysis of selected bus controller HI-3593. After that concept was created, based on concept was created the scheme contains circuitry HI-3593. On the basis of the scheme was created DPS. Next was created software for DPS. In the end of this work was tested abilities to receive and send messages on the bus ARINC 429.

Towards Understanding Systems Through User InteractionsSmestad, Doran 30 April 2015 (has links)
Modern computer systems are complex. Even in the best of conditions, it can be difficult to understand the behavior of the system and identify why certain actions are occurring. Existing systems attempt to provide insight by reviewing the effects of actions on the system and estimating their cause. As computer systems are strongly driven by actions of the user, we propose an approach to identify processes which have interacted with the user and provide data to which system behaviors were caused by the user. We implement three sensors within the graphical user interface capable of extracting the necessary information to identify these processes. We show our instrumentation is effective in characterizing applications with an on-screen presence, and provide data towards the determination of user intentions. We prove that our method for obtaining the information from the user interface can be done in an efficient manner with minimal overheads.

Stream and system management for networked audio devicesEisenmann, André January 2008 (has links)
<p>The paper deals with the development of a remote management solution for embedded audio devices. The creation of a development environment for the embedded ARM target is discussed as well as several available solutions for remote system management. The creation of a service for stream and system management using SNMP is discussed as well as several changes to the SNMP standard to improve performance using multicast. The implementation of a proof-of-concept cross-platform user interface for the client side is described as well.</p>

Multiplatformní přehrávač zvukových signálů / Multiplatform audio playerMalár, Ladislav January 2015 (has links)
This master thesis deals with creating of the cross-platform audio player with the possibility of its use in the speech-language pathology clinic. The theoretical part is focused on the comparison of two multi-platform libraries, of which was one chosen for creating of the player. Subsequently on functionality SQLite database, which was also used as part of the final application. The basis of the practical part is the creation of the cross-platform audio player which is extended about database of patients and also extended about speech signal analysis with the help of VST plugin.

Most mezi GLUT a knihovnou pro tvorbu uživatelských rozhraní / Bridge between GLUT and Graphical User Interface LibraryFriesse, Jan January 2008 (has links)
This document describes a major problems with creating 3D applications in a graphic library named OpenGL. There are some basic informations about a GLUT library including main advantages and disadvantages and a description of alternative implementations of a GLUT API. Further content is focused on the most familiar graphic libraries for creating user interfaces which should be used to develop the OpenGL applications and with their advantages and disadvantages too. The next part describes a draft of a new GLUT API implementation based on the selected user interface library. Major part of thesis is about implementation of GtkGLUT library. Reader can find this implementation on CD. Last part describes future development plans.

The Tyrosine Kinase GTK : Signal Transduction and Biological FunctionAnnerén, Cecilia January 2001 (has links)
<p>Protein tyrosine kinases play an important role in the regulation of various cellular processes such as</p><p>growth, differentiation and survival. GTK, a novel SRC-like cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase, was recently cloned from a mouse insulinoma cell line and the present work was conducted in order to find a biological function of GTK in insulin producing and neuronal cells. It was observed that kinase active GTK-mutants, expressed in RINm5F cells, transferred to the cell nucleus and increased the levels of the cell cycle regulatory protein p27KIP1, reduced cell growth and stimulated glucagon mRNA expression. Furthermore, wild type GTK induces neurite outgrowth in the rat adrenal pheochromocytoma PC12 cell line, through activation of the RAP1-pathway, suggesting a role of GTK for cell differentiation. Studies using transgenic mice, expressing GTK under the control of the rat insulin 1 promoter, demonstrated a dual role of GTK for β-cell growth: Whereas GTK increases the β-cell mass and causes enhanced β-cell proliferation in response to partial pancreatectomy it also induced β-cell death in response to proinflammatory cytokines and impaired the glucose tolerance in mice treated with the β-cell toxin streptozotocin suggesting a possible role of GTK for β-cell destruction in Type 1 diabetes. We have also observed that GTK-transgenic islets and GTK-expressing RINm5F cells exhibit a reduced insulininduced activation of the insulin receptor substrate (IRS-1 and IRS-2)-pathways, partly due to an increased basal activity of these. GTK was found to associate with and phosphorylate the SH2 domain adapter protein SHB, which could explain many of the GTK-dependent effects both in vitro and in vivo. In summary, the present work suggests that the novel tyrosine kinase GTK is involved in various signal transduction pathways, regulating different cellular responses, such as proliferation, differentiation and survival.</p>
