Masques Op. 34, Karol Szymanowski : étude de l’implication structurelle des différents niveaux du parcours harmonique : Analyse du discours et problématiques interprétatives / Masques Op. 34, Karol Szymanowski : a study of the structural role of the multiple harmonic layers : Structural analysis and interpretative solutions

Alvarez, Christophe 06 July 2017 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to show—by means of a rigorous analysis of the harmonic principles which govern the multiple sections of the piano triptych Masques Op. 34 of Karol Szymanowski — that beyond the apparently heterogeneous surface the musical discourse is subtly and coherently organised by the interpenetration of two layers: the immediate perception of sound structure and the underlayer which proceeds from the order of the harmonic fundamentals. This thesis also proposes suggestions for interpretation, determined by the analytical experience.

Simulační analýza vibrací turbodmychadla / Simulation anlysis of turbocharger vibrations

Valo, Lukáš January 2019 (has links)
The master thesis deals with computational modeling of a turbocharger vibrations and and assessment of influnce of passive dynamic vibration absorber on vibrations of actuator bracket. The use of dynamic vibration absorber was summarized in the research study. The analysis were performed using finite element method in ANSYS. Several computational models of turbocharger were created with different ways of modeling bolted joints between turbocharger parts. Modal analysis of each model was performed and the results were compared. For the selected model, the response to the kinematic excitation from the internal combustion engine for two load conditions was calculated using harmonic analysis. A simple model of vibration dynamic absorber was applied to the turbocharger model with reduced degrees of freedom and its influnce on vibrations of actuator bracket was investigated. Significant decrease of the maximum acceleration amplitude was achieved in a given frequency range when absorber parameters were optimized.

Analýza vlivu tlumení na velikost odezvy při dynamickém buzení světlometu / Analysis of the effect of damping on the magnitude of the response during dynamic headlamp excitation

Lukáš, Jan January 2020 (has links)
The aim of the submitted diploma thesis is the magnitude determination of the headlamp response to the dynamic excitation. Currently it is necessary to measure this response, because it is one of the assessed criteria of quality of the headlamp. When comparing results of the experimental measurement and the computational modelling, a good consensus of resonant frequencies is observed, but there are significant differences in acceleration amplitudes. The cause of this is the variable damping value. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with polymeric materials, basics of oscillation and damping. It serves to understand the mechanisms, which influence the results of the experimental measurement. The practical part is dedicated to the procedure of the computational modelling and the experimental measurement implementation. The analysis of the experimental measurement results leads to an ascertainment of nonlinearities, which influence the headlamp behaviour. The results of a sensitivity analysis of the computational modelling are used to create curves, on the basis of which the damping is estimated. The inclusion of the estimated damping into computational modelling leads to reduction of the compared differences of the acceleration amplitudes. The conclusion of the thesis contains the recommendation for the damping determination during the computational modelling of the headlamp.

Analýza dynamických vlastností pneumatického aktuátoru / Analysis of dynamic properties of pneumatic actuator

Hrivňák, Ján January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deas with dynamic analysis of pneumatic actuator which is used as regulation mechanis of turbochargers with Variable Nozzle Turbine (VNT) technology. The first part of work is focused on experimental modeling which goal is obtaining Frequency Response Function on specify frequency range by Frequency Response Function Analysis – FRFA. Dominant vibrations of pneumatic actuator active parts is expected on this specify frequency range. Results of experimental modeling will be used for gaining input parameters for numerical computation as well. The second part deal with Pre-Stressed Modal Analysis and subsequently Harmonic analysis. Obtained results with numerical and experimental analysis will be compared. This part of diploma thesis is solved in programmatic environment ANSYS Workbench.

Pevnostní analýza skříně alternátoru / Strength Analysis of Alternator Body

Kratochvíl, Petr January 2015 (has links)
In this diploma thesis is theoretically described and then practically performed stress analysis of alternator body, which in terms of traffic racing car often passes into disrepair. It is used reverse engineering method. The real part is converted to digital model and analysed using FEM calculation. Incoming data for FEM are obtained by experimental measurement on the car.

Posouzení vlivu tuhosti ložiskových štítů a kvality vyvážení na vibrace synchronního generátoru / Effect of the bearing shields stiffness and balance quality on synchronous generator vibration

Čepica, Vojtěch January 2016 (has links)
The main focus of my master thesis is the assessment of effects of the bearing shields stiffness and balance quality on synchronous generator vibration. The incentive of writing the thesis is the problematic situation, which is characterized by synchronous generator vibration. The aim of my thesis is to variate shields stiffness and to find out the dependence of vibration on stiffness during nominal speed. I have used the program ANSYS based on finite element method to solve this problem.

Fourier Series Applications in Multitemporal Remote Sensing Analysis using Landsat Data

Brooks, Evan B. 27 June 2013 (has links)
Researchers now have unprecedented access to free Landsat data, enabling detailed monitoring of the Earth's land surface and vegetation.  There are gaps in the data, due in part to cloud cover. The gaps are aperiodic and localized, forcing any detailed multitemporal analysis based on Landsat data to compensate.   Harmonic regression approximates Landsat data for any point in time with minimal training images and reduced storage requirements.  In two study areas in North Carolina, USA, harmonic regression approaches were least as good at simulating missing data as STAR-FM for images from 2001.  Harmonic regression had an R^2"0.9 over three quarters of all pixels. It gave the highest R_Predicted^2 values on two thirds of the pixels.  Applying harmonic regression with the same number of harmonics to consecutive years yielded an improved fit, R^2"0.99 for most pixels.   We next demonstrate a change detection method based on exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) charts of harmonic residuals. In the process, a data-driven cloud filter is created, enabling use of partially clouded data.  The approach is shown capable of detecting thins and subtle forest degradations in Alabama, USA, considerably finer than the Landsat spatial resolution in an on-the-fly fashion, with new images easily incorporated into the algorithm.  EWMA detection accurately showed the location, timing, and magnitude of 85% of known harvests in the study area, verified by aerial imagery.   We use harmonic regression to improve the precision of dynamic forest parameter estimates, generating a robust time series of vegetation index values.  These values are classified into strata maps in Alabama, USA, depicting regions of similar growth potential.  These maps are applied to Forest Service Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) plots, generating post-stratified estimates of static and dynamic forest parameters.  Improvements to efficiency for all parameters were such that a comparable random sample would require at least 20% more sampling units, with the improvement for the growth parameter requiring a 50% increase. These applications demonstrate the utility of harmonic regression for Landsat data.  They suggest further applications in environmental monitoring and improved estimation of landscape parameters, critical to improving large-scale models of ecosystems and climate effects. / Ph.
