Hra na klavír ve světle vědeckých poznatků / Piano playing in the light of academic knowledge

Rašková, Beata January 2018 (has links)
This thesis combines academic research and the knowledge of bodily functions and mental techniques with musical practice. As an introduction, it deals with the question of talent in general, as well as various factors affecting a musician’s success, diligence and appropriate motivation among them. The main body of the thesis focuses on the creative process and ways to induce creativity, concentrating on the effectiveness of practice and its specific characteristics: the most suitable time of the day, the optimal length of practice, goal planning and individual techniques. This section is accompanied by an overview of the most frequent mistakes made while memorising compositions and a description of the mental process of committing information to long-term memory, including the most effective learning techniques. Finally, the thesis examines the issue of mental preparation for public performances and discusses long-term as well as short-term preparation techniques, considering the question of lifestyle and dietary recommendations before and after a concert.

Evaluation of the use of engineering judgements applied to analytical human reliablity analysis methods (HRA)

Kohlhepp, Katherine D. 12 April 2006 (has links)
Due to the scarcity of Human Reliability Analysis (HRA) data, one of the key elements of any HRA analysis is use of engineering judgment. The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) HRA Calculator guides the user through the steps of any HRA analysis and allows the user to choose among analytical HRA methods. It applies Accident Sequence Evaluation Program (ASEP), Technique for Human Error Rate Prediction (THERP), the HCR/ORE Correlation, and the Caused Based Decision Tree Method (CBDTM). This program is intended to produce consistent results among different analysts provided that the initial information is similar. Even with this analytical approach, an HRA analyst must still render several judgments. The objective of this study was to evaluate the use of engineering judgment applied to the quantification of post-initiator actions using the HRA Calculator. The Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station (CPSES) Level 1 Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) HRA was used as a database for examples and numerical comparison. Engineering judgments were evaluated in the following ways: 1) Survey of HRA experts. Two surveys were completed, and the participants provided a range of different perspectives on how they individually apply engineering judgment. 2) Numerical comparison among the three methods. 3) Review of CPSES HRA and identification of judgments and the effects on the overall results of the database. The results of this study identified thirteen areas in which an HRA analyst must interpret and render judgments on how to quantify a Human Error Probability (HEP) and recommendations are provided on how current industry practitioners render these same judgments. The areas are: identification and definition of actions to be modeled, identification and definition of actions to be modeled, definition of critical actions, definition of cognitive portion of the action, choice of methodology, stress level, rule-, skill- or knowledge-based designation, timing information, training, procedures, human interactions with hardware, recoveries and dependencies within an action, and review of final HEP.

Podíl klavírní hry na profilaci budoucího učitele hudby - hudební výchovy / The proportion of piano at the profiles of future teacher of Music - Music Education

Kistyová, Ľubica January 2006 (has links)
The author of the thesis entitled " The Share of Piano Playing in Shaping the Future Music Teacher" wants to bring to attention the importance of piano playing in all parts of the musical educational process and its significant role in forming the personality profile of a future music teacher. Without developed piano playing skills, a teacher cannot take a creative part in the musical educational process, attract the children's attention and involve them in creative musical activities. In the connection with the current educational trends (humanistic, poly-aesthetic principles); the demands on teachers are gradually increasing. Teachers are expected to fulfil high professional and personal criteria to be able to perform effectively at contemporary schools, to control the education, where children's spontaneousness and vivacity play a dominant role. That is why, at the beginning of the thesis, the author discusses philosophical points and then deals with the development of a teacher's personality via the prism of piano playing. The thesis also covers psychological bases of personality from the point of view of three systems: biophysiological- motor-neuronal, cognitive and non-cognitive. In them, the author has found a good basis to apply artistic-interpretational principles present in piano playing. Powered...

Jazykové hry ve výuce českého jazyka na 1. stupni ZŠ / Language games in the teaching of Czech language on the first grade of the basic

LUKEŠOVÁ, Tereza January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with linguistic games in the Czech language at the primary schools. The thesis is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. . The theoretical part focuses on the game and its benefits. Emphasis is put on the didactic game, its definition, classification, motivation, managemet and evaluation of the linguistic games. Theoretical part of the theses also deals with cooperative teaching and time undemanding cooperative methods. The practical part acquaints with the interpretation of the survey results. The survey was carried out by questionnaire. A fund of linguistic games applicable for the primary schools usage is part of the theses. These linguistic games were tried out and experienced.

Vánoční hry pro děti a mládež v ČCE / Christmas dramas for children and teenagers in ČCE

Halamová, Anna January 2013 (has links)
The purpose of my diploma thesis Christmas dramas for children and teenagers in ČCE is to find out if authors of Christmas dramas in ČCE work with them as valid parts of catechetical work with children and teenagers. I decided to make analysis of some texts of Christmas theater plays, which are freely distributed in the church. First chapter tries to analyze how children relate to the work on a drama and what are the benefits of this work. Second chapter deals with theory of writing dramas for children and teenagers. Chapter three deals with analysis of two biblical texts Matt 1:18-2:23 and Luke 1:5-2:40 because they are often used as a source for Christmas dramas. Chapter four deals with analysis of three Christmas plays written by members of ČCE for congregations of ČCE. The emphasis is mainly on theological and pedagogical analysis. The conclusion of my analysis is that authors of Christmas dramas in ČCE do not work with them as valid parts of catechetical work. Key words Theatre play, children, teenagers, Christmas, age, author, message, understanding, pedagogical, theological.

Hodnocení schopností hráčů pro hry s náhodnými protihráči / Player Skill Rating for Games with Random Matchmaking

Hubík, Jan January 2016 (has links)
Traditional skill ratings are not suitable for new types of games. We developed a general skill rating framework for games which do not discriminate players based on their skill. This class of games is widely present in the world. We use Bayesian statistics to convert aggregate data about the player's performance to a percentile rank describing his skill. The system is applicable to both single-player and multiplayer games with binary and non-binary endings. The rating formulas do not contain any arbitrary constants. We have tested the system in simulations and on real game data, and we outline its possible applications.
