You can see the graffiti as an expression of socio-cultural increasingly widespread in the wall of the metropolis. When walking through the streets of the city realizes is that the girls involved have similarities in their pieces of clothing and slang; identify themselves with audiovisual elements in their everyday experiences. The data from this research are themselves in oral sources, through semi-structured interviews, that after his transcript is reviewed by analysing the content. The technique of interview is used to hold talks with the audience on a range of topics enabling reach the constructive elements of the identities of these young people. They are used authors of Social Sciences as Erving Goffman, Manuel Castells, Stuart Hall that reflect on the notion of identity. / Esta dissertação tem como objetivo analisar a formação de identidade social das grafiteiras de Porto Alegre. Estas escritoras de rua imprimem nos muros uma prática de construção de identidade, como mulheres conquistando espaço em um território até então predominantemente masculino - o mundo do grafite e do hip hop. É possível perceber o grafite como um elemento de expressão sócio-cultural cada vez mais difundido nas paredes da metrópole. Ao andar pelas ruas da cidade percebe-se que as meninas envolvidas possuem semelhanças em suas peças de vestuário e gírias; identificam-se através de elementos audiovisuais em suas vivencias cotidianas. Os dados desta pesquisa constituem-se em fontes orais, através de entrevistas semi-estruturadas, que, após sua transcrição são analisadas através da análise de conteúdo. A técnica de entrevista é utilizada, para manter conversações com o público alvo sobre um leque de tópicos que possibilitem chegar aos elementos construtivos das identidades dessas jovens. São utilizados autores das Ciências Sociais como Erving Goffman, Manuel Castells, Stuart Hall que refletem sobre a noção de identidade.
