Tomei as charges do cartunista Henfil como base para desenvolver uma abordagem sobre alguns conceitos que são desenvolvidos pelo fenômeno da charge no imaginário social, histórico e jornalístico. As suas charges que foram produzidas entre um período que vai de 1964-1985 compreende todo o contexto temporal da ditadura militar. E com base nas pesquisas desenvolvidas sobre o imaginário de Maffesoli e Baczko procuro fazer uma leitura interpretativa que leva em consideração a produção e a criação das imagens gráficas, neste sentido as tiras do cartunista Henfil criadas em diversos jornais e revistas como Alterosa, Diário de Minas, Jornal dos Sports, O Pasquim etc. revelam as possibilidades e situações que o situam a partir do processo de criação dos seus personagens e de suas temáticas levando em consideração as suas experiências como cartunista. O imaginário no campo da comunicação deve nos colocar diante das fronteiras desses diversos espaços que quando se encontram funcionam para a produção de sentidos. Estas charges podem de fato nos revelar momentos de tensões entre o individual e o coletivo ou mesmo entre o sujeito e sua tensão em relação a toda conjuntura social. Pois, neste sentido, a comunicação é quem pode possibilitar na produção de cultura, sendo que se a charge é um produto da cultura também o é de igual modo um produto da comunicação. ________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This research process aims to address the main conceptual aspects that are written by the effects of charge. I took the cartoons of Henfil cartoonist as a basis to develop an approach on some concepts that are developed by the charge phenomenon in the social imaginary, historical and journalistic. His cartoons that were produced between a period from 1964-1985 comprises the entire time frame of the military dictatorship. And based on research carried out on the imagination of Maffesoli and Baczko try to do an interpretative reading that takes into account the production and creation of graphic images, in this sense the Henfil cartoonist's strips created in various newspapers and magazines as Alterosa, Mining Journal , Journal of Sports, The Quibbler etc. reveal the possibilities and situations that are located from the process of creation of its characters and its themes taking into account their experiences as a cartoonist. The imagery in the field of communication should stand before the borders of these various spaces when they meet work for the production of meanings. These charges can indeed reveal moments of tension between the individual and the collective or even between the subject and its tension with the whole social situation. For this end, the communication is who can enable the production culture, and if the charge is a culture product also is equally a product of communication.
